Chapter 525: Hello, Human-Faced Snake

A door between the real and the false.

The hourglass is the key that opens the door and allows the existence of this door to be traced back to a specific realm.

John knew that the person who could leave this alchemy prop was definitely powerful.

"A wizard as powerful as Dumbledore."

A few names flashed through his mind, and in the history that John knew, there were very few wizards who could do this level.

Ambrosius is one, and John's time magic has benefited Ambrosius a lot.

It doesn't seem like this place will be where Ambrosius appears, though.

Even though he was a Merlin, he wouldn't have crossed the ocean to settle here.

Furthermore, it is impossible to confirm exactly how many Merlin John had, and it is possible that another Merlin was here.

Merlin is like a rule, where magic is born, there will be Merlin.

Whichever it is, you won't know until you go in.

The door was solidified, and John reached out to touch it.

His fingers touched the door, but he didn't go through.

Push hard, and the door slowly opens.

A passage behind the door is exposed.

This is a pyramid at a certain point in time.

"Set up a time anchor so that people of any time period can rewind time to an exact period."

Seeing the approach, John thought it was a genius idea.

Step in.

After entering, there is a wall painted with many periods.

John stared at the sorcerer wearing the Pharaoh's headdress and holding a serpent staff.

Placing the snake's eye gemstone in front of the eye, the mural disappears, replaced by a stone door.

The stone gate is painted with many snakes coiled together.

John stepped forward and gave it a push, and was locked up.

Drawing his wand, John cast a lock-picking charm.

"Aloboora"

There was a sound of gears turning at the stone gate, and the snakes coiled together on it untied their bodies and bit their tails.

As the sound stops, all the snakes turn into Ouroboros biting their tails.

This pattern is seen as an endless endless.

The stone door slowly opened, revealing a steep staircase behind it.

Each step of the stairs is so narrow that you can only step on the soles of your feet.

John descended the stairs, his snake-eye gem never removed.

Hook the soul lamp on the tail and bring light in the tunnel.

After walking for nearly an hour, a light appeared in front of his eyes.

John holds a wand in his left hand and a snake-eye gem in his right eye with his right hand.

Walking into the light, it is just a long road.

Looking up from the space, a passage resembling the body of a snake appears above.

It seemed like a space where there was no difference between top and bottom, and John put down the snake-eye gem and turned into a ceiling above his head.

"Sure enough, this place is full of illusion and reality."

John tapped his wand on the passage he was currently in, which was indistinguishable from the inside of a normal pyramid.

He walked towards the passage, and the roads and doors that had not been in front of him just now appeared to the naked eye.

Walk into a room with a half-hidden door, and inside there are many burial objects belonging to Egyptian culture.

"To get to the real tomb, I'm afraid you need to constantly switch between the virtual and the real."

John knew in his heart that the wizard who didn't know anyone was a very interested person.

John smiled slightly, "Since you want to play, then I'll accompany you."

He found some golden beetles in the tomb, stuffed them into his pocket, and took out the snake's eye gem to look at.

The original room was instantly transformed into a dangerous single-plank bridge.

John stood on the log, his tail's soul lamp illuminating below.

That's the danger of being full of spikes.

Putting the snake-eye gem down, John walked to another door in the room.

When I open the door, the paint dust melts and emits a choking smell.

He covered his nose and walked in, placing the snake's eye gem on his eye.

The scene changed, and he silently remembered the location, walked past this side and put down the snake-eye gem again.

As he continued to repeat his movements, John got closer and closer to the real room.

Due to the switch between the unreal and the real, he sometimes almost fell out of the passage.

Putting down the Snake's Eye Gem again, John had arrived at a place where a stone bridge stood.

At the end of the stone bridge is a stone house made up of many columns.

And in the house, countless treasures were placed in it.

John is seen from a snake's eye perspective, and the bridge becomes a long pipe.

Whether it is the naked eye or the snake eye, the road points to the stone house.

John walked forward, and the pipe was smooth, like something was crawling all year round.

Such a scene made John somewhat familiar.

The sewers of Hogwarts.

"Could it be that there are some large animals here, too?"

John was thoughtful.

Through the pipes, he reached the stone house supported by columns.

Once inside, the mountains of gold coins exude an alluring sheen.

John didn't go up and tapped the ground with his wand.

The Super Sense Spell is activated.

The entire scene of the stone house enters John's vision.

His eyes were slightly condensed, this was really a link.

Behind the treasure are countless traps, and the gold coins on them are weights, and if too much gold is lost, the traps will be activated.

Next to the gold coin, there is a sentence.

"Greedy people, you should learn to give up."

But John was sure that few people, seeing such a huge amount of money, would choose to listen to the warning of someone who didn't know how long he had been dead.

Walking past the mountains of gold coins, John came to the center surrounded by columns.

Picking up the snake eye gem, he saw an extra passage down the flat floor.

Those columns, also at this time, many doors appeared.

The font next to the gold coin has changed.

"Choose to face or escape."

John jumped straight to the floor.

His body kept falling.

The body fell into what looked like a cushion made of hundreds of layers of quilts.

John looked down and saw layers of huge snakes covering the ground.

As a result, it was extremely difficult for him to walk.

Standing up, he put down the snake-eye gem, and his feet turned into white bones again.

All the bones were shattered, presumably caused by accidentally letting go of the snake-eye gem during the fall.

Stepping over a skull, a path appeared in front of John's eyes.

Inside the snake's eye gem, there is a dead end, and in the middle is a bottomless cliff.

On the opposite side of the cliff, stands a statue.

John walked on the true path.

Trigger some traps along the way, as if to say hello to you.

There are no mechanisms along the way that will make people relaxed, and these sudden mechanisms have made the bones on both sides of the road.

As a wizard, John has his own way of dodging traps.

As long as all the traps are destroyed, it is equivalent to no traps.

The wand dragged the white light of lightning, and with a flick of John, all the mechanisms were touched.

The white light shattered all the traps and the road became safe.

Walking under the guillotine with only the handle of the axe, he reached the other side of the cliff.

Pick up the snake's eye gem and the statue in front of you resembles a human-faced snake outside the pyramid.

The human face of the statue is an old man with a long beard and a purple hat.

The wrinkles on the face are all engraved

on the face of the statue.

This is a standing human-faced snake, different from the '8 on the outside, the human-faced snake is like a straight wand, standing in front of it.

Behind the statue is a huge hourglass.

But just like the one in John's hand, the huge hourglass was broken, and the sands of time on it had long since disappeared.

After studying the giant hourglass for a while, John discovered something else.

It was a huge snake bone.

Its flesh is gone, but depending on the situation, the snake should have guarded here.

It's just that the time is too long, so that the snake's lifespan is exhausted and it becomes a white bone.

"Look at its bones, it looks like a basilisk."

John touched his chin and circled around the bones.

I'm afraid that the basilisk of this size will live longer than the one at Hogwarts.

But even the basilisk is dead of old age, how many years ago did the owner of this place exist?

"As far as I know, there is only one other wizard left besides Salazar Slytherin."

John muttered to himself, looking up at the human-faced snake.

On the list of the top ten dark wizards in the world, a guy as evil as Ixis.

It can even be said that he is even more evil than Ixis.

Because he created a magic that would be the most evil in the eyes of all.

Horcruxes.

Pure killing, splitting the soul apart as a vain attempt to immortalize life.

In John's mind, that wizard was an enhanced version of Voldemort.

As strong as Voldemort, he also needs to pick up his teeth so that he can survive.

It was also the oldest dark wizard.

A man who uses a toad to hatch eggs and create a basilisk.

The first to refine Horcruxes, and until John's time, no one could be sure of their death.

He created many evil curses that still affect the wizarding world today.

This is not the pyramid of Egypt.

It belonged to an ancient Greek sorcerer.

Someone who can rank first among the top ten dark wizards in the world.

The active period preceded the Hogwarts Four and the three brothers.

"Despicable Helbo." John looked at the statue and slowly said his name.

If the dastardly Helbo Horcrux hadn't been destroyed, then he would have almost reached immortality.

...
