Chapter 387: I Saw a Werewolf
As a wizard who knew werewolves best, John found this werewolf to be a little different from other werewolves.
The most intuitive manifestation is the hair on its body, and most of the other werewolves are short-haired.
And this werewolf has long silver hair.
The werewolf pounced on John, and he dodged, the sword in his hand about to be slashed out.
But a second before he fell, John noticed the werewolf's eyes.
Beneath the messy silver hair, those eyes revealed pain and suffering.
It was this glance that John's sword deflected.
The blade sliced through the werewolf's long dragging hair, sending a splash of silver.
"Whewββ!"
The werewolf didn't give up, and John raised his left hand and waved.
The stake turns into a rope and is placed on the werewolf's body, immobilizing it.
John looked at the werewolf, "There's something wrong with this werewolf. β
Before he approached, the werewolf was still frantic and about to bite.
John dodged a bite, but his sleeve was bitten off.
Seeing this, he raised the sword in his hand.
"Stop!"
When an old figure saw this, he ran up to John.
John's dangling sword was not lowered, and he stared at the incoming.
Although the werewolf behind him went crazy and wanted to bite, the old man did not dodge.
If John's rope hadn't locked the werewolf at a distance, I'm afraid the old man's neck would have been bitten through.
"The village chief?" John smirked, "You're a little unkind about doing this." β
"No wonder you don't want me to deal with werewolves, you raised this guy?"
"My beg, my lord, don't hurt her." The village chief begged bitterly, "I am willing to pay, please let her go." β
"This guy is not rational on a full moon night," said John, with a cold look on his face, "did you raise her in the village and want the village to suffer?" β
Hearing this, the village chief knelt down and cried bitterly: "I also know that she is in danger now, but she is my daughter, and I can't ......."
"Daughter?" John said lightly, "You seem to be a father who loves you like a mountain." β
His voice was flat, but it gave a sarcastic feel.
It's a village.
An out-of-control werewolf has the power to easily shred human bodies.
The villagers are not Hagrid, and they are basically dead when they encounter werewolves.
The village chief said a word for his daughter, but what about the others?
John stared at the village chief's pale face, and said in an ancient tone, "Give me a reason to let her go." β
But now in the midst of trials, John didn't want to fail.
So he didn't put down his sword either, but waited for an explanation.
The village chief hesitated, but under the threat of Jian Feng, he told the truth.
"My daughter, she was taken by the wolf witch, and it was a curse that made her look like this."
Speaking of this past, the village chief's face was full of pain.
Half a year ago, he entertained a traveler.
The traveler was very handsome and generous.
The traveler, who claimed to be a merchant, lived in the village for a month, during which time the chief's daughter, Pekyle, had a crush on him.
But one night, the traveler went out for a long time and did not return.
Worried about the traveler's accident, Pekyll went to look for it, but it was this time that caused trouble.
Pekker was looking for a traveler in a swamp.
The traveler was there, and he was tearing open the neck of a wild deer that had strayed into the swamp.
The appearance of the monster frightened Pekyle.
The monster spotted her, and by the time Pekyl returned home, she was covered in blood and she was in a daze.
After three days, the traveler returned to the village chief's house.
He made his wish to take Pekyle with him.
But Pekyle saw the traveler as if he had seen a devil, screaming and refusing to go out.
The village chief realizes that something is wrong and chases the traveler away with insults.
The traveler left with a gloomy face, and before leaving, he cursed the village chief.
"Every time the full moon comes, your daughter will turn into a blood-drinking monster, and you'd better let me take her away."
The village chief didn't pay attention, but when the full moon of the second month came, he woke up with a wolf howl.
It was dark, and he saw a pair of oily green eyes flash.
The village chief, who was worried about his daughter, went to his daughter's room and found that she was not there.
When he found his daughter the next day, he saw a dead villager and his daughter lying next to him.
He was terrified, for the villager looked like he had been bitten by a wild beast.
The village chief hurriedly picked up his daughter and did not give him time to deal with it, and the death of the villager was discovered.
At first they thought they were beasts from the mountains, but over time, every full moon killed a villager.
The howl of the wolf was chilling, and the villagers realized that there were werewolves.
In order to hide the secret, the village chief locked his daughter in the house.
When he woke up, Pekyle went insane and begged his father several times to kill him as a monster.
The village chief had no choice but to tie people up, and Pekyer could not get out of the room except for eating.
But every time the moon is full, Pekker still breaks free and goes out to commit murder.
"My lord, my daughter, she is the victim, she is the wolf witch." The village chief said resentfully.
He thought that this would arouse John's sympathy.
But when he looked at John, he saw a face that was not angry.
"In other words, you want to protect your daughter?" John asked.
"Yes, sir." The village chief nodded like pounded garlic.
...
Where John couldn't see.
Inside the Alpine Castle, his uncles stared at the spring.
Alexei sighed: "I didn't expect it to be a werewolf heart test as soon as it came up. β
The so-called dream trial is the state of the human heart.
The choices made through trials allow people to gain different powers.
They have all been through trials, and although each of them has different trials, there are some overlaps.
For example, this one, Werewolf Heart.
Alexei has been through such a test before.
The fountain is like a mirror that shows the choices John was facing.
Seryosha looked at Alexei and asked curiously, "What was your choice in the first place?" β
Alexei pondered for a moment and said, "I killed the wolf witch, the wolf witch is the source of evil, and the village chief's father and daughter are just poor people. β
The other brothers were thoughtful, and if they put themselves in their shoes, they would also choose to kill the wolf witch.
After all, the wolf witch is the source of all evil, representing evil.
...
"What about the villagers?"
"What?"
It seemed that he didn't expect John to suddenly ask like this, and the village chief was stunned for a moment.
John stared at the village chief and asked word by word, "What about the dead villagers in order to protect your daughter?" β
The village chief hesitated: "My daughter, she just can't help herself. β
"You don't have to do it on your own," John said calmly, "and you can choose to take your daughter to live in the mountains away from the crowds." β
"How can that be?" The village chief subconsciously retorted.
John said, "Are you unable to let go of your power, or the money you have?" β
It was learned from Parker that the villagers had handed over money to the village chief as a bounty in order to eradicate the werewolves.
No one has ever killed the werewolf, and the money has been lying in the village chief's house.
The village chief was speechless, and John said, "The wolf witch hurt your daughter, and you did not take revenge, but acquiesced to the legend of the werewolf and took the opportunity to make money." β
John's sword fell against the village chief's neck, causing the village chief to swing his body.
He wanted to refute, but the words were forced back by John's cold eyes.
"Tell me where the wolf witch is."
"He settled on the other side of the swamp, and at this time there were always dead animals," said the village chief. β
It seems that the wolf witch did not give up on the village chief's daughter.
John motioned for the village chief to get out of the way, and he stared at the werewolf.
The werewolf quieted down, and John touched his chin, "It looks a little unusual." β
Pekyll wasn't completely werewolf, perhaps something happened on the day he was bitten.
After observing for a while, John used his object magic to find a large rock.
Circling behind the werewolf, he aimed at the struggling werewolf and smashed it into the back of the head.
There was a loud thud, accompanied by the sound of werewolves falling to the ground and stones shattering.
"Pekaire!" The village chief wailed.
John thought for a moment and drew his wand and aimed it at the village chief.
A red light shot out, and the village chief fell headlong.
Perhaps it was too much movement, and Parker, who was shivering at home, opened a crack in the door.
John dragged the werewolf and the village chief to his house, causing Parker to scramble to lock the door.
The door was kicked open, and John threw the village chief inside.
"Look at him."
Leaving a message for Parker, John dragged the werewolf out of the village.
A trail stretched out in the snow, and Parker wiped his sweat and looked at the village chief again, crying without tears.
...
Some people died, but not completely......
