Chapter 444: Escape

Heavy snow covers the world, and almost everything is shrouded in a dark and dreary atmosphere.

"Lord Arridin." One of the Hunt Knights spoke, "We're here. โ€

Voldemort nodded, "I see." โ€

He stood at the bow of the boat and looked down.

It was like a black reef, firmly rooted in the white ocean.

There were no guards in Newmongard.

But the door was open.

Even as the ship descended, a red carpet rolled out of the old, abandoned castle, only to be covered in snow in a short time.

Voldemort noticed.

"You're stationed here." He opened his mouth and commanded the hunters, "I'll go see him." โ€

The Wild Hunters were silent.

They didn't dare to disobey Aritin, not to mention, after today, they could all feel the great changes that had taken place in Aredin's body - his personality became more obedient, and even branded strange totems on them, each of which was marked by Aredin's own hands.

Voldemort flew off the ship and stepped into Newmondard alone.

He wasn't afraid of Grindelwald - others admitted that he was a Dark Wizard even greater than Grindelwald.

Especially now that I've become stronger.

He walked down the red carpet.

Poofโ€”

The oil lamps followed his footsteps, one by one, and they were lit with a bang.

To the depths, in the magnificent halls.

Grindelwald sat at the other end of the long table: "Welcome, Voldemort." โ€

"You know I'm coming?" Voldemort walked over to the long table, his hand lightly on the table, raised an eyebrow, and looked at him playfully.

Grindelwald's eyes were deep: "You should have heard that I have a pair of heavenly eyes. โ€

"Then I should admire your courage." Voldemort whispered, "I still have to admire your faith." โ€

"Since you knew I was coming, you still stay here."

Grindelwald shook his head: "What keeps me here is not courage, not faith, but love." โ€

Voldemort's facial features were slightly distorted.

This tone of speech reminded him of Dumbledore, the man who had made him physiologically stressed.

"Love?" Voldemort scoffed: "Ridiculous. โ€

He raised his hand and waved it slightly.

Cast a Transfiguration Charm on the chair next to him, and it transforms into a more ornate one.

Voldemort then sat down, arrogant and dignified: "Mr. Grindelwald, I now allow you another chance to choose." โ€

With a flick of his right hand, he spewed out the Dark Mark under the ceiling.

"Accept my kindness and be my friend."

"Or death."

Grindelwald couldn't hold back and laughed: "You know what? I once tried to see my future with Tianmu. โ€

"Before you were defeated by Harry."

Voldemort's face sank.

The second thing he hated the most was also mentioned by Grindelwald.

"Can you guess what kind of ending I saw at the time?" Grindelwald asked.

Voldemort whispered, "If you disobey me, you will be killed." โ€

Grindelwald nodded: "That's right. โ€

"In that future, I was killed by you, effortlessly."

He looked at Voldemort, still laughing.

Of course he understood what was going on in that future.

Being imprisoned in Newmond Gardrry did not wear down his spell-casting ability, even if it was not as powerful as before, and he was not easily pinched to death by Voldemort like a little chick.

But in that future, he had no hope or motivation to live.

Dumbledore is dead.

Of course, the reality of the moment is completely different from the future peeping into the sky, Dumbledore is still alive and alive.

Voldemort's face softened and became more pleasant, "Well, your choice is to be my friend, right?" โ€

He raised his hand, and the magic condensed.

Just wait for Grindelwald to raise his left arm.

Grindelwald shook his head decisively: "No, it is impossible for me to obey you. โ€

Voldemort's face turned cold: "It seems that you are killing yourself." โ€

The magic is surging.

The hoarfrost poured out of its nest and pounced on Grindelwald in a crushing manner.

Grindelwald tapped his fingers on the table.

The long table suddenly turned into a huge pocket, enveloping the whole of the hoarfrost, but even the steel, under the power of the hoarfrost, seemed small, and with a snort, the hoarfrost squeezed free of its restraints and continued to smash it violently.

Again, there is no wand.

Grindelwald was a little overwhelmed by Voldemort's attack.

He was able to hold on and not be taken down by Voldemort.

But all that can be done is to barely protect yourself.

He'd been in Newmond for decades, and as he got older, his magic level had regressed.

And Voldemort

He didn't really need a wand, part of his body was made of wands. Not having a wand was not a disadvantage for him, and the elemental body of hoarfrost gave him more freedom.

Voldemort sneered after a few temptations: "Grindelwald, I thought you would have something to do with me if you stayed." โ€

"Is that the result?"

"That's not the Dark Lord."

Grindelwald dodged the hoarfrost and shook his head, "No, I've never been called the Dark Lord. โ€

Voldemort raised his hands.

The hoarfrost is even more turbulent.

"Now I'll give you a chance."

"Grindelwald."

"Tell me where the Elder Wand is, and I can spare your life."

"So that you can enjoy your old age in Newmond Cadrian."

Grindelwald entangled, and the white frost pounced, wrapping around his arm: "Voldemort, you are not destined to get it." โ€

Voldemort clenched his right hand into a fist.

The force with which the hoarfrost wrapped around Grindelwald's arm increased.

"Although you are disgusting." In the midst of the crisis, Grindelwald was not at all flustered, he laughed, just like Dumbledore had done when he took Harry to visit Newmondard that day, "But at this moment, Tom Riddle, I still have to say thank you to you." โ€

Thank you?

The inexplicable words made Voldemort stunned.

He has a lot of ideas.

Could it be that all these years, Grindelwald has been preparing something, like he was resurrected with Hogwarts, what he saw with his heavenly eyes, and then waited for himself to come to the door, and obtained more power through himself?

On Grindelwald's left hand, a faint wave of magic power emanated.

Voldemort looked.

It's a ring.

And the magic fluctuations that emanated, he was familiar with, it was not any oath or powerful spell, it was just a portkey.

"Goodbye, Voldemort."

Grindelwald greeted cheerfully.

His stomach hooked, swirled and disappeared.

Voldemort's face was gloomy.

Escaped?

After only a few fights, he actually escaped?

Dignified Grindelwald, actually escaped?

"Good." Voldemort took a deep breath, gritting his teeth, "I'd like to see where you can escape." โ€

Hoarfrost is a part of his body.

He can track hoarfrost.
