If there is no text as an anchor, then once there is a change, let alone communication, and even the current scriptures will not be understood.

This is not alarmist either.

On the eastern shores of the Mediterranean, one sometimes finds ancient ruins written in strange letters and pens like wooden wedges. Some speculate that this is the text of the Persian Empire, which was destroyed by Alexander, in the records of the ancient Greeks.

However, now no one recognizes these things at all, not even the Persians themselves. Because of the Persian language in the Middle Ages, a new set of letters was changed, and as a result, the previous characters were forgotten......

Therefore, they believe that no matter what kind of classics they are, it is best to use Chinese characters as the original and record them in a unified manner. When it is necessary to use it, according to different dialects, convenient popular phonetic symbols are used to facilitate the explanation to believers.

Guo Kang actually felt that their theory did not stand up to scrutiny.

For example, because the pronunciation of parents is the same in different languages, it is said that they are all derived from Chinese, which is very far-fetched. This observation does not prove that "both Greek and Germanic languages are derived from ancient Chinese", but at most shows that "Greek, Germanic, and Chinese have a common origin". The rest is all forcible argumentation.

The popularity of their theories is not so much logical as it is in line with everyone's needs.

After all, in these years, if this "mother's birth" theory is used to prove that the Germanic language is a descendant of the Chinese language, the Han people feel that the education is all over the place, and the Germanic people feel that they have climbed the high branches, although it is very far-fetched, but everyone is very happy;

But if you argue that the Chinese language is a descendant of the Germanic language, then the Han people will think that this is an insult, and the Germanic people will only think that someone is deliberately sarcastic about him. If everyone doesn't like it, it won't be popular......

At first, Guo Kang thought it was ironic. But when I think about it, it's actually pretty good.

Although the theory does not conform to traditional teachings, and the understanding of linguistics is completely different from the results of modern research, not only is the purpose good, but also a lot of good things have been done when it is implemented. An organization like this, which is already rare, what more could you ask for......

The biggest problem is that although this theory has been widely circulated and a series of expositions have been completed, there are still two dark clouds that cannot be ignored although they are not big.

One of them was made by Guo Kang himself.

On a whim, he proposed to his father-in-law that some old Greek nobles who had nothing to do be sent to Crete for archaeology. As a result, the stepmother heard it and thought it was very interesting. Under the impetus of her and her grandfather, this matter actually came to pass.

As a result, over the years, the old nobles have really dug up some things one after another. Some ancient pottery shards have ancient letters that are completely unknown to them, and even the most knowledgeable scholars do not know what they mean.

At the moment, they can only estimate that this is a record left by people in an era earlier than the classical period. Only now, the Greeks have long since abandoned this way of writing, so no one still recognizes it.

On the island of Crete, according to Guo Kang's memory, it is really possible to find hieroglyphs, and then verify how hieroglyphs developed into alphabetic writing.

Their theory is that "only Chinese characters are regular scripts, and all other so-called scripts are phonetic codes", but if there was a separate script in ancient Egypt, this theory is not easy to explain.
