Chapter 333: The Golden and the Horse
The villagers of Little Hangleton still call the house on the hillside Riddle House, even though it has been uninhabited for a long time.
But once upon a time, it was the most spacious and imposing building in the neighborhood.
Today's houses are damp, desolate, and uninhabited all year round.
Creepers crawled all over the house with their teeth and claws, the roof tiles were mutilated, and the windows were sealed, as if there was some terrible presence locked inside.
In fact, it's really scary.
The former owners, the Del family, were found dead in the house by the maid, cold and dressed in the clothes they had for dinner.
At the time, people thought it was a murder from a gardener, but they didn't know that it involved the revenge of a big man from the wizarding world.
Jin walked to the big mansion where he could vaguely see the magnificent appearance of the past.
"Alajo Cave Open."
With a click, the front door opened.
Shoes stained with damp mud stomped on the floor, and the wooden floor made a tooth-aching crunch.
"Fluorescent Scintillation"
The tip of the staff glows brightly to the ground.
There were traces of dragging on the ground, as if a large snake had once slipped through it.
The soil has dried up, and the edges are a little wet because of the recent wet weather.
Kim's eyes rolled, searching the rooms of the mansion.
He saw a corpse, which had become a white skeleton.
"It's been a year since I died."
Picking up a strand of gray hair with a wand, this is an old man.
"He was killed by magic." Kim can be sure that the old man died under a spell.
His eyes were delighted, and his expression became cautious.
The traces from the entrance to this place all indicate that something once existed here.
"Something might be right here."
He checked every place in the room that could be opened.
From death to decay to bones, the windows of the room are sealed, and the residual smell enters the nose like maggots.
The unpleasant smell couldn't make Kim back down.
But little by little, the joy in his eyes disappeared.
By the end, the entire house had been searched.
Still nothing.
He staggered against a table, his eyes tinged with despair.
"Nope." His throat was dry, his fingers were inserted into his messy blonde hair, and his expression was devastated.
He walked everywhere and explored every inch of land with hope.
But he didn't find it after all.
His body trembled slightly, and he always carried a glimmer of hope that he would be able to see it.
Hopes were shattered.
His eyes were bloodshot and his wand was waving.
The glass of the whole house exploded, and he faced the wind, his greasy blonde hair pressed against his skin.
He fell into a state of paranoia, madness.
In this state, he walked to the window with his hands outstretched.
When he was about to take the next step, he froze.
His eyes were fixed on the bottom, and a white steed appeared.
The steed tilted its head and walked in one direction.
He chased after him, chasing the white figure.
The small wounds on his body were cut by the occasional branches, and Jin had no time to take care of them.
Following the horse, he made his way to an even older mansion.
The place is at least a few hundred years old, and the old houses reveal an eerie and mysterious feeling.
Nestled between two steep hillsides, it looms among the tangled trees.
The walls of the mansion were covered in moss, and it was even more dilapidated than Riddle's House.
Unlike Riddle House, the oldness here comes with a weirdness that makes people not want to get close.
When the horses arrived, they stood on the lawn on one side, chewing on the tender grass.
Kim walked over to the steed and reached out to touch the supple hair.
It was probably a white horse from little Hangleton's stocking, and the fresh grass here attracted him.
Stepping over the dense nettles surrounding the house, he arrived in front of the mansion.
The house was eerie, as if a decaying old ghost would crawl out of it at any moment.
Through the gray window, he couldn't see inside.
The door opened, and Kim stepped inside.
"You want him to live, don't you?"
"That lied to you, he didn't have that ability at all."
"If it was strong enough, it wouldn't have been that fire."
"Put it on, it will do everything you want."
"Quick, come and seek."
From the moment he stepped into the house, it was like a voice whispering in his soul's ear.
He couldn't figure out whether it was real or hallucinating.
"yes, that's it, open that box."
The voice guided Kim and led him to a box.
The pitch-black box has an intricate pattern on it.
Jin slowly opened it, revealing a black gemstone ring inside.
"Put it on, you should know what it is."
"Yes, you've seen it."
"In that book."
"All regrets will be made up."
"Put it on."
The whisper of the soul continued in his ears, and Jin reached out and carefully picked up the ring.
The black octahedral gemstone has a vitreous luster, and the gold heart looks like a boat sailing into the sea.
In the midst of the storm, the boat shook violently.
He struggled inwardly, and a black-haired boy seemed to appear in front of him.
The voice told him that as long as he wore the ring, he could save everything.
He knew very well that nothing could go wrong.
The ring is close to the finger.
"I want to see you again." Kim muttered.
The moment he was about to put it on, he felt like he had been pushed in the chest.
The ring slipped from his hand and hit the ground, and Jin took a few steps back.
"Hiss Law~"
The white horse outside shouted, and Kim hurriedly looked.
It's as if it has accidentally eaten a grass thorn and makes a scream.
Kim reached out and covered the badge, which vibrated slightly.
It's a group message.
He looked down for the ring, and for a moment he seemed to see a pair of greedy eyes.
Picking up the ring, he put it in the box, took the box with him, and left the house.
The horses had finished grazing and were heading in the direction of the inhabitants of Little Hangleton.
Kim stood there and watched for a while, he was in a trance.
The horse seemed to have become someone for a moment, but when he looked closely, the white horse was still a white horse.
"Is that you?"
He asked inexplicably, but the question was destined to go unanswered.
He looked down at the ring that still wanted to affect him, and he was determined not to be affected.
Looking back at the old mansion, the old mansion looked like a creeping and hidden beast behind it.
The darkness and lack of light in the interior are like dragging people in.
Kim waved his wand, leaving a pop in place.
After a while.
The wind blew the door open, and it slammed shut as if no one had come.
...
John counted the new items.
His expression didn't change much, but those who knew him well could tell that he wasn't in a good mood.
His face seemed to be a little paler, that kind of pale.
Seems to be sick.
"No Horcruxes." He tossed aside the garbage that Montungus had stolen to pay off his debts.
Even if it was to pay off his debts, Mundungus didn't dare to steal too often.
All he could do was rummage through the Blake's trash can.
Sirius was a good loser, and he threw away almost everything that belonged to the Black family.
Sometimes, Mundungus had to be careful of the old elf Kreacher, who would grab the trash with Mundungus.
Mundungus had already sent him over twice to pay off his debts, all of which were small items.
John Jean Don Mi hinted to Montungus that some of the inconspicuous things in the old family might be antiques.
"These are not convertible debts."
These things made John very unhappy and kept the price very low.
And ordered that if Mondongues used this garbage to make up the amount again, then he would not even be able to exchange interest.
Basil went to the owl shack again.
Recently there have been fewer places to need basil, and it also needs a place to vent.
Basil is very measured, at least John has not been complained about whose owl has been killed so far.
As an unusual owl, Basil's playmates are Tom, who can bite wizards in one bite, or the big cat who can kill several wizards.
John was a little surprised to see Basil returning.
Basil doesn't look as neat and supple as it used to be, with some feathers on his wings.
It's just that the face is still arrogant, and it seems that he has won a battle.
John doubted that Hogwarts had an owl that could fight Basil.
...
Some people died, but not completely......
