In ancient times, men did not have to farm, and women did not have to weave, because there were few people and sufficient resources, so it was difficult to have chaos, and the people did not have to fight.

However, today, there are many people but limited resources, and it is often difficult to exhaust enough to eat, so it is inevitable that there will be chaos and competition.

When Emperor Yao ruled the world, food and housing were too simple, and there was not much difference between the monarch and the people, so he was able to support him.

But today, the life of a noble slave is very different from that of the common people.

So don't say what kind of emperor he is, even the county order is reluctant to resign from authority.

The ancients despised wealth because there were plenty of resources, and there was little difference between competing and not.

Nowadays, people value rights, because resources are scarce, and if you don't fight for them, you won't have anything to eat.

Therefore, there is no change in human nature in ancient and modern times, only the difference between interests and systems.

Confucianism advocates following the ancient law, saying that if you want to govern the world, then the relationship between the monarch and the minister must be like that of father and son.

But if you say so, there will be no disputes between father and son in this world.

In this way, whether he is a good person or a bad person, he can naturally become a law-abiding person.

But now because of his merits, he is rewarded with official positions, but he despises him as an official.

Because he refused to be an official, he alienated him, but he admired him and disdained fame and fortune.

For those who have food and clothing without labor, praise him for his ability. For those who can obtain official positions without merit, praise him for his talent.

This kind of ability and talent will only lead to the decline of national strength and the desolation of the land.

Appreciating such a figure is bound to lose national strength.

This is the ideological concept of the general of the five beetles.

Because this article appeared 2,000 years ago, which coincided with a period of great schism, some of the ideas may be limited.

If you find it difficult to accept, it is either because the times have changed, or because the lecture is too thorough.

Confucianism used literature to disrupt the law, but it was allowed by the monarch.

The prosperity of the country depends on the peasants, but it gives a high status to the Confucian students who do not work.

Soldiers were needed to conquer the city, but they sent goods to the rangers.

The person who gets the benefit is not the person who wants to use the government, but the person who wants to use the government is not the person who gets the benefit.

So no one was engaged in agriculture and went to war in the army; On the contrary, all kinds of hypocrisy are prevalent, and it is bound to face decline.

For the people, there is no money to use, no power to rely on, so they can only advocate honesty.

But the monarch is different, he can use power to reward and punish clearly, so why seek any loyalty?

Besides, there are few loyal people today, but there are hundreds of officials needed to govern the country.

So the best way to do that is to enforce the rule of law.

As long as the rule of law is strict enough, he is honest enough.

Like those who open their mouths and speak well, the whole court is full of rhetoric; A few empty words can please the monarch, who will do a practical thing?

So you see, now every household has the code of Shang Jun, but the Qin State is getting poorer and poorer, the reason is that they are all talking about farming and no longer engage in hard farming.

Every household has a book of Sun and Wu's soldiers, but the army is getting weaker and weaker; The reason is that they are all talking about the art of war and no longer participate in the battle for their lives.

Therefore, Mingjun is good at using the power of the people and does not listen to those high-minded talks; Reward people for their merits and forbid useless words and deeds.

In this way, the people will contribute to the monarchy.

If farming brings abundance, then no matter how hard it is, there are people who will do it.

If serving in the army can bring dignitaries, then no matter how dangerous it is, there is no shortage of soldiers.

But now there are 100 people talking, and only one is working in the fields; 100 people are officers, and one person is instructed to fight.

Further down, 'Therefore, a democratic country has no books and simple texts, and the law is the teaching; There is no word of the first king, and the officials are the teachers; ’

This is the source of book burning.

It sounds brutal, but in fact it happened one after another in every dynasty.

What kind of emperor's technique is nothing more than a foolish people, a way to control the people.

The so-called Lianheng is to rely on strong countries to attack weak countries.

The so-called cooperation is to unite weak countries against strong countries.

But once it is connected, it is necessary to offer land or interests, and present the seal of the monarch to gain the trust of the powerful country.

But then the territory of the country will shrink, and the prestige of the monarch will continue to decrease, and before he has time to reap the benefits, he will already enter into chaos.

In the same way, once you go to the aid of a small country, you are going on a separate path.

Victory does not necessarily lead to benefits, and defeat leads to the destruction of the country.

It's not a good way out.

There are also unscrupulous traders who make crude utensils and accumulate huge wealth, and they are waiting to sell them at the same time, making huge profits from the toiling peasants.
