Chapter Fifty-Nine: The Bloody Battle of the Horses
Kano closed his eyes tightly, his vision of life widened, and a large, infernal figure swam swiftly towards him.
The robes on his body turned into armor, and the small unicorn underneath him was also covered.
Kano took the bow and arrows in his hand, and mounted two arrows, and the mighty magic began to wrap around it.
His aura blended in with the environment, Dumbledore had extinguished his wand, and Kano was going to make an ambush and destroy the basilisk's eyes first.
The basilisk poked its head out of the statue's hole, its triangular head struggling through the hole.
At this moment, two magical armor-piercing arrows shot out at the same time, heading straight for the basilisk's eyes.
Before the basilisk could react, two arrows had already sliced directly into its eyeballs, exploding into fragments within the eyeballs.
Kano immediately fled as soon as he struck a blow, and the basilisk, stimulated by the sharp pain, rushed out of the statue's hole, twisted his body violently, and made a mess in the square.
But soon, the basilisk broke free from the pain and began to wander the square frantically, sticking out its tongue in search of Kano who had hurt it.
"Snakes have poor eyesight and hearing, but they can capture scent molecules through the tip of their tongue and feel infrared rays emitted by living organisms."
"There must be differences between basilisks and snakes, such as their eyesight. But in other respects, perhaps there is not much difference between the two. ”
Information on the basilisk is very scarce, and Kano can only speculate about the characteristics of the basilisk from the habits of the snakes.
Just as Kano fired a third arrow straight into the basilisk's half-open mouth, the basilisk jerked its head, and the arrow struck him in the side of his face, sending a string of sparks into his face.
The basilisk grinned grimly and headed straight in the direction of Kano.
Kano knew that his position had been revealed, and the little unicorn under him had a heart-to-heart connection with him, and immediately began to run quickly.
Kano tirelessly drew his bow and shot arrows, constantly attacking the basilisk's many vital points.
However, the basilisk's thick skin can't be shot through, and the basilisk is trying to surround Kano and the little unicorn with its massive body.
With no other choice, Kano drew his oak sword and struck at the basilisk in the middle.
The oak sword was so sharp that it cut through the basilisk's thick skin in one fell swoop. The basilisk rolled in pain, sticking its head over and biting hard.
Kano threw his spear directly and stabbed it in the face of the basilisk. Although the basilisk was not seriously injured, he still hid his head in fear.
The little unicorn jumped deftly and landed directly on the basilisk.
Kano urged the armor on the little unicorn, and wooden spikes grew directly under his four hooves, nailed into the basilisk's flesh.
A man and a horse began to run on the basilisk's body, and no matter how the basilisk rolled, the little unicorn could stand firmly on its body and not be crushed under it.
Kano tilted his body, and the oak sword stabbed directly into the basilisk's flesh, slicing through the basilisk as the little unicorn ran.
Fishy blood gushed out, and the basilisk opened its mouth wide in pain.
After tossing and turning for a while in the middle and early part of the snake, the stinky snake blood flowed into a small pool, and the basilisk was still struggling, and it seemed that Kano would not be able to find its heart for a while.
"Go, move forward along the body!"
Kano rode the little unicorn directly above the basilisk's head and stabbed the basilisk in the neck with his oak sword held high.
The basilisk let out a roar, and its strength soared to throw the little unicorn out, and the wounds on his body began to burst into a thick black mist, and even Dumbledore, who was watching the battle, frowned.
"It's a strong hellish smell." Kano moved away from the basilisk alertly, and he noticed that the basilisk's body was rapidly drying up, as if it had been hollowed out of it.
The black mist suddenly dissipated, and what remained in place was a strange thing more than three meters tall, with a snake-headed human body and a spear in hand.
There was no light of wisdom in his eyes, and his mouth was still spitting snake letters, and he rushed straight at Kano.
Kano picked up the spear on the ground and fought him fearlessly. Kano discovered that the spear in the hand of the snake-headed man was condensed from the basilisk backbone.
"Kano, be careful, he could be Maihan!" Dumbledore's voice rang in Kano's ears, and Kano's heart sank, and the force in his hand increased again.
Maihan was one of the ancient Egyptian gods and the guardian of the sun god Ra. The one in front of him is obviously not a god, but his image is indeed exactly the same as that of Mehan in Egyptian mythology.
While Kano was thinking, Mehan slashed down with a spear, and Kano hurriedly raised his rifle to block.
However, an eye-shaped rune suddenly appeared on the body of Maihan's spear, and a strong infernal aura gushed out of it, spraying Kano all over his face.
Kano was caught off guard, his vision was deprived in an instant, and even his vision of life was dark.
The little unicorn immediately fled with Kano, but Mehan was in hot pursuit.
This move is comparable to the sight of a basilisk, if it weren't for Kano's own resistance superman, he would have turned into a dried corpse just now.
But things weren't much better, and Kano could feel that Maihan's spear was grazing his body, and it was up to the little unicorn to dodge the attack.
Standing in the shadows, Dumbledore had raised his wand, ready to cast the spell at any moment.
However, Kano did not give up, he took out a handful of seeds from his bosom and sprinkled them on the ground, this time growing lavender with a light fragrance.
Soon, Kano stopped and resumed his fight with Mehan.
The scent of lavender was faint, and Maihan had the fishy smell of basilisk blood. Relying on strong contrasts and a sense of the wind, Kano can roughly determine his opponent's movements.
After a few rounds, Kano sensed that his opponent was ready to repeat his old move.
He had no intelligence, and seemed to think that the reason why he didn't kill Kano directly just now was because he didn't use enough power.
But Kano will not be cursed to death by the breath of hell at all, at most he will be temporarily blind, and Kano is secretly prepared.
The spear slashed again, and Kano held it with his riding spear.
Eye-like runes resurfaced. At this moment, Kano stretched out his right hand and picked up the oak sword, and stood up directly on the back of the little unicorn.
A faint silver light wrapped around the blade, and Kano clenched the sword in his hand, and slammed it from the bottom up, and the long sword pierced into Mehan's chest and abdomen, leaving only the hilt outside.
Maihan staggered back a few steps and fell to the ground twitching, blood flowing from his orifices.
Kano breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the floor.
Even the little unicorn was tired enough to choke, lying in the lavender bushes, tilting its head and panting for breath.
The oak sword silently absorbed the infernal breath on Maihan's body, and the lines outlined by Arthur's blood on the sword continued to flicker.
There was a feeling of fullness in Kano's body, and something was gradually germinating.
Forced to see Mehan's body disintegrate little by little, turning into flying ashes, Kano couldn't stand it anymore.
He lay limply on the ground and saw Dumbledore walking towards him.
"Headmaster, take me to the Black Lake."
Dumbledore nodded, and Kano closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
