508 Murderers
Jon Snow dreamed of the crypts beneath Winterfell once more.
Half-asleep and half-awake, he walked through the narrow, dark tunnels, the statues of the former Winter Kings looking at him with cold eyes.
Finally, he stopped in front of a grave, because the statue in front of him was himself.
Although Jon had longed to be a real Stark since he was a child, and it was naturally part of that dream to be buried in the underground crypt after death, he sat up in fright when that wish did come true.
"Whew-whew-"
Jon stroked the blanket over his body, his heart beating wildly.
The room was pitch black, and the moonlight outside the window was cold.
For some reason, Jon felt an inexplicable panic, as if something terrible was about to happen.
When he lay down again, he tossed and turned, unable to sleep any longer, so he simply put on his cloak and walked out of the room.
The sound of opening the door woke up the ice wolf Bai Ling, who was sleeping behind the door, and it opened its blood-red eyes and looked at its owner suspiciously.
The cold wind was howling outside, and the sky and the earth were dark.
The smell of pine wood is accompanied by a biting chill that wafts in the wind.
Jon stood on the balcony and looked south, as if he could see Winterfell thousands of miles away.
The castle that makes him feel warm when he thinks about it.
"Whew!"
"Bai Ling, don't scream!" Jon scolded back.
The Icewolf shrank his head, restlessly moving back and forth at his feet.
Jon frowned slightly, looked back to the south, and then saw a dark shadow leading the horse into the castle.
By the light of the moon, he recognized the man as Robb Stark.
Jon seemed to have guessed where the other had gone, and a narrow smile appeared on his face.
He descended the stairs to the stable, just in time to see Robb had tethered his horse.
"Hey! Robb, you're going to Mole Village again? β
Robb glanced back at Jon and didn't answer.
"Ahem, don't worry, I won't tell my father." Jon was apprehensive by the other party's cold eyes, and quickly explained.
Robb still didn't speak, and walked forward.
"That's angry?" Jon followed, "Don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing you of anything. Actually, I've made similar mistakes, and you should know that. In any case, I advise you that it would be better to send that girl south.
Mole Village is really not the right place for her...... What's more, I always have the feeling that something big is going to happen at the Great Wall, and the north will soon become very unsafe......
Hey Robb, are you listening? β
Jon sensed Robb's abnormality, but didn't think much of it, thinking that something bad had happened to him in Mole Village, so he didn't say anything more.
Up the stairs, Jon found Robb heading towards his room.
He thought Robb had something to talk to him about alone, so he followed.
Unexpectedly, when the two came to the door, the ice wolf Bai Ling suddenly jumped out, grinned at Robb, and kept roaring.
"Bai Ling! Don't do that! Jon stepped forward to chase the Icewolf away, and apologized to Robb, "Sorry, it's a little out of order today. β
Robb didn't say anything and went straight into the house.
"Why are they all not normal today?" Jon lagged behind and muttered, and stepped inside.
"Robb, what's wrong with you? Weird? Hey, why are you rummaging through my stuff? β
Jon saw Robb dig out a black package from under his bed.
When they opened it, they found that they contained more than a dozen knives, as well as a batch of leaf-shaped spear tips, and countless arrowheads, all of which were black.
The dim candlelight danced on it, flashing a few thin lines of orange ripples.
"These are dragon crystal weapons." Jon explained, "The last time I went north to inspect the Great Wall with Commander-in-Chief Mormont, I found it at the Ancestral Fist Peak, well, more precisely, it was found by Bai Ling. The black package, judging by the material, should be a relic of a brother of the Night's Watch. β
In addition to the dragon crystal weapon, there is also a horn in the package.
It looks old, I don't know what kind of material it is made of, and the edges are inlaid with bronze.
Seeing Robb pick up the trumpet, Jon said:
"That horn should be broken, it won't blow......"
Before he could finish speaking, he saw Robb put the horn to his mouth, puffed up his mouth, and blew hardβ
"Woooooooo
The terrible sound of the horn pierced the night sky like a sharp blade.
Loud and deadly, an urgent scream echoed through the wind and snow with a creepy trill.
Jon covered his ears and shouted for Robb to stop blowing the trumpet, but his voice was drowned out by the sound of the trumpet.
He saw that his brother's cheeks were crawling with dense blue lines, his whole body was twitching violently, and the cold blue light escaped from his body, as if at this moment, Robb was consuming his life to blow this strange horn.
Woowoooooo
The terrible sound of the horn continued, as if filled with thousands of years of pain and anger, vented in this moment, threatening to freeze everyone's ears.
Invisible energy emanated from the horns, echoed through the room, reverberated above the Great Wall of Despair, and reverberated throughout the world of ice and snow.
Just when Jon thought the horn would go on forever, it came to an abrupt end.
Robb shook and fell to the groundβ
Bang!
It was like an ice sculpture, and it fell into countless pieces.
Jon looked at this scene and was dumbfounded.
But at this moment, an even more terrifying scene appeared.
The earth began to shake, the houses crumbled, and the whole black castle seemed to be held in the hands of giants, playing with it wantonly.
The night watchmen were all awakened by the commotion.
When they rushed out of the room, they saw a scene that everyone would never forget.
The towering Great Wall of Desperation actually emitted countless light blue smoke in the moonlight.
Before they could react, the mighty ice wall collapsed.
Time seemed to stand still.
At this moment, all those who witnessed this scene forgot to breathe.
It was as if the whole world was falling apart.
ββββββββββ
"The Great Wall of Desperation has really fallen......"
Jaime Lannister said in a dreamy tone.
He climbed out of the cellar and saw that the northern sky was shining with a faint blue aurora, beautiful, but full of terrible murderous intrigue.
And under that aurora, the Great Wall of Desperation, the blue and white cliff that traverses the heavens and the earth, has collapsed.
"Hahahaha! Pour it well! It's good to pour it! Cersei laughed wildly, her green eyes full of madness, "This damn world, this stinking world, should have been covered in ice and snow and filled with death!" Die! Die! Hahahaha......"
Jaime looked at his sister's crazy appearance in a daze, and the image of the mad king Aerys couldn't help but appear in his mind.
At the end of the War, when the Targaryens were gone, the Mad King wanted to burn the entire King's Landing with [wildfire], so that the whole city could give him a burial for the Targaryen dynasty.
It was at that moment that Jaime plunged his sword into the Mad King's chest and killed the King he had sworn to protect.
The sword-wielding right hand had long since been severed, but Jaime still seemed to be able to feel its presence, painful presence.
"Hey, what are you doing!"
His sister's cries pulled Jaime back to reality, but his expression was glazed and his gaze was straight.
"Is that scaring you silly?" Cersei said disdainfully, "What are you afraid of, even if the strange ghost kills in, it will be Caesar's trouble." And for us, it's a great opportunity! Quick, follow me! β
"Where are you going?" Jaime asked subconsciously.
"The South, of course. Do you want to stay here and wait for the stranger to come and kill you? Cersei said.
Seeing that her younger brother was still stunned, she forcibly endured the dissatisfaction in her heart and explained again:
"Now that the Great Wall has fallen, Caesar can't take care of us anymore, and it's okay to go south. Moreover, taking advantage of such a great opportunity, we can also contact the lords in the south who are dissatisfied with Caesar, and maybe we can start a rebellion, haha, that's right! β
The more Cersei thought about it, the more excited she became:
"Don't look at Caesar in power now, but in fact, not all the nobles of the Seven Kingdoms are willing to submit to him.
Luce Bolton of the Castle of Terror was the first northern nobleman to surrender to him, but Caesar still gave the Duke to House Stark and Old Frey of the Riverlands. Mrs. Anya Weywood of the Vale, who has been planning for so long, but was plucked by the Royce family, will she be willing?
And of course, don't forget the nobles of the West!
What qualifies that dwarf of Tyrion to be Lord of the West, that waste, that traitor, that scumbag!
We can go to Malbran, we can go to Tarbeck, Farman, Lyford...... They were my father's most loyal supporters!
Before, Caesar was too powerful for them to resist, but now it's different.
The Great Wall has fallen! The Strange Ghost is coming!
Caesar can no longer take care of the rear, we can seize the opportunity to set off riots!
Together, Jaime, regain the glory of the Lannisters! β
But this impassioned speech did not seem to impress Jaime at all.
Instead, his gaze at his sister became more and more indifferent.
"I used to think we were alike. It's as if one soul shares two shells. "Remember when we were kids in Castle Rock, we used to play a game of changing clothes?" β
"Of course I do." Cersei said patiently, "We are golden twins, and when we were young, we could barely tell the difference, and even my father couldn't see through your clothes when I put on your clothes. β
"yes." "So I'm madly in love with you, thinking you're my other half, and only together we're whole." β
"I love you too." Cersei took a few steps forward and reached out to caress his rough, cold face, "So, come with me, go south, and we will overthrow the Caesar dynasty together, and then sit on the Iron Throne together." β
Jaime shook his head slowly:
"Nope. Now I understand. We are completely different. β
"What do you mean?" The look in her brother's eyes made Cersei panic suddenly, as if something important in her life was about to leave her.
"Is the throne and power really so important to you?" Jaime asked, "Even if you destroy the whole world, you have to get it?" β
These words stung Cersei, and her face changed:
"You, a monarch killer, are also qualified to stand on the moral high ground to judge me?"
"I am not killing a king, but a madman who wants to burn the whole world with flames."
"And do you still want to kill me now?" Cersei looked at her brother defiantly, "Come, knight who stands up for justice. Kill me! β
Jaime stood still, and the phantom limb began to throb violently again.
"Something that doesn't have guts!" Cersei scolded, "I shouldn't have pinned my hopes on you. You shit, how many times have you let me down. The gods are really blind and gave you the physique of a man, if I am the eldest son of Lannister, how can it be Caesar's turn to be arrogant!
Okay, since you don't want to go with me, then I'll go by myself. Even without you, there are men who are willing to wield a long sword for me. β
"Like that wild man just now, right?" Jaime asked.
"That's right!"
"So you volunteered to climb into his bed?"
"Hehe, do I have a choice?" Cersei's face contorted, "Don't you know where this damn mole village is?" If I don't climb into Tormond's bed, more men will climb into my bed! At least Tormund is strong enough to shelter me and give me a horn for revenge! β
Jaime's gaze grew colder:
"You're really different from what I imagined."
The words stung Cersei again, and she raised her voice and said sharply:
"Yes, I'm not the eldest lady you imagined. I've slept with Robert, with Lancel, with Osmond, and even with Moon Boy!
The gods didn't give me a strong physique, but at least they gave me the weapon to control men, right between my legs.
I'll continue to use it if I need to, to control Luce Burton, Wald Frey, Harold Hatton, ...... If I had to sleep all the lords of the Seven Kingdoms to ascend to the Iron Throne, then I would not hesitate to do it! β
With that, Cersei turned and left.
But he hadn't taken a few steps before footsteps sounded behind him.
She thought that her brother had finally changed his mind, so she turned around, and just as she wanted to speak, she saw a pair of big hands grabbing her neck.
The power was so great that she could even hear the clicking of her own throat.
"Zhan...... ......She used all her strength to squeeze a thin call out of her throat, but the killing intent in the man's eyes was colder than the wind and snow in the north.
She kept slapping her brother with her hand, but she couldn't shake the man at all.
Jaime's hands were as hard and cold as steel, tightening tighter and tighter.
The man lowered his head, as if he didn't dare to look into his sister's eyes, but his palms did not relax in the slightest.
He could clearly feel Cersei's fragile throat deformed in his hands......
The cold wind from beyond the Great Wall of Despair swept in, hitting his face, cold to the bone, but stinging like a flame.
In a trance, he seemed to have returned to King's Landing, to the last moments of the Retainer War, to the moment when the Mad King was crying to bury the city with flames.
At that moment, he stabbed out the long sword in his hand.
Became a monarch killer.
Now, he's strangulating yet another madman.
Become a family killer.
"No ......" Tears welled up in Cersei's eyes, which froze on her pale face before she could hit the ground.
At this moment, she suddenly recalled the prophecy that Toad Witch Queen had given her-
"One day, when you are drowned in tears, Valonqar will strangle your pale neck and take your life."
Valonqar means brother in the Valyrian language.
Cersei had thought that the brother was referring to Tyrion, so she had been trying to deal with him in a way that had been going on.
But it wasn't until then that she realized that she was wrong.
She had two brothers, but it wasn't Tyrion who took her life, it was the one she loved the most.
As she lay dying, Cersei seemed to see the ugly face of the witch queen back then, with her yellow eyes shining with a vicious light, smiling sarcastically at her.
