Chapter 354: Riot
It doesn't look or smell like a serious potion.
"It's like the kind of potion that makes the beast excited." Tonks muttered quietly, "What do they want to do?" β
Lupin shook his head, "You go back first and inform Harry." β
Tonks nodded obediently. She's not the kind of big-chested and brainless type, she can't touch either of these two words, although she really wants to be the first type of person, although Magus can also be transformed, but after all, it's magic, and she can't get past the level in her heart.
She craned up and slipped through the gap in the crowd.
In less than ten minutes, she was back again.
"Tonks?" Lupin lowered his voice, "What's going on?" β
"Locked in the shadow." Tonks shook his head.
Lupin frowned, raised his head, and just followed the head of the person in front of him, looking at two scales counterclockwise.
Tonks tugged at his hand, "Don't look, the spellcaster isn't here." β
"I just tried it, the level of the spellcaster is very high, I can't crack it, it has existed for a long time, at least half a year"
Lupin's brow furrowed even tighter.
"It's not like I didn't want to leave." Tonks continued, "But obviously I shouldn't be leaving right now. β
"Why?" Lupin asked her.
Tonks was right: "I am an Auror, and you are an ordinary citizen, although we are both comrades-in-arms of the Order of the Phoenix. But shouldn't the Aurors take it for granted to protect ordinary citizens? β
"I wish all the Aurors could be like you." Lupin laughed and teased, "But Tonks, it's dangerous to stay here." β
Tonks didn't speak, and raised his wand.
Cast the Transfiguration Spell.
Her body was erased like an eraser, and little by little.
"I can do that." Tonks said softly, "It's good if they can't see me?" β
Lupin tilted his head to the side with a strange expression: "Tonks, don't talk to your ear." β
"I'm just making it smaller." Tonks replied to him softly, the illusion spell unable to see her movements, only Lupin's head folded almost ninety degrees.
That's when it happened.
The moon rose and the weather was fine tonight, clear and cloudless, and it crept into the night naked.
At the moment when the moonlight fell.
The werewolves around them began to change physically.
The torso, limbs, and head began to twist and change viciously, and in the blink of an eye, they became werewolves.
Lupin didn't change, he drank the potions made by Harry and Snape, and the transformation time was delayed by more than an hour.
Bestiality erodes human nature.
The potion on the table, as they had expected, was not a potion to cure the wolf, and in the moonlight, its flames looked even more eerie, exuding a strange aroma.
After the transformation, the potions take effect, and they are affected.
His eyes were red, he smelled the scent, and he ran for Tonks, who had not yet transformed and was invisible with the illusion spell on the side.
Lupin's eyes were quick, and he waved his wand and cast a spell to block his breath.
Tonks refills him with an illusion charm.
The werewolves pounced and stared blankly in front of themβin their field of vision, it was empty, and they even subconsciously wanted to stay away from it, full of disgust for this small clearing.
They stay away.
Staring hatefully at the nearest werewolf, he let out a terrible howl, and then, without hesitation, pounced on it, waving his claws and biting it.
"Werewolf, I mean, are all werewolves except you like this after they transform?" Tonks looked at them, his little face pale.
Lupin shook his head: "No." β
"Although werewolves lose their brains after transforming, they are not indistinguishable from their kind."
Lupin had no experience of transforming with other werewolves, but he had heard that werewolves would not attack each other when they got together to transform - wolves were social animals, and so were werewolves.
"Is it the effect of that potion?" Tonks raised his wand.
Boom -
A stone shot out quickly, shattering the bottle, splashing glass and half-filled liquid to the ground, and the flames were still burning.
Not even the bottle was fixed, but the smell was more intense.
Clear water like a spring!
Tonks waved his wand again.
The water gushed out, through the wrestling, fighting wolves, and fell on the potion, and with a snort, a milky white mist swelled up, and the flame was extinguished, except for the color, it seemed to be no different from ordinary flames.
It's just that
The flame is extinguished, but the potion is still in effect.
The werewolves fight each other, ferociously and viciously, without any change.
"So the Death Eaters' conspiracy is to have these werewolves fight each other?" Tonks tilted her head, and the werewolves were fighting fiercely, but by Lupin's side, she was not so afraid, "Why do you want Harry to know?" β
Harry guessed it was a bargaining chip to lure him and Dumbledore out of Hogwarts. Lupin replied softly.
Tonks smiled lightly and was about to say something more.
"Oh no"
"Help!"
A terrible and helpless wail rang out.
The light of several obstacle spells flickered.
Lupin and Tonks were stunned, they turned their heads to catch each other's gaze, but under the illusion spell, they couldn't see each other.
"There are others but us." Tonks said in an anxious tone, "We'll have to go over and have a look." β
Lupin responded: "Of course. β
He paused slightly: "Grab my sleeve." β
Tonks reached over and groped generously, then grabbed his hand.
"I mean the sleeves." Lupin was stunned for a moment, and re-emphasized.
Reluctantly, Tonks moved his hand down and grabbed the tiny corner of his sleeve.
The two of them hurried over.
The call for help was a middle-aged man in his mid-forties, who waved his wand, alternating between the Barrier Charm and the Transfiguration Charm, blocking the werewolves who pounced on him - he was lucky, perhaps because when he first blended in, he was cowering in a corner, not very noticeable, and only two werewolves pounced on him.
He could barely stop it now.
Can.
It was visible to the naked eye that his spell was getting weaker and weaker.
Maybe next time, the werewolf's claws will be able to pierce his skin.
"There are many obstacles!" Tonks didn't hesitate and flicked his wand.
The spell shot out and was attached to the werewolf, and her spell was more powerful than the one used by this man, and the huge impact made the werewolf stagger back several steps.
Lupin waved his wand, no origin.
In the state of the illusion spell, the spell is cast silently, which is not very useful in the duel of the top wizards - everyone can capture the magic or counter the illusion spell, but this technique can be extremely useful against this group of werewolves who have no intelligence, and even have an extra layer of dementia.
The werewolves didn't even react, the air was so good at unleashing magic like a wizard.
The two werewolves who were harassing the middle-aged man were immediately bound by iron chains, hung high, and thrown into the werewolf pile.
Lupin also recited several cutting spells to one end, barely tearing a small wound on the werewolf's skin.
The smell of blood irritates the manic werewolves even more.
