Chapter 116: Christmas

After a Quidditch match, the young wizards of Hogwarts will have their biggest holiday outside of summer - the Christmas break.

Due to recent circumstances, most parents did not let their children go home for the holidays, leaving them at Hogwarts.

The little wizards from the Muggle world didn't go back either, they had been called into the office by the professor to talk, though these things were still too much for them.

At the same time, the professors also wrote to communicate with their parents.

If you really need to go home, you will be accompanied by professors. Moreover, as the holidays come to an end, the professor will use Apparition to bring them back.

However, to make up for the children, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest have been exchanged, opening up some safe places for students to explore.

And on weekends, they can still go to Hogsmeade Village.

December 25, 1973, Christmas Day.

Hagrid borrowed a few good pine trees from the Forbidden Forest early and moved to Hogwarts Hall, as usual.

The ceiling of the auditorium has also changed the picture early, turning into a moving starry universe, gorgeous and mysterious.

The magic candle floated above the Great Hall, constantly burning, and the melted wax oil rolled down, turning into crystalline snowflakes in the air, swirling and falling down.

With a wave of Professor Flitwick's wand, the magic surged, adding a beautiful decoration to the auditorium.

The quaint walls have been renovated, and detailed lines appear on the walls, adding warmth and picturesqueness to the castle.

The pine tree was also dressed as a Christmas tree by Professor Flitwick, and the pine branches had a layer of snow on them, collapsing, and the snow flakes were constantly falling, but they did not decrease.

A pentagram floats on the top of the pine tree, emitting a soft glow.

Ribbons of golden red or emerald green or sky blue or bright yellow emanate from below the pentagram, at the top of the pine tree, connecting the ends of the pine branches.

At the end of the bottom pine branch, there is a round ball held by a thin thread, which glows slightly, and the internal streamer swims, jumping to the surface from time to time.

In the space above the auditorium, countless small things with shimmering lights were flying, and they were fairies, recruited by Professor Celtburn from the Forbidden Forest.

Their activity space is limited to that floor, and each Christmas tree is the passage for them to go up and down.

Therefore, on the Christmas tree, these beautiful creatures can also be seen.

Professor Sprout took out the mistletoe from the greenhouse behind the castle.

They grow on a thick, short branch that is planted in pots and absorbs nutrients from the soil to feed the mistletoe.

Mistletoe is an evergreen plant that resembles the Tree Guard Cauldron of Fantastic Beasts, and many Magizoologists or herbalists believe that there is some kind of relationship between them.

Finding this relationship may allow the two to transform each other, and thus discover the nature of magic.

However, neither Professor Sprout nor Professor Celt Byrne agrees with this view, and their relationship seems to be nothing but a little like it.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that trees that are guarded by a tree guard pot will not grow mistletoe.

By this time, it is already winter, and the mistletoe in the greenhouse has already produced spherical yellow or orange-red fruits.

The fruit grows on a small stem that grows out of the top branch, like a round ball that is held up.

Professor Sprout came to the auditorium with the mistletoe along with their parasitic subjects.

With Professor Flitvier's help, they placed the mistletoe in various places in the auditorium, and there was a lot of arrangement outside the auditorium, so they couldn't favor one over the other.

Not long after the mistletoe were arranged, there were several couples, taking advantage of the lack of people, holding hands and walking together under the mistletoe, in the disillusioned fluorescence, to bless their love.

Professors Sgrahorn and McGonagall were long overdue.

They walked in with a large square box and placed it in the center of the auditorium.

Soon, professors and students crowded over.

With Professor McGonagall's explanation, they knew what it did.

It's a lottery machine.

Each person was given a raffle, and it included things like rare potions, magic drinks, flavor enhancers, and mike crystals that Professor Sgrahorn had put in.

There are also some small gifts that Professor McGonagall has put in, and I heard that there is also a broomstick exchange voucher that can be found by the professor to get a broomstick.

Professor McGonagall also put in some small toys that Lily and Pandora made when they practiced Runiven, such as amulets, disposable invisibility charms, and toy wands (pseudo).

At this moment, the professors also had to think of some prizes to put in.

Professor Sprout prepared 10 1 Jin and 5 2 Jin Absorbent Fruit Exchange Vouchers, as well as Magic Plant Exchange Vouchers.

The latter can pick an ornamental magic plant from her.

Professor Flitwick also put some gadgets of his own making, as well as some things made by his magic research team.

Some are practical, some are just that. By the way, take a look at the receptivity of the little wizards.

Oh, and it's worth mentioning that Professor McGonagall also has a few workbooks for various subjects in it.

They are all hardcover editions, with not only autographs and messages from the professors of each department, but also Albus's signature and a moving photo of a letter of encouragement.

Each subject is limited to one copy, water and fire are not invasive, ordinary swords can not be in the slightest, and the temperature can also be adjusted with the body, so that you will always be comfortable.

You can also repeat the homework many times, and even find a professor to update the questions, which can be said to be a must-have learning tool for top students.

Time flew by, and night came.

A stage was erected in the middle of the auditorium, and under the watchful eyes of all the wizards, tonight's show began.

There are beautiful seniors singing; There are handsome seniors dancing fiercely; There are dramas and choruses arranged by students and professors.

The stern Professor McGonagall also has a gentle, sad side;

It seems that the small Professor Flitwick also has such a flexible and coquettish position, and he deserves to be a former duel champion, and his sword is not old;

Professor Gladir is still so shameless;

The fact that the always amiable Professor Sprout could be so "heroic" was very exciting to the little witches, especially when he saw the professor sitting down with a flushed face;

Headmaster Dumbledore's speech was still so powerful and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, but to everyone's surprise, the headmaster could say so much without scripting.

This greatly restored the Rector's image in everyone's minds, and it seemed that Professor McGonagall would have to wait a few more years.

Finally, there is an exciting lottery session, some people are happy and some are sad, but some people are happy and sad.

Looking at the potions workbook and a voucher in his hand, Jaime knew that he had hit the jackpot.

But, is this really a jackpot? He was skeptical.

However, the envious gaze of the people around him and the surprised gaze of the professors can't be faked.
