Chapter 785: You Don't Want Me to Be a Human
Just when the two of them were distressed.
The surrounding scenery changes.
By the time they reacted, they had turned into an empty manor.
The place was unusually empty, with only a sofa and a table in the large room.
On the sofa, a young man with black hair and a luxurious wizard's robe was holding a cup of black tea.
"You may be seated."
The young man's voice is full of meaning that people can't refuse.
The president and Rout looked at each other, neither of them being able to guess where they were.
Fortunately, they could probably guess the identity of the person on the other side.
Rout looked left and right and asked, "Where are we sitting?"
"Anywhere." John raised an eyebrow.
Without reacting, Rout found himself already seated.
The president is on his side.
"Black tea or coffee?" John continued to ask.
"Coffee bar." The president tugged at his tie to make his breathing less suppressed.
He stared at John's face and asked, "We met?"
"Mr. President, it's easy to forget." John chuckled, "Don't you remember last night?"
Last night?
Stove!
The president remembered who it was.
The one who speaks to himself.
"You're the Witch King?" He didn't expect that the so-called witch king turned out to be a young man.
John casually said, "Apparently the answer is so."
Root also mentioned that this person was the witch king.
"Forgive me for my rudeness," the president said, knowing that this was not the time to put on a show, "and I hope there will be a new negotiation."
"Oh?" John lifted his cup, and the teapot floated in the air and poured him a cup of hot tea with white smoke.
He took a sip of black tea and said nonchalantly, "I once unleashed kindness on you, Mr. President."
"Your reward is a disservice to the wizards, an attack on the Magic Crystal Island, and a capture by the wizards of the Plymouth colony."
"You call wizards rats with contempt," John said, shaking his head, "but you forget that in the Middle Ages, the source of the Black Death was rats."
He did not have the humility of talking to the leaders of the strongest countries, but the bland and excessively calm.
"Francis's matter, with your indulgence and instruction in it, how can I repay your 'kindness?'?"
John's calm words always bring cold sweat to people.
The president's mind was spinning fast, and his previous arrogance was indeed too stupid.
"Equality, this is your condition, I show you." John said blandly, "Now, let me see what you have to convince me."
The Dragon of the World Destroyer was on Washington's doorstep, and the two felt that the pressure had increased too much.
Not only that, but John didn't stop putting pressure on the two.
He took out a pocket watch and opened it, and the time inside showed that there were less than three minutes left.
The second hand turns in a pocket watch.
He slowly shoved it over.
Seeing the remaining time, Rout took a deep breath and said seriously, "We apologize for our previous arrogance, honorable Witch King."
"But I know you didn't come with destruction."
"Not with destruction?" John laughed, "There are many places where America has been destroyed."
"Yes, I know," Rult looked at John earnestly, "but Westview is an exception, isn't it?"
"You're attacking the base where the wizard is imprisoned and the base where you're going to attack."
"At this point, I see your kindness."
"Kindness? I didn't expect that one day killing would be called mercy." John sighed, "You've convinced me a little, Mr. Root."
"Work harder
Maybe I'll be moved by you."
Root listened to the tone of the other man's voice, and he understood that the other party was just looking at a toy.
"Unequal people can't talk at the same table," Rout took a deep breath, "even destroying Washington wouldn't do the wizarding world any good."
"You'd be wrong," John joked, "and wizards need a piece of land for their homeland."
"Washington is a good thing."
John snapped his fingers, and the scenery around him changed.
The empty room turned white, and then the surrounding area gradually became a place of lack of high-rise buildings and modern civilization.
"The United States of America was only founded by slaughtering the indigenous people of this land."
They saw that the original owner of the land was slaughtered by the army that had drifted from the sea.
"Killing is the essence of development, and I'm just reproducing what you've done." John relaxed, let go of the cup in his hand and disappeared, leaning back comfortably on the couch and said, "I don't think there's anything wrong with it."
His own history was brought out, and the president hurriedly said, "No, it's different, we're here to survive."
"I'm here to survive, too!" John interrupted him, his eyes piercing, "Have you forgotten who was expelling the land where the wizards lived?"
Me, of course.
The president couldn't say that when he bullied wizards, no one said that they had such terrible weapons.
Rout glanced at the president, who was not a good candidate for diplomacy, even though he was a president from a prestigious university.
"Then you won't be able to accomplish the American feat." Rout regained his calm image as a diplomat, stared at John and said, "The rules of this world are not like that."
"You can destroy Washington, and even take the wizard to occupy that corpse-strewn place."
"But the nation, every nation, including your allies, they will not continue to associate with you, but will organize to declare war on the wizards."
"Because we see your cruelty." "The fact that you can promise friendship with other nations means that wizards don't want to be enemies of humanity."
"Honorable Witch King," said Root, neither humbly nor arrogantly, "I understand your wrath, death is only death, and cannot create everything."
True diplomacy is based on interests, invitations, and harms!
John looked at Root with admiration in his eyes.
This man is a good diplomat, and at the same time has insight into his own thoughts.
Yes, John will not destroy Washington.
Not to be precise, unless he is ready to reboot this world.
If a monster that can destroy Washington appears, then the human race of the whole world will unite and kill that monster.
This is the human heart.
Even countries that have promised to make good friends are waiting to see their own attitude.
They allow wizards to have powerful weapons, but they can't make wizards lose their hearts.
Killing a million people at once is no longer something that people can do.
Then they will turn their guns and aim at the being called the Wizard.
Actions that are too extreme will make it impossible for wizards to coexist on opposite sides.
What John needed was to make the most powerful country painful and make concessions.
The Dragon of Destruction is a nuclear weapon of magic, and his deterrent power lies in the dragon's presence.
"You're right, it's far easier to die than to create," John said, "and I don't want to rebuild."
This is a relief.
The president looked at Rout with gratitude in his eyes.
Rout was also glad that he had made the right bet.
The pressure on a diplomat on the verge of danger is no less than that of the president, and his every word and deed represents the lives of millions of people behind him.
Now that I know that it is not from destruction, it also allows the negotiation to pry open a gap.
He said, "America is not going to do it
The Wizard Warrior continues to develop, and this is a concession we have made."
Those wizards in America have become hot potatoes, and even if they want to make decisions, they are not as blatant as Francis.
"Not enough," John said, shaking his head, "not enough chips."
The dealer on the table of the world is still a Muggle, and John is temporarily in the bank, and he must get enough conditions for himself to benefit wizards.
"The United States needs to permanently recognize the autonomy and independence of the Wizarding Nations, and refrain from persecuting the citizens of the Wizarding Nations."
John snapped his fingers again, and the surrounding landscape changed to the manor again.
"It's really recognized in the form of a state," he said.
"Anyone who uses magic will be a citizen of the Magical Realm."
His demands are not excessive, but they are embarrassing.
...
