Chapter XXXVII
Harry fainted, and a golden-red fire flashed through the room.
Dumbledore emerges from the firelight, along with a large beautiful bird. He nodded to Kano and bent down to pick up the unconscious Harry.
"How's it going, Kano, do you see it?"
"As expected, Headmaster. Let's send Harry back first. ”
The Headmaster took Kano back to the school infirmary using the power of Phoenix Fawkes, and Madam Pomfrey saw a somewhat embarrassed Kano and an unconscious Harry, and hurriedly stepped forward.
"Put him down, just this bed!"
Madam Pomfrey checked Harry's condition, and then Kano again. After making sure that there was nothing wrong with either of them, she closed the curtain and forbade anyone to visit.
Kano looked at the white roof in a daze, just now he saw Voldemort's "soul" flying away out of thin air, and he saw a little bit of his current state.
Voldemort's soul was broken, there's no denying that.
In Carno's vision of life, Voldemort's soul was now disemboweled, and his skull was opened. His internal organs and brain were gone, and his whole soul was wrapped in the breath of hell, but he didn't just fall into hell.
Is it because of Horcruxes? Horcruxes are immortal, souls are immortal?
Kano felt the need to search for information about the Horcrux and find the link between this magical item and Hell.
A day passed, and the heroic deeds of Harry's trio suddenly spread at Hogwarts. However, in this version of the story, Voldemort's presence is hidden.
Harry and the others learn of the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone, and Quirrell, the ill-intentioned Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, wants to steal it.
The trio overcame the blockade set up by the professors, and it was Harry who stopped Quirrell's theft.
"Seriously, it's not fair." Ron had two chicken legs in his mouth, "Obviously Kano you are..."
"Shh Cano motioned for Ron not to say this at the table, and cut the steak slowly.
Kano's involvement was also completely hidden, an opinion shared by both Kano and Dumbledore.
Voldemort was still too weak to summon his former servants in this state, so Kano still had time to develop.
He was going to keep himself out of the Death Eaters' sights, and leave the business to Harry.
"What's your holiday schedule?" Kano changed the subject.
"I'm going home and being with my grandma." Neville took two more bites of beef, "As always, very boring. ”
"Maybe our family will travel abroad? Who knows. "Hermione's parents were both dentists and were standard upper-class people in this country.
"You know the situation in our family, Kano." Ron had a chicken leg in his hand and elbowed Kano against him.
"You go to visit early, I can still have a good meal at home."
Kano nodded, thinking about when to go to his relatives.
On the third day, Harry finally woke up.
The news swept through the school like a whirlwind, and Harry's admirers crowded the hallways.
Then they were all driven away by Madam Pomfrey.
"You little children! If you come to the school hospital again to make a noise, every sip of potion you drink at school in the future will make you cry bitterly! ”
The students scattered, fearing that they would be remembered by Madam Pomfrey.
Only Carno, Hermione, and Ron were allowed inside to visit.
"Five minutes!"
Madam Pomfrey held out a hand and put the three inside.
"Harry, you're awake!" Hermione and Ron eagerly shook Harry's hands, and Kano stood aside with a smile.
"Thank you, we did it." Harry happily squeezed his best friend's hand.
He then turned to Kano: "Voldemort, he's not dead. ”
"He's not dead, I see it." Kano nodded.
"I still have a chance to avenge my parents with my own hands?"
"Of course, try to grow up, Harry." Kano encouraged him.
In the last days of the school year, Kano saw Dumbledore again. In the Headmaster's room, Dumbledore had a plate of plum candy in front of him, stuffing it into his mouth one by one.
"Kano, this is the candy you recommended, try it."
Kano took a piece and put it in his mouth, and it tasted good.
Dumbledore touched his beard and said, "I've looked up the state of Voldemort that you told me. ”
"I suspect he made Horcruxes."
Dumbledore's blue eyes looked at Kano behind the lenses, and Kano nodded.
"This is what my prophecy is like."
Kano has no intention of concealing it, and this kind of information is better than soon as it is said. As for why he didn't tell Dumbledore all in the first place, it was because Kano himself was worried that the information he knew would be different from reality.
Only if he saw it with his own eyes, and was confirmed by Dumbledore, would he be sure that the information was reliable.
"Headmaster, are there any books on Horcruxes, I'd like to know about them." Kano made his request, and Dumbledore frowned.
"It's too early, you're still a child." Dumbledore shook his head, "In two years, I'll teach you this." ”
Kano nodded, he did need time.
He remembered a few Horcruxes well, but he couldn't remember where they were.
After all, he used to be a pure Chinese and did not know anything about British geography. This county, that county, who knows where.
What he remembered more clearly was the location of the diary, the locket, the crown and the golden cup.
But it doesn't matter, in the original book Harry was able to destroy Horcruxes, and there is no reason why he can't find them under Dumbledore's control this time.
"Alright, Kano. It may take us years to find a Horcrux, so there's no need to rush now. Dumbledore ate another piece of candy, "What's your holiday planned?" ”
"I'm going to go sightseeing, a trip to Cornwall in the summer, and a visit to Weasley near the start of the semester." Kano spread his hands.
During practice this morning, the knight who was his opponent brought him a message. Merlin said he was given a trip to Cornwall during the holidays, where someone was waiting for him.
Kano naturally did not object, probably there was the resentment of the former warriors wandering over there. Voldemort's matter is not urgent, and he certainly can't let go of Mordred's matter.
Dumbledore suddenly spoke, "Nicolamay has heard of your existence, and he wants to see you. ”
"Uh, isn't Mr. Nicolamay going to die?" Kano asked curiously.
Nicolame and his wife had lived far too long and were feeling physically and mentally exhausted. They lent the Philosopher's Stone to Dumbledore as bait, and this year they were going to destroy it and get a peaceful death.
They had faked their deaths many times, but this time they seemed serious.
"Nicol is indeed dying, the Philosopher's Stone has been destroyed, and his knowledge has been passed on to his apprentices." Dumbledore nodded, "However, they heard that you are a now-extinct druid, and they want to invite you to their funeral. ”
"Probably in the next semester, you're going to have to take a few days off."
