Chapter Ninety-Four: Stalking Personnel
Kano's life was back on track, and he continued to hone his martial arts and magic while he waited for the start of school on September 1st.
However, a peaceful life is always easy to end, and one day, a wizard appeared at the gates of Kano.
"It's hot, isn't it?" The wizard with short gray hair greeted Kano in a stiff tone, and Kano had no intention of opening the door at all.
"Who are you, what's the matter?"
"I'm Delix, an Auror of the Ministry of Magic." Dlux straightened his back, "I came here on official business, please cooperate with the inquiry." β
Kano pouted, Sirius escaped from prison, and it made sense for the Ministry of Magic to set its sights on itself.
"Sirius. Did Blake contact you after he broke from prison? Dlux sat down on the couch, took out his paper and began to ask questions.
"Nope."
"Where have you been and what have you done since you were on vacation?"
"I went to Stirling County and cut down thirty or so werewolves who ate human flesh." Kano knows it all.
Delix's eyebrows furrowed.
"Please don't use your imagination to distract the inquiry."
"How do you know it's a fantasy?" Kano interrupted him unhappily.
"Because the traces on your body have never responded, which means that you have never used magic."
"You know it all so well, why bother asking me?" Kano stretched out his hand and pointed outside, "The door is over there, don't send it." β
"I must warn you, Canopus. Mr. Black, you are not in a good position right now. Delix's expression seemed to turn sinister.
"I don't need you to remind you that I didn't help Sirius escape from prison. If you still can't trust anyone to leave Azkaban without help, then be sure to find a scapegoat..."
"I advise you to choose carefully."
Kano pointed to the door for the second time: "Get out, Fudge's dog is not welcome here." β
"If you insist, I mustβ" Dlux stood up and wanted to say something.
The light in the room flashed, and Delix was directly knocked out of the door and rolled on the ground in embarrassment.
Kano had just performed a directional eruption with mana, which was very basic and inefficient in the use of mana.
But the beauty of this is that the Ministry of Magic can't tell that the little wizard did it on purpose, because it's all too normal for the little wizard to be unable to control the magic.
I'm just a helpless second-year wizard (laughs).
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" Kano stood at the window, not at all meaning to come out.
Dlux got up from the ground and looked at Kano viciously.
"I suggest you go to Fudge and ask if he can withstand the impeachment of a dozen pure-blood families."
"If he thinks I can't do it, or if he's stiff enough, then he can try."
"Get out!"
Kano closed the window directly, and by the way, turned on the house's defensive magic.
Azkaban is on an island in the North Sea, where no one knows the exact location, and it is full of Dementors who can absorb people's pleasure and souls.
It can be said that it is almost impossible to silently escape from prison and invade prison to save people.
And in everyone's opinion, there is no reason for Kano to take the risk of saving a man who was expelled from the family tree more than a decade ago.
Fudge was aware of these situations, but as a bureaucrat, he instinctively wanted to shift the blame for Azkaban's escape.
It's okay for everyone to attack anyone, but you can't let people attack themselves.
So, he tentatively threw the pot at Kano's head. If Kano shows a little bit of backing down today, tomorrow a charge of aiding in the escape will fly into the air.
Then the Daily Prophet would begin to discredit Kano at Fudge's behest.
Don't want to take on this charge? It's okay, there is no evidence in the first place. But you can't get some gold galleons up and down?
In the original book, wasn't Lucius just bluffed and deceived and took away a lot of money?
Fudge is a man who does things like a pig and has no brains, and only when he defends his rights and makes money, he will turn from a pig into a vicious dog.
From this day on, Dlux began to appear in the neighborhood hauntingly.
He wouldn't disturb Kano's life, he just stared with two eyes, and he didn't dare to run to Harry's side, probably because Fudge had told him to.
Kano's response was simple and brutal, and as soon as Delix and his eyes were met, he would send Klicher to secretly give him a stun spell.
When Dlux was unconscious, Kreacher would strip off his clothes and fold them neatly, leaving only a pair of underwear to wear on him.
As a house-elf, Kreacher doesn't need a wand to cast spells, and he can't even use a flashback charm to find evidence afterwards.
Every time, Delix's eyes were black, and when he woke up, he was already in the detention cell of the police station.
After being caught in the bureau a few times by the police, he finally learned to keep his eyebrows down and pleasing his eyes.
No way, who let him be a dog and provoke Kano?
Too lazy to go out again to stimulate Fudge, Kano began to study the vial of blood from Cromwell.
Werewolves reproduce mainly by biting wizards, who have toxins in their saliva and blood, and if bitten wizards are not treated in time, they will become werewolves.
When the werewolf is full moon, it will transform uncontrollably and attack the humans around it frantically, which is called mad wolfism.
However, they do not attack animals in this state, so when the werewolf Lupin transforms, his friends will take the form of Animagus to accompany him.
In this way, werewolves are like a contagion, and it is a miracle that Cromwell survived without treatment and never became a werewolf.
Does the werewolf virus exist in his body?
exists, he will still respond to the howls of werewolves during the full moon, and will also experience various symptoms of discomfort on his body.
Then why didn't he end up turning into a werewolf?
Maybe it's because the weak magic in the Squib's body is not enough to support the werewolf transformation, which is Kano's original conjecture.
But in fact, apart from his usual love of eating bloody beef, Cromwell did not show the slightest sign of werewolf even on the night of the full moon.
Not to mention the tail, not even the hair has grown more.
Could it be that he is really immune to the werewolf virus and has antibodies in his blood?
If so, Kano may be able to work out a way to suppress the werewolf's transformation.
On the one hand, it can bring good news to good werewolves.
On the other hand, depriving people like Greyback of their ability to transform as werewolves is the most terrible punishment for them.
Of course, Cromwell's blood sample alone can't be studied, and Kano needs the blood of a real werewolf to compare the two in the moonlight.
Isn't there a werewolf professor this year? Sirius's good brother, Remus. Lupin.
For the sake of the werewolves' future, let him donate some blood is not too much.
Ragged Remus. Lupin shivered inexplicably on the hard bed.
