Chapter 499: The Fall of Hogwarts
Who can deal with Voldemort?
Dumbledore.
Albus Dumbledore.
Only him.
The greatest wizard in the world is capable of dealing with the most evil of the Dark Lord.
As Professor McGonagall had always believed, as long as Dumbledore was around, Hogwarts would be fine.
This is what the students believe, their Dumbledore presence.
Hogwarts was split into two sides.
On one side were the attackers led by Voldemort, and on the other side were the guardians made up of students.
The giants stopped, and the dark creatures lurked in the darkness.
Hogwarts is embattled, and they have only one hope.
"I give you a choice so that you can continue to live in this world."
High-pitched, high-pitched voices echoed through Hogwarts, and Voldemort was in control.
"Let me see your sincerity, starting with the Savior, and hand him over."
Voldemort remembered his prophecy, though it was insignificant compared to eternal life.
"We have won, more than half of your resisters have been lost, and my men are several times as many, so there is no need to continue to resist, regardless of men, women, and children, those who resist will be killed."
He wanted to shatter all the unrealistic hopes of Hogwarts, whether it was the savior or Dumbledore.
"Let your savior come out, and I will shatter your last hope."
"It's like a duel, it's your only option."
Voldemort's voice echoes through Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall is wounded, and Professor Sprout covers his mouth.
Hogwarts was silent, and Hagrid was captured.
Forced to kneel there, a dozen giants made it impossible for him to break out.
Behind the bombed-out oak gate, the students slowly walked out.
Hermione grabbed Harry's hand and said in an almost pleading tone, "Please, Harry, don't."
Ron stopped Harry as well.
Not just the two of them, but all the Gryffindor students told Harry not to go.
Harry clenched his wand and said in a resolute tone, "This is my fate."
He broke free of Hermione's hand and walked past Ron's side, ignoring Seamus and Dean's dissuasion.
Only he knows what is going on.
Dumbledore was poisoned, and Voldemort had an absolute advantage, and only he could stand up.
The one who can fight for protection is the savior!
The crowd parted ways, and Harry walked out of it.
Professor McGonagall was horrified, "Don't go over, Harry."
"This is what I have to go." Harry said firmly, to Professor McGonagall.
He walked out of the foyer.
Although at times, he doesn't act very sensible, which makes people think that he is too impulsive and emotional.
But he was only sixteen years old.
At this age, he became the one who died without hesitation.
"Why is this happening?" Sensual people wept.
Voldemort was overjoyed to see Harry come out.
"Come here, yes," Voldemort said with a look of compassion as his narrow eyes swept over Harry, "Harry Potter, the savior who defeated the Dark Lord?"
Voldemort roared, "Lies!"
"This is a lie that has deceived you for fifteen years."
"Do you think you can be my enemy?" Voldemort let out a mocking laugh, "You should remember how to duel, Harry Potter?"
As if they had been in a cemetery, Voldemort and Harry stood face to face.
His heart twitched, and Harry clenched his wand, not daring to hold it too steadily.
The muscles in his arm were so tight that he felt like he had trouble lifting his hand.
"Avada suo! (Ava
daKedavra)」
"Except for your weapons! (Expelliarus)」
The two of them shot at the same time, and the green and red lightning bolts touched together.
A bright light appeared, but it was a one-sided situation.
Without his brother's staff, Harry would not have been able to fight a master who had used dark magic for decades.
But even so, he lost all the aura of a savior.
Harry Potter is still a brave Gryffindor!
The green light quickly approached Harry, reaching the tip of the staff in almost a short breath.
Harry's face was miserable with the green light.
He was so overwhelmed by the power of the magic that he had to clench his wand in both hands, and he was pressed to his knees little by little.
"Get down on your knees, Harry!"
Voldemort's laughter with pleasure and cruelty rang in his ears.
As the green light was about to engulf Harry, the beautiful song rang out to inspire people.
Harry's persistence could not overcome the huge difference in strength, and the green light was about to engulf him in an instant.
The phoenix descended from the sky and swallowed the deadly green light with its body of life.
The flames ignited in front of Harry, his wand scorched black, and he hurriedly reached out to catch the falling chicks.
Voldemort was not surprised and laughed, "Dumbledore, you have finally come out."
Dumbledore walked out of Hogwarts under the watchful eyes of everyone.
Voldemort looked at Dumbledore's hand for the first time, and three fingers of that hand turned black in a single night.
It exudes a curse of decay, death, and malice.
Snape stood in the crowd, his eyes falling on Harry as he fell to the ground.
Dumbledore said in a deep voice, "Let's face each other again, Tom."
"Dumbledore," Voldemort said with pity, "you're one step away from death, and you're going to regret it, all the time."
I don't know if Voldemort was talking about the fact that he was going to be a Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at one point, or if he was talking about something else.
"I've always regretted it, but not because of you."
Dumbledore calmly raised his wand.
The two strongest wizards in the world fought for the third time.
Unlike in the Ministry of Magic, Voldemort is the one who has the upper hand now.
Voldemort was the first to act, and a green light shot at Dumbledore.
Dumbledore waved his wand silently, sending the shattered statue flying in front of him.
A second green light struck, and a shield flew down from the sky to block the front.
It was Hagrid's shield.
In the third green light, Dumbledore waved his wand, and lightning dragged two thick whips on the ground, interrupting Voldemort's spell casting.
Two top wizards do their jobs, and every second is full of murderous intent.
Dumbledore no longer held back, knowing full well that Voldemort was not something he could keep his strength over.
With all his might, a red-green bond of light rose between the two of them.
The light gradually turned blue, and the continuous burst of magic caused the ground stone to form a magical field.
A huge wind circle formed around the two of them.
Like a giant meat grinder, the ground was shattered by this magical force, and the smoke and dust were sucked into the wind circle, forming a huge tornado.
With a wave of Voldemort's hand, which was not holding a staff, stones flew out of the wind circle and smashed them towards Dumbledore.
Dumbledore raised his left hand as well, and the flying stones formed a new circle of wind around him, resisting the magic of the constant attack.
Two wind circles, one shrinks and one expands.
After the two collided together, powerful magic fluctuations overturned everyone.
The connection between Dumbledore and Voldemort is broken.
Voldemort's wand points at the ground and draws a circle around it.
A huge mist rose from the circle, and countless bats flew out of the mist towards Dumbledore.
Dumbledore swung his wand in a loud swing, and flames erupted from his wand, scorching the bat to its knees.
The poison on his arm crawled up the veins, and all four of Dumbledore's fingers turned black.
Another confrontation ended quite well.
Flaming bats fall in the sky.
Dumbledore took the initiative this time, and four pillars of water flew up from the black lake into the sky, converging into a huge stream of water and rushing towards Voldemort.
Voldemort's wand exerted everything, and the water instantly turned into ice, and with a flick of the other hand, the icicles shattered into countless arrows and flew towards Hogwarts.
Dumbledore opened his defenses, and the ice arrows turned into smoothies and scattered.
In the next second, Voldemort was already flying.
A huge green light fell from the sky towards Dumbledore.
Dumbledore raised his wand and shot magic to block as well.
The green light pressed Dumbledore's magic, and it kept falling.
Dumbledore took a step back, a step that was like the last straw that broke the camel's back.
His entire right hand turned black, and at his right shoulder, black veins stretched toward his neck.
The heart-wrenching, fearful pain caused Dumbledore to back down again.
As Voldemort said, no one can stop such pain.
The magic was constantly eroded, and Dumbledore used his last strength to withstand the attack.
Two rays of light burst through the sky, shattering the glass of Hogwarts.
With Hogwarts as the center, it sank suddenly, and a ripple appeared on the black lake, turning from behind into a huge wave crashing on the shore.
Dumbledore tried to hold on, but the toxin made him miserable.
The blood on his face quickly faded, and black blood spat out of his mouth.
Dumbledore was defeated.
Voldemort defeats Dumbledore.
This was difficult for Hogwarts teachers and students to accept.
Their hopes were dashed.
"You're too merciful, Dumbledore."
Voldemort slowly fell, stroking his wand in his hand.
"You shouldn't have let Theodore go, it's because of your kindness, in the face of betrayers, that you always have to be kind to me, that I have a chance."
Admiring Dumbledore's defeat, Voldemort laughed.
"Dumbledore has been defeated."
The last hope of Hogwarts was extinguished.
Whether it's a savior, or the greatest sorcerer.
They were all defeated, defeated by Voldemort.
"Now, get out of the castle and kneel before me."
Voldemort said, "You will be forgiven, and your parents, your children, your brothers and sisters will be forgiven, and you will continue to live, and you will enter with me into the new world that we will build together."
"A new Hogwarts, a new wizarding world!"
Hogwarts was dead silent, and a wave of despair spread through it.
Hogwarts, it's fallen.
...
