Chapter 16: The Forbidden Forest and the Unicorn
Moments later, Professor McGonagall arrived.
"How dare you ββ!"
"What the hell are you guys up to?!"
Harry swore he had never seen such an angry Professor McGonagall.
Her lips turned white, and even the normally serious Professor McGonagall had a look of surprise and rejoicing, but more anger on her face.
Turning her gaze on the three little ones who didn't dare to look up, her voice was cold and angry, "Why don't you stay in the dormitory honestly!" β
The three little ones are also very aggrieved, especially Ron, who still thinks he is a hero, at least he can bring 50 points to Gryffindor.
But Professor McGonagall's face told him that he was lucky not to be deducted points today.
Hermione stood up for her friend's sake, "Please don't do this Professor McGonagall, they're looking for me." β
Eye-to-eye with Professor McGonagall, Hermione lied to her teacher for the first time.
"I'm looking for trolls because I'm ...... I thought I would be able to deal with it on my own, you know, because I read about them in books and know them well. β
"If they hadn't found me, I'd be dead by now, they didn't have time to find someone, the troll was about to swallow me before they arrived, John lured the troll away, and Harry and Ron saved me."
Hermione stood up to Harry and Ron's surprise, and at the same time felt a warm heart.
No one doesn't like friends who take care of everything on their own, and even Ron, who had an opinion about Hermione, has now let go of his prejudices.
Professor McGonagall was pleased to see Hermione taking on everything for her friends, and friendship was the noblest quality of Gryffindor.
But it was clear that Miss Jack-of-all-trades had forgotten something, and even though she tried her best to make up lies to take all the blame, Professor McGonagall was not a fool.
"You mean....... John Wick killed the trolls?"
I glanced at the mess, and in addition to the troll's fallen fingers, there was blood splattering across the walls and a sword stuck in the ceiling.
Even Professor McGonagall was stunned by the sight.
She didn't think the little wizards could do that, at least not the three Gryffindors.
Turning his gaze to John, who was pretending to be a dead fish, Professor McGonagall pursed her pursed lips solemnly, "Mr. Wick, what do you have to say?" β
"Ahem, Professor McGonagall, there's a reason for all of this...... Well, I did it. β
John tried to explain, but Professor McGonagall's death review made him think it was better to be honest.
"God, I can't believe a wizard as small as you killed a troll."
Professor McGonagall saw that he had admitted it, and was incredulous.
Even if you are an adult wizard, it is difficult to defeat the troll without a special method.
And John killed a giant monster in the first grade, which is unbelievable.
"Well, Miss Granger, Gryffindor will be deducted 5 points for this, I'm disappointed in you, if you don't get hurt, you'd better hurry back to Gryffindor Tower, the students are enjoying Halloween dinner in their own house."
Hermione hung her head in disappointment.
Harry and Ron were nervous, but Professor McGonagall didn't blame them, instead they fought the trolls for their friends, and were rewarded with 5 points each.
This made the two of them feel ashamed, because they both knew that John was the one who solved the troll.
They took Hermione in the back at most.
The two were also driven back.
Leave John alone.
Professor McGonagall was the head of Gryffindor, and she felt she should wait for Snape to come and deal with it.
Soon, Professor Snape and Quirrell, who arrived later, were also stunned when they found out.
Especially Quirrell, this troll was released by him, and he caught it himself.
He knew more about the power of the trolls, and it was a nightmare for the first-year wizard to encounter it.
But now the troll is dead, and it's a terrible death.
This led him to focus more on John.
This student did well in class, but didn't expect to be able to deal with trolls.
Voldemort in Quirrell's head also had a thought, such a good little wizard might be able to become a qualified Death Eater.
"Mr. Wick, it seems that you have always thought you were good enough."
Professor Snape still had the same old man-in-cheek tone, and he began to re-examine John.
Snape has never spared any effort to add points to Slytherin.
John scored 20 points, a much more generous bonus than Professor McGonagall.
"Because of your recklessness, Mr. Wick, you're going to the Forbidden Forest for a while this school year."
John felt that Snape was a rare person, and his face darkened when he heard this.
If only he had learned that Quirrell often went to the Forbidden Forest, John would have gladly accepted the punishment.
After all, where to swim at night is not a tour, but now that a Dark Lord may go to the Forbidden Forest at any time to shop, he really can't be happy.
Unfortunately, he was reluctant and couldn't help it, and Professor McGonagall still needed to tell Dumbledore that John had been thrown back.
"I just left the trophy room and went to the Forbidden Forest, what is going on."
After complaining, John didn't regret it much.
Just saying that any point has increased makes him feel that he is not at a loss.
He did not use it immediately, but was ready to use it once he reached the bottleneck.
"Why don't you learn the fire, or do you want to learn the Occlumency Technique first?"
Thinking of the Guardian Mind Curse, John decided to learn Occlumency first.
He didn't want to be read by an old bat or a guy with no nose all day.
...
November 1.
There is a lot of talk about a troll being killed by a young first-year wizard.
John became even more prominent in Slytherin, and even Malfoy couldn't help but come over curiously and ask, "Did you really kill a troll?" β
Elegantly eating the bread with water, John didn't want to see milk and tomato juice for a while, and I believe Harry thought the same way.
Glancing at Malfoy, who rarely took the initiative to talk, John said lightly: "Do you really want to know?" I can give you a detailed description. β
Malfoy remembered Filch cleaning the walls in the first-floor hallway, and suddenly felt that the milk in front of him had become something else.
"Noβheck."
Apparently, Malfoy's young mind could not bear the shock.
After this battle, John became even more awe-inspiring in Slytherin.
Even the senior Slytherin didn't dare to be arrogant in front of John.
John changed his position in disgust, and just sat down and came over.
"John, there's a Quidditch match tomorrow, can you come and see it?"
The three get back together, and John reaps the friendship of Harry and Ron.
Especially Harry, he remembered where John's name had been heard, and Dudley, who had been bullying him, was most afraid of John Wick.
"Quidditch? I think I'll go, but before I can do that I have to take a stand, I've got to cheer for Slytherin. β
John naturally had no reason not to go, and Harry and Ron laughed, they had almost forgotten that it was a Slytherin, and it seemed that there was no hope of getting John to cheer up Gryffindor.
Hermione was more concerned about John's punishment, worried, "There are still werewolves in the Forbidden Forest, and I can't believe that the school actually let the first grade go to patrol the Forbidden Forest." β
Speaking of this, she was very angry, it was clear that John had saved himself, but he still had to be punished.
Harry also found Snape even more annoying, especially when he went to retrieve The Amazing Quidditch Ball, and accidentally found out that Snape had been bitten on the fourth floor.
Slytherin and Gryffindor don't have classes in the same classroom today.
After the lesson, when John was about to leave, Malfoy couldn't help but ask, "Wick, will you be cheering for Slytherin tomorrow in Quidditch?" β
In Malfoy's opinion, John is simply a Gryffindor, and maybe he will cheer for Gryffindor in the past.
John smiled, looked at Malfoy, and said, "Of course, for eternal glory." β
Malfoy was stunned and muttered.
"For Eternal Glory......."
This sentence made him change his opinion of John, and maybe this man could be considered Slytherin.
Slytherin is forever chasing glory.
...
At night, John followed Hagrid with a nightlight.
I have to say that Hagrid's huge body is very capable of giving people a sense of security.
Especially the crossbow arrows that shimmered with cold, John dared to say that it was absolutely uncomfortable to be hit.
Soon after the two entered the Forbidden Forest, they heard wailing.
Hagrid's face changed, "It's the unicorn's voice. β
