Chapter 36 The Visitor to the Water Pipe

"Buy a bouquet of flowers, sir."

"Do you want to come in and have a look at the freshly baked bread?"

"There is still one last bit of fresh milk just produced today, so don't miss it."

In order to get back faster, Ademisore took a shortcut down the alley.

As soon as I walked in, a completely different fresh breath rushed towards me.

All kinds of small shops and vendors are next to each other.

Many gentlemen and women in cheap suits and coarse cloth skirts wandered through the shops.

Ademisol bought a few bouquets of jasmine in exchange for a sweet smile from the little flower girl.

I bought another can of fresh milk and helped the farmer finish the last batch of fresh milk.

He slowly moved out of the alley with the crowd of purchasers.

When he got home, it was already half past seven in the evening, and he hugged all the items he had purchased with his right arm, and was about to pull out the keys from his trouser pocket with his left hand.

"Need help?"

A kind voice rang out.

Ademisore looked sideways and saw that it was Mr. Neighbor, who had been drunk before.

This time he saw the other party's appearance clearly, an ordinary middle-aged man, with a slightly uplifted belly, a kind complexion, and a red wine trough nose in the middle of his face.

"Of course, grateful."

Ademisore smiled and accepted the help, though it wasn't really needed with his precise control of his body.

"My name is Dustin Kadir, and I live next door to you."

Mr. Neighbor introduced himself as he reached out and took the item from Ademisor's arms.

"Ademisor Fett, who just moved in."

Ademisor nodded at Mr. Neighbor, and then looked down at the other's legs.

It didn't look like it was injured, so what I saw wasn't there yet.

He pondered silently in his heart.

"Yes, I know, you should have moved in the day before yesterday, I heard about it from the owners' committee, you know the owners' committee, right?"

"No, I don't know."

Ademisor shook his head with a polite smile and smoothly took the key out of his pocket and opened the door.

Dustin glanced at him with a little surprise, handed back the item in his hand, and enthusiastically introduced:

"It's not far ahead of you at No. 51, you should go and find out if you have time, it can help you solve a lot of difficulties."

"The other day I felt something in my water pipe, maybe a rat or something, and I asked someone from the owners' committee to help, and they sent someone to bang along the pipe, and it was fixed very quickly."

"Thank you for informing me, I'll check it out when I have time."

"Yes, of course, by the way, I don't know if you're free on Saturday night, my wife and I would like to invite you to our house, a small dinner, attended by the neighbors around here."

Inviting a new neighbor to the house is a normal social etiquette, so it's not a chance encounter, this gentleman came to invite me.

After a moment of thought, Ademisor nodded in response, and politely stretched out his hand and said:

"It's an honor, and I'd love to visit."

"That's it, welcome to Saturday night at six o'clock, then I'll take my leave, and have a nice evening."

"Thank you, and so do you."

Send off Mr. Neighbor and close the door.

Ademisol put the purchased ingredients in the kitchen.

After changing into loose pajamas, he fastened his apron and boiled a pot of hot water to burn the dishes and kitchen utensils he had bought.

"Oyster soup, well, the dish is simple."

He silently cheered himself up in his heart, using his precise control of his body to quickly cut the tomatoes and coriander he bought.

Then turn on the kitchen faucet and fill the pot with water.

Strangely, the flow of water from the faucet is getting smaller and smaller, accompanied by a slight sound coming from the pipe.

He instantly remembered what his neighbor Dustin had just said.

Is there really something in the pipe, a rat? He made the same assumptions as Dustin.

Is the water pipe connected to my neighbor's house?

A flash of doubt flashed through his mind, he didn't know what the structure of the water pipe was.

The water coming out of the tap became less and less, until it was completely blocked, which seriously hindered him from taking his first steps towards the kitchen god.

Ademisore made a joke in his mind, and then thought of a solution.

Go to that owners' committee and have a look? But now it's too late, and the other party should already be off work.

He decided to fix it himself.

This was not difficult for Ademisor, the faucet in the kitchen was similar to the construction in the previous life.

He went to the living room and took out the repair tool from the cabinet.

The water valve was turned off, and after some banging, the kitchen faucet was removed.

He leaned down and peered into the pipe.

In the dark pipes, nothing could be seen, but there was a faint rustling sound.

There is indeed something in it.

Ademisor thought for a moment, then turned back to the living room and turned on the water valve, the sound of gurgling water coming from the pipe.

Hurrying back to the kitchen, he saw a long strip of emerald green shoot out of the pipe.

"The storm is on top! What is this. ”

Startled, Ademisore subconsciously recited the prayer of the church, and immediately stared intently at the shadow.

A small half-meter-long emerald green snake hovers in the pool.

Its scales are drop-shaped and don't fit perfectly to the body, a bit like barbs.

There was no trace of emotion in the cold vertical pupils, and the scales on the head of the erect snake protruded, forming a crown.

The water flowed down the water pipe and poured on its body, splashing a splash, and the bright red snake hyacinth spat out of its mouth, which looked a little demonic.

The snake he had never seen, at least he had not seen in his "previous life", may be a creature unique to this world.

If you don't know what kind of snake it is, you can't be sure if it's aggressive, or even if it's venomous.

Out of an abundance of caution, Ademisore did not act rashly, he quietly exited the kitchen, turned off the water valve and picked up a crowbar.

He did not choose a pistol because he was afraid that if there was really any danger, the shooting would alarm the surrounding neighbors.

After all, his apparent identity is the club's senior manager, and the fact that he has a gun is really difficult to explain.

When he returned to the kitchen, the snake in the sink no longer held its head high, and its whole body was hovering around, showing a relaxed appearance.

Ademisor took a few steps closer, and the emerald green serpent's head immediately rose and emerged from the pool, its cold vertical pupils staring at him, spitting out letters, as if staring at its prey.

A few steps back, each step back the snake's head lowering a little, and by the time Ademisor retreated to the kitchen door, its entire body hovered in the pool again.

Is this treating the kitchen as your own turf?

Perhaps we should go to the municipalities that deal with wildlife.

But I don't know where to look, so maybe calling the police is a better option.

Immediately, Rex's face full of evil smirks suddenly flashed in his mind,

He remembered that when discussing Bier's case earlier, Rex had revealed that he would go to the police department to look through the files that were not classified if he had nothing to do.

He famously said: start from the subtleties and take the initiative to investigate cases that may have extraordinary power.

But the truth is, Rex has never found a case involving extraordinary powers.

Instead, he always used some of these interesting but not serious cases as a topic of small talk with his colleagues.

Ademisol believed that if he reported the crime today, it might not be a few days before the gossip that Mr. Fett was afraid of snakes and called the police would spread throughout the Violet Club.

A chill rose in his heart, and he quickly extinguished the idea of calling the police.

Isn't it just a little snake?

There's nothing to be afraid of, but I'm also an extraordinary Sequence 8 person.

With this thought in his heart, he walked out of the kitchen quickly, closed the door tightly, and whispered in a pretended light:

"The kitchen will be given to you, and we will not invade each other."
