Chapter 112: The morning bell is terrifying, and the Buddha's light is coming again
Ning Que asked, "What if you don't die?"
Jun Mo said: "Then I will die." ”
What he said was calm and clear, but Ning Que was thrilled to hear it, and after being silent for a long time, he spoke again and said, "Senior brother, the Buddha may really be alive." ”
Jun Mo categorically didn't believe it, and solemnly said: "Confused, the Buddha has already attained Nirvana, if he is still in the world, how can the teacher not know, and how can Haotian not know?"
Ning Que sighed and said, "She really doesn't know the life and death of the Buddha, otherwise why would she come to the Hanging Temple to visit?"
Jun Mo was silent for a moment and said, "Then I'll find it first." ”
The two returned to the small tent by the lake, where Sangsang was sleeping.
It turned out that Haotian actually felt sleepy. Hearing the footsteps, she opened her eyes and looked at Ning Que and said, "If I spare his life, even if I cut this dust." ”
Jun Mo said: "Before Qingxia, I said, why should my life be spared by heaven?"
Ning Que said earnestly: "Doesn't Chenyuan want you to cut it, you can cut it if you want to, can you make some sense?"
Sang Sang sat up, looked at Jun Mo and said, "If you are reasonable, I don't understand very much, if the Buddha wants to set up a situation to kill me, it should be the thing that the academy wants to see the most, why are you on my side." ”
She is Haotian, and she can know his tendency from Jun Mo's expression, as for the reason why she didn't mention Ning Que's position, it was because she was used to Ning Que's following.
Jun Mo said calmly: "No shame. ”
To be shameless is to be ashamed to be with it.
Ning Que's answer was more direct, and he said, "The academy can't afford to lose that person. ”
......
......
Leaving the lake meadow in front of the cliff, Ning Que and Sang Sang walked around in the fields underground, trying to find traces of the Buddha's life or death.
Sometimes when he was grilling fish by the lake, he would think about what the second senior brother was doing now, whether he was constantly killing nobles and monks with an iron sword, or whether he was reasoning with those living Buddhas unreasonably.
In the long days to come, maybe even decades. Thinking that Jun Mo will hold the iron sword and keep fighting in this miserable world, the Buddha land that has been silent for countless years will surely set off countless turbulent waves and enslave millions of serfs in the Hanging Temple, probably starting to tremble because of fear, right?
Thinking about those pictures, even if he was cold-blooded, he also felt a little emotional, and he couldn't wait to join hands with his senior brother, but now he had more important things to do. Even if he finishes the deal of the Buddha and the deal of Haotian, he will have to return to Chang'an to do the big sale in the world.
The journey to find the Buddha continued, and Ning Que and Sang Sang traveled through the vast fields at the bottom of the sinkhole, but still did not find any clues. The two became increasingly silent.
The unknown is unsettling, especially for someone who knows everything.
Walking through the wilderness, returning again, and climbing the mountain peaks again, Sangsang went back and forth in countless temples between the forest cliffs, meditating in front of those quiet and solemn Buddha statues. Standing on the edge of the cliff and staring at the sky in a silent daze.
On the west peak, in the main hall of the Discipline Academy, they stood among the towering ancient trees, listening to the sound of the board falling heavily on the monks. On the eastern peak, they stood in the shadow of the cliff and watched the warrior monk stomp on the ground.
In the Mahavira Hall at the top of the peak, they saw the seven thoughts of meditation. In the thatched hut behind the palace, I saw a thin old monk boiling porridge. Then I saw an ancient clock.
The hanging temple between the peaks looks so quiet and peaceful, and the world under the peak is completely different, looking at these pictures, Ning Que is very puzzled, the Buddha is known as compassion, they meditate between the peaks, Li Min suffers under the peak, sits on the peak and thinks about the peak, how can you meditate, and how can you meditate?
In the Yellow Temple on the cliff below the peak, Ning Que saw an acquaintance, it was Master Huang Yang who left Chang'an and returned to the Hanging Temple to ask the Buddha again, when Sang Sang was elsewhere, Huang Yang only saw him.
Master Huang Yang was a little surprised, Ning Que simply told the experience of these days, and the master realized that so many things had happened in the world, and said, "You better leave earlier." ”
Ning Que frowned slightly and asked, "Is there something wrong with the Hanging Temple?"
Master Huang Yang shook his head and said, "I don't know what's going on, so there should be something." ”
Master Huang Yang is the royal brother of the Tang Dynasty, and his status in the world is extremely noble, which makes him naturally courteous in the Hanging Temple, but these days he is still worshiped in the temple, but no monks come to visit him, giving people a feeling that the Hanging Temple seems to be deliberately isolating him, which makes him feel a little vigilant.
The moment he saw Ning Que, the master knew where it came from.
In the wasteland, Sang Sang stepped the first seat of the lecture into the solid ground, but the first one did not die, and it was not so unexpected that the Hanging Temple knew the news of her and Ning Que's arrival.
Ning Que is not worried, as the so-called Haotian is in his arms, who is the opponent.
Master Huang Yang knew what he thought, but he had some different ideas, untied the string of prayer beads on his wrist, handed it to him, and said with a solemn expression: "My Buddha is merciful, and there are times when thunder moves. ”
Listening to the four words of compassion of my Buddha in the Hanging Temple, Ning Que subconsciously felt a little uncomfortable, walked to the stone steps in front of the temple, pointed to the world under the peak that was covered by clouds and mist, and said, "Where is there compassion?"
Master Huang Yang knew that he had been walking in the world below the peak for a long time, and said: "Countless years ago, the Buddha opened up the Buddha country with great will, and built countless yellow temples between the peaks, and gathered countless sinful people to cultivate and graze here, so as to support the monks, get the influence of Buddhism, and hope to wash away their sins. ”
Ning Que said: "It's all fart." Not to mention whether the mortals who were taken captive here by the Buddha back then were really guilty of great sins, and even if they had their own laws to deal with them, he was just a cultivator, so what qualifications did he have to condemn? Even if those people were really sinful, even ten generations of wicked people, what sins did the descendants of these people have? Why should they live in this ghost place where there is no light of day for generations?"
Master Huang Yang had the Buddha in his heart, and he couldn't agree with his accusation, but he also knew that this matter was irrefutable, and after a long silence, he said: "This life is the most bitter, and the next life may be the happiest." ”
Ning Que turned around on the stone steps, looked at the Buddha statue in the hall, and said, "No matter how much joy you have in the next life, how can you withstand countless generations of suffering? ”
Master Huang Yang said: "Maybe it's wrong, but who dares to disobey the rules set by the Buddha?"
Ning Que said: "What you need to cultivate the Buddha is to meditate, and the monks sit among the peaks and enjoy the offerings of those slaves. Can you really meditate, can you really meditate?"
Master Huang Yang said: "The vast majority of monks in the temple have never been to the bottom of the peak in their lives. ”
Ning Que said: "But they are not fools, they know very well what the world under the peak is, and the Hanging Temple is also going to enter the world, those monks and soldiers who go to the world, or strong people like you and Qi Nian, if they want to get out of the sinkhole, they must pass through the wilderness, in your eyes." How can there be no such poor people?"
Master Huang Yang said: "What you said is reasonable, the Hanging Temple has been inherited for countless years, and naturally there will be truly compassionate monks, even if they violate the Buddha's precepts, they want to make changes." However, none of them succeeded, and the most bewildering thing for those great monks was that when they tried to make changes, those people at the bottom of the peak would become at a loss, and suffering seemed to have become their dependence on life. ”
Ning Que said: "Faith is an addiction, and if you want to quit it, you will naturally inevitably suffer at the beginning. But how can you just let it go because of the pain of the moment?"
Master Huang Yang said, "But if the Buddha Kingdom begins to collapse, what can we do?"
Ning Que said: "This kind of ghost place will collapse. Why bother. ”
Master Huang Yang shook his head helplessly, thinking that as a person from outside the party, it is natural to think like this, but the monks in the temple are disciples of the Buddha. How can you watch the destruction of the Buddha country?
Ning Que said again: "If those eminent monks really have compassion, how can they endure it?"
Master Huang Yang said, "I can't bear it. If you can't manage it, you can only leave. ”
Ning Que said: "So you left the Hanging Temple back then and returned to Chang'an. ”
Master Huang Yang said, "Yes, there are many monks like me who have left the Hanging Temple. When he was a young man, Master Qishan read through all the Buddhist scriptures and understood all the Dharma, and was regarded as the first person of the Hanging Temple at that time, but the master could not bear to see the suffering of the people under the peak, and finally broke out of the mountain gate and went to the Rotten Ke Temple. ”
Ning Que looked at the golden-bodied Buddha statue in the hall, thinking of Master Qishan, who had been working hard for a long time in the Washan Cave, he was silent for a long time, and said: "The heart of forbearance is the heart of the Buddha. ”
......
......
Ning Que returned to the remote cliff, pulled out the green vines, and came to the tree in front of Liansheng's old residence.
He didn't know what kind of tree it was, but he remembered that when he came a few days ago, the whole tree had only a white flower, which was blown by the wind to his shoulder, and now it was inserted in Sangsang's sideburns.
After only a few days, the tree was full of small white flowers, which spread their petals among the green leaves, exuding a very pleasant fragrance of flowers, blending in with the breeze and drifting away.
Sang Sang walked to his side, just like she said a few days ago, no matter where Ning Que was, she could find him very easily, and she would definitely not let her get lost.
The breeze between the cliffs blows, the green leaves and small white flowers tremble slightly, at a speed visible to the naked eye, the green leaves gradually thicken, and the small white flowers gradually wither, the picture looks extremely magical.
Only the small white flower between the mulberry temples is still delicate and fresh.
The green leaves and white flowers are not desolate, but they may be a good harvest, because the fruit only bears when the flowers fall, and it doesn't take long for the trees to be full of green pears.
Only then did Ning Que know that the tree on the cliff was actually a pear tree.
He stretched out his hand to pluck a green pear on the branch, and found that this pear was much smaller than the common pears in the world, and the green color of the pear was extremely light, tender and smooth like jade, and it felt extremely sweet and juicy when he looked at it.
Ning Que has seen this kind of green pear, and Sang Sang has also seen it, it was in the cave behind the Buddha statue in Washan a few years ago, Master Qishan took out a green pear and invited Sang Sang to eat, and then Sang Sang divided half of it.
This green pear is really delicious.
Ning Que looked at the green pear in his hand, a little hesitant, and even a little vigilant, because last time he and Sang Sang ate this green pear and fell asleep, they were included in the Buddha's chessboard.
It would have been fine if it had been sometime else, but now he and Sangsang were in the Hanging Temple.
Ning Que has always wondered why the monks in the Hanging Temple are always so calm, even if they can't find Sangsang and themselves, they should always be a little nervous, but the countless temples between the peaks are still as usual, chanting the scriptures, entering the meditation, the precept hall is still punishing the monks, and the warrior monks keep stomping on the ground.
The morning bell and dusk drum are still pure, and the current hanging temple is too calm.
What are the monks in the Hanging Temple waiting for? Waiting for the Buddha's emphasis on the Dharma? They are waiting for the moment when the Dharma-related Dharma comes? Where is that moment? Is it on this green pear?
Ning Que looked at the little green pear in his hand and frowned slightly.
At this moment, a very melodious bell suddenly sounded from the summit.
Can you purify your heart?
Ning Que didn't think so, when the bell rang in his ears, his heart suddenly contracted, as if he was being held hard by an invisible hand, and the next moment it would be crushed!
This bell can't be pure, it can only be shocking!
Ning Que's face turned pale instantly, and he almost crushed the little green pear in his hand in pain.
Immediately after, he popped and spurted out a mouthful of crimson blood!
Her hand passed through the breeze between the cliffs, and she didn't know when she held his hand.
It was Sangsang's hand.
An extremely pure and powerful divinity came from her hand, instantly occupying Ning Que's body and mind, repairing his broken heart at an unimaginable speed.
Ning Que got out of his desperate situation and looked at the place where the bell rang on the peak, his clothes were covered with blood, his face was also bloody, and his eyes were palpitating.
This melodious bell came from the Daxiong Treasure Hall of the Hanging Temple, from the ancient bell that he and Sang Sang had once seen, but where could he have thought that this bell was so terrifying!
As Haoran's qi cultivation deepened, his body was as strong as steel, and ordinary swords and arrows couldn't break through his skin at all, not to mention the heart in his body, which was wrapped in layers of Haoran qi.
However, a bell in the Hanging Temple shattered his heart and nearly killed him!
Feeling the warmth in his hand, Ning Que once again felt the so-called Sangsang in his hand, and I felt the feeling in the world.
No matter how terrifying this bell is, no matter how powerful the Hanging Temple is, as long as I hold Sangsang's hand tightly, then even if you cut me into countless pieces, I can still live.
This was the conclusion that Ning Que had come to with countless blood and tears in the Temple of Light and the Hidden Pavilion, and he was very confident.
Holding Sangsang's hand, he was no longer afraid, and he could listen carefully to the bell.
The bell reverberated between the cliffs and in countless temples, so far away.
Gradually, there were countless chanting sounds, which began to merge into the bells.
Countless temples, countless monks are chanting Buddhist scriptures, countless Taoist chanting scriptures are mixed together, buzzing and ringing, and it is impossible to hear which Buddhist scriptures they are reading.
The Buddhist temples in the world start the day with the sound of bells, which are morning bells.
When the morning bell rings, the monks wake up and begin to recite the scriptures with devotion, for the morning lesson.
The Hanging Temple woke up, and the true Buddha kingdom that the Buddha left in the world also began to reveal its true face.
A Buddha light appeared on the cliff and covered Sangsang in it.
Ning Que looked at this scene, his whole body was cold, and his heart seemed to stop beating.
Because he remembered a scene in the apse of the Lanke Temple many years ago. (To be continued)
