Chapter 82: The Mouse
Although there was a Quidditch match at nine o'clock, it was still early in the morning and it was Saturday, so most of the Hogwarts students were still sleeping in their beds.
It wasn't until the first floor that Rossi finally saw Lupin standing in the foyer, and Black, who he was chasing, was nowhere to be seen.
What about Blake? Where did he go?
Thinking about it, she remained invisible, and walked down the marble staircase without making a single movement.
At that moment, the door to the Slytherin dungeon was pushed open from the inside, and Snape, with anger on his face, walked up quickly.
After seeing Lupin standing at the door, his face was obviously stunned for a moment, and then he snorted lightly and slowly paced behind Lupin:
"Let me guess, did you take advantage of last night's good weather to go out for a walk under the moon?"
The provocative sarcasm almost made Rosie laugh as she covered her mouth and slowly ducked behind the huge statue on the right side of the foyer.
"Snape, I'm not in the mood to argue with you right now."
Glancing back at him, Lupin secretly clenched his fist.
"Not in the mood?"
Snape scoffed, "I think you're a thief, aren't you?" Using my ingredients to secretly make a compound decoction, you don't think I'll never find out, do you? ”
"Stealing your ingredients to make a polyjuice potion?"
Lupin looked over with a stunned expression.
"What? Do you dare to do it? ”
A sneer curled into Snape's mouth, "That's right, isn't that what you're like?" ”
After circling Lupin for a week, Snape looked at him with disdain and continued:
"Humph! Blake can be present at the school, and you can't help without it, right? Is that despicable criminal swaggering around Hogwarts in the face of others at the moment? ”
"I've never done anything like this, Snape!"
Lupin's brow furrowed tightly, "Believe it or not, I'm not what you think!" ”
"Really?"
Snape cocked his nose and snorted contemptuously, not believing a word of Lupin's words, "Then let me test a guess first!" ”
As he spoke, he coldly drew his wand and quickly pointed at Lupin:
"The original form is now!"
The invisible spell instantly sank into Lupin's body, but it didn't cause any changes.
"I told you, I'm not!"
Lupin jerked forward and grabbed Snape by the collar, then shoved him out again.
Staggering back a few steps, Snape finally stood firm, only to see him snort softly and straighten his ruffled collar with both hands:
"Don't let me catch you by the tail, Lupin, or I'll send you to Azkaban with that criminal!"
With that, he turned and walked towards the Slytherin dungeon without looking back.
After Snape left, Lupin, who had bowed his head and muttered for a moment, hurried upstairs as if he had suddenly thought of something.
"Compound decoction? Did Blake get through Hogwarts with a potion of transformation? ”
Rosie, who had just failed his invisibility spell, stepped out from behind the statue and thought to himself, "But if that's the case, why did he force his way through the portrait of the fat woman to Gryffindor Tower?" ”
She had a gut feeling that the answer to that question would definitely be crucial to this copy.
"Squeak!"
The sudden sound caught Rosie's attention, and she followed the sound to see a gray rat with an open mouth curled up in a hole in the corner, staring at Rosie with a pair of small eyes.
Mouse?!!
The moment he saw the mouse, Rossi's eyes moved to its front paws, where a toe was missing.
It's Peter Pettigrew!!
Rosie reacted immediately, drew his wand and was about to cast the Imprisonment Spell when he saw the mouse suddenly retreat and disappear into the darkness in the blink of an eye.
"Blast Rumble!"
Rosie immediately changed the spell.
With a bang, the small hole in the corner of the wall was burst open by a spell, but the rat that was still inside just now was completely gone.
It burrowed and escaped?
Muttering to herself, she was about to step forward to check when she heard Filch swearing from the administrator's office behind her.
Oops! It's too much movement!
Hearing the footsteps inside, Rosie hurriedly threw a repair spell at the place where the blast had been blasted.
Not looking to see if the walls were in perfect repair, she hurried towards the outside of Hogwarts Castle.
Running all the way down the eaves to the back door of the castle, Rossi plans to go to the Quidditch pitch to look for Blake, who might have gone there.
Now that she has discovered Peter Pettigrew's tracks, there may be a way for Blake to find him!
"Perhaps...... Can it be relied on by taste? Although it sounds like a curse, he is also a real dog after his transformation! ”
Rossi muttered inwardly as she picked up her umbrella and walked briskly in the direction of the Quidditch pitch.
In the drizzle, the Quidditch pitch looked a little blurred.
After reversing the wand and silently putting a spell on herself to keep her warm from the cold, she felt warmer, and her calves were no longer cold without any clothes to keep them warm.
"What about people? Haven't been here yet? ”
Standing at the top of the stands, looking around on tiptoe, Rossi struggled to concentrate so that he could see through the gray drizzle.
However, after observing for a long time, I never saw anyone's shadow.
Belch...... Should I go to the temporary lounge of the stadium? Supposedly Hermione went there, and Blake would have avoided her.
As I was thinking about it, I suddenly remembered Blake's deep voice:
"Who are you looking for?"
"Blake?"
Rosie looked back in surprise, "I'm looking for you!" ”
"Looking for me? How did you know I was here? ”
Blake looked at Rosie without blinking, his thin face full of suspicion, "Who told you I was here?" ”
"It doesn't matter, Blake!"
Without explaining these details, Rosie simply said the most important thing: she had just seen the grey mouse in the foyer of Hogwarts.
"What? You see Peter?!! ”
Blake stepped forward and grabbed her arm hard with both hands, "Did you catch him, then?!! ”
"He's in the rat hole, and when I pulled out my wand to cast a spell, he escaped from the other side of the rat hole!"
Rosie explained with a wry smile.
Hearing this, Blake took two steps back in disappointment, followed closely, and grabbed his hair hard with a hideous expression.
"But at least that means he's hiding at Hogwarts."
Rosie rubbed his arm that had just been scratched by him in some pain, "Can't you find him?" For example, follow the smell or something? ”
Without answering Rossi's words, Blake gasped for breath and slammed his clenched fists into the stands a few times.
It wasn't until blood seeped from his fist that he finally calmed down: "It's very difficult!" What that guy does best is running away and hiding, and from what I know about him, I'm afraid he's already starting to find a way to escape from Hogwarts right now! ”
"Then we'll have to hurry!"
Hearing Blake's words, Rosie's face suddenly became solemn, "If he wants to escape, I'm afraid there is no more suitable time than this time in Quidditch!" ”
