Chapter 24: Rapid Growth
As the Christmas break draws to a close, Kano chooses to go back to school on the last day of the holiday.
He straightened his appearance in the dressing mirror, and finally took the Hogwarts robe from Kreacher's hand and put it on his body.
However, he immediately noticed that something was wrong, the hem of the robe, which was still at the ankle before the holiday, was now at the end of the calf.
When he first entered the school, this school robe was dragged on the foot, and in just two months, Kano actually grew more than ten centimeters.
"Little master, maybe you grow up faster, after all, children always change every day."
Kreacher comforted Kano, but Kano himself frowned.
The heroes of Celtic culture basically have one characteristic, that is, they grow extremely fast. Although it cannot be said that it grows when it sees the wind, it is also generally different from ordinary people.
When they are strong and proficient in martial arts, fate will bring them challenges.
"Maybe my challenge is coming soon." Kano muttered to himself and boarded the Hogwarts Express.
Speechless all the way, when he saw the warm castle lights in the night again, Kano couldn't help but pull out his wand and set off a golden-red firework.
Several heads appeared to be visible from the windows of the Gryffindor Tower, and they also released a few fireworks in response.
When Kano returned to the common room, Harry and Ron immediately stepped up to greet him.
"The Christmas present is fantastic, Kano." Ron patted him on the shoulder, "I'm killing him with that move." â
"Duke Bee is such a magical shop, I never knew there were so many delicious magic candies." Harry also expressed his gratitude.
"You'll naturally know more about it in the future, and there are quite a few interesting things in the wizarding world."
After a few people exchanged pleasantries, Harry mysteriously took out a robe that looked like a silver fluid and placed it in Kano's hand.
"I don't know who sent it to me, it's said to be my father's relic." Harry patted his robe, "Ron said it's the Cloak of Invisibility. â
Kano held the cloak of invisibility, the deathly holy weapon inherited by the Peverell family, and slowly infiltrated the magic power.
Druids are not only about protecting nature, but also about creating a connection between humans and nature, making it easier for humans to survive in this harsh world.
Therefore, the druids also make magical items, such as sacred trees, mistletoe, and special rocks.
However, as long as it is a magic item that is made, there will definitely be traces of artificiality, even if it is made by a druid, it cannot be avoided.
However, the invisibility cloak in Kano's hand gave him the feeling of being natural. He couldn't even parse its ingredients, let alone understand how it worked.
Legend has it that this garment is the cloak of the Grim Reaper, and perhaps it really has something to do with the gods.
But the time of the gods is long gone, and even if the druids could still draw on their powers, they are long gone.
"It's a magical treasure, Harry, and you have to keep it." Kano returned the Cloak of Invisibility to Harry, who solemnly put it away.
"Of course I'll keep it, after all, it's my father's relic."
Kano and Ron looked at each other, smiling and shaking their heads.
Growing up in a world of ordinary people, Harry couldn't understand the preciousness of the cloak, but he cherished everything his parents left him.
Soon after, Hermione also returned to school. The three little ones were talking mysteriously, and Kano was too busy making his bed to get up.
If memory serves, is it about the Mirror of Eris?
That mirror can reflect what the human heart desires most, and many people die of hunger and thirst in front of the mirror. But after all, everything is a flash in the pan, and indulging in it will not bring any change to reality.
What does Kano see in the mirror? He didn't know either. Maybe it's the smiling face of the little girl in his previous life when he was rescued, maybe it's the parents he has never seen in this life, or maybe it's the people in the fairy country who took care of him and grew up?
Kano didn't know what he longed for the most, he just wanted to fulfill his destiny as soon as possible and give his parents a little comfort to his long-deceased parents.
A few days later, in the early morning, on the shores of the black lake covered with thick fog. The two knights, cloaked in their bodies and riding on warhorses, once again charged at each other with their spears raised.
The smaller knight struggled to twist his waist as his opponent's rifle was about to stab him. A powerful spear grazed his flank, and the tall knight on the opposite side lost his strength and leaned forward.
The little knight's spear was directly pressed into the opponent's abdomen, knocking him off his horse. He pointed his spear condescendingly at his fallen opponent and unveiled his own armor.
"Owen, did you release the water?"
The knight who fell to the ground stood up with some difficulty, uncovered his visor and spat out.
"Kano, your strength has grown. Last time you dodged my sprint, you didn't have enough strength to knock me off the horse. â
Owen drew his sword, set up his shield, and motioned for Kano to dismount and fight.
Owen took a conservative fighting strategy. He hid his body behind his shield and drew his sword in between Kano's attacks, slowly accumulating wounds on Kano's body.
But Kano wanted to test his strength, wielding his heavy oak sword and slashing at Owen's shield one after another, slashing the family crest on the shield to pieces.
Eventually, before Kano could lose blood, Owen was slashed to his knees by his powerful sword, and his tight defenses were breached.
Kano slammed the sword that was on the edge of Owen's shield forward, and the sword went down Owen's neck and deep into his body, piercing through his entire ribcage.
Owen's body turned into a thick fog again, and after a while, he walked out of the fog again in his regular clothes.
"Good boy, you beat me."
Kano was now connected to the earth through vines, one end of which was deep into his gut and the other connected to the ground.
His pale complexion, from blood loss, gradually recovered, and the sickly lethargy disappeared.
Kano then stood up and shook his head at a happy Owen.
"It's just that I have taken advantage of the increase in strength, and my riding and swordsmanship have not been able to surpass you."
Owen laughed and patted Kano on the shoulder, "What are you thinking?" As long as you are human, you are good at it and what you are not good at. Except for that guy from Lancelot, who can guarantee that he is an all-rounder. â
"Moreover, after I am defeated, it is natural that there will be more powerful Knights of the Round Table to fight you. You'll learn from their experience and keep improving. â
"And when will I be able to upgrade to a real knight?" Kano asked.
"At your growth rate, next year, next year." Owen still chooses to perfunctory the past, and there are some things that everyone still tacitly agrees not to tell Kano.
You'll understand when you're older. jpgã
"At least tell me who's going to play with me tomorrow?" Kano asked helplessly.
"It's not too much worse than mine, we don't want to leave any shadow on you." Owen comforted Kano, "But that's the day after tomorrow, tomorrow... How's your magic going? â
"My mother seems to have said that someone is going to send someone to test you for magic tomorrow. You'd better be prepared, after all, she never knew what moderation was. â
Kano's face turned pale again, Morgan's "love" is not something ordinary people can bear.
