Chapter 119: Hagrid's Brother (Part I)
The fifth- and seventh-graders are busy with their upcoming exams, and the professors are having a hard time - Lockhart hears that Hagrid and Umbridge are arguing again, and Umbridge even says that he wants Hagrid to get out of the way.
Lockhart had no choice but to visit Hagrid again, as he regarded Hagrid as a friend. "Hagrid, didn't you still advise me not to provoke Umbridge, why did you quarrel with her yourself?"
"It's Gildero. She actually said that the magical creatures I brought to class were too dangerous, so I put up with it, and she actually said that my giant bloodline was dirty and murderous, how could I bear it?" Hagrid's beard was shaking, and he looked really angry, "It's a big deal, who cares!"
The giants are really quite ferocious, and where can you go if you don't do it, Lockhart smiled bitterly: "Hagrid, don't worry, I won't let you be driven away." β
"Gildero, I trust you, but this time I am afraid it will be difficult to be spared, I scolded the old witch severely......"
"How did you scold?"
Hagrid hesitated for a moment and shook his head, "You still don't want to know, I never thought I'd be able to say such a swear word......"
Lockhart's face twitched, he could already imagine what words Hagrid used, Hagrid wasn't very good at swearing, he must have used the adjectives for Umbridge that he had heard from Hermione and Ron.
"Gildero, if I'm kicked out this time, I have something to ask you and Harry for them, you wait here......" With that, Hagrid came out of the house, seemingly going to the school to find Harry and them.
Lockhart watched Hagrid hurry towards the school, bored with the crust cake on the table, took a bite, and then reluctantly threw it to Toothtooth, but he didn't even eat the dog, so he shook his head, took out his wand, floated the piece of bread and threw it out the window.
Then he stood up and looked around Hagrid's house, where all sorts of magical creatures were screaming and struggling in their cages, and Lockhart's knowledge couldn't immediately recognize all of them, after all, he liked magical creatures and only wanted to have more material when writing, and he didn't really love them.
Lockhart poked a small thing in a cage with his wand, and the thing spewed fire at him, startling him. At this moment, the sound of someone talking outside the door made Lockhart sit back on the stool.
The door opened, Hagrid was the first to squeeze in, followed by the trio of saviors, Hermione saw Lockhart and called him in surprise, sat next to him and snuggled up on Lockhart's arm, Harry and Ron greeted Lockhart respectfully.
"Oh, Hermione, you're reconciled to Gildero, but you're too close," Hagrid said happily, Hermione rolling her eyes at him, "Well, I'm not going to talk nonsense. But don't sit down, everyone, we're going to the Forbidden Forest. β
The group rose and walked out of the hut towards the Forbidden Forest, led by Hagrid, and Lockhart seemed to have guessed what Hagrid was going to entrust them with......
"Hagrid, what the hell is going on?" Hermione looked up at Hagrid with a concerned look as they hurried across the lawn towards the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Hermione still held Lockhart's hand, seemingly thinking she didn't need to hide it in front of her friends. The girl's hands were tender and soft, and they were comfortable to hold, and Lockhart seemed to smell the smell that made his heart flutter again, and he almost couldn't help but hug Hermione and smell her carefully.
"Y-you'll know in a moment," Hagrid said, turning his head.
Hagrid turned his head to check his surroundings every two steps, and even then, Lockhart had to trot all the way to keep up with him. When they walked into the shade of the outermost ring of the Forbidden Forest. There, Hagrid picked up a bow leaning against the trunk of a tree.
As they continued walking, they were fully into the Forbidden Forest, where they could see the large charred clearing that Dumbledore had left behind when he destroyed Miè's diary.
"Professor, is that really a dragon's work," Ron asked in disbelief, the scorched black earth in a radius of nearly a thousand meters has begun to grow grass, but the middle piece of the roasted glass land is still shining in the sun, looking shocking, "My brother raises dragons in a foreign country, and as far as I know, dragons can't make such a scene." β
"That's not a dragon, maybe the headmaster will sue you later. "You can guess how it was done......
"Professor, did you get it?" Hermione grabbed Lockhart's hand and looked at him expectantly.
Lockhart chuckled softly. "If I had this ability, I would go directly to the mysterious man with Mr. Principal to him, and he would be resurrected and done once, and he didn't have to worry about the soul at all...... Don't bother with the Death Eaters. Lockhart almost slipped out, but he thought he should have told the kids sooner.
"How far is it, Hagrid......" Harry seemed tired of walking.
"I almost forgot, Harry. Lockhart smirked and looked at Harry.
Harry immediately felt his hairs stand on endβand sure enough, Lockhart drew his wand at an unbelievable speed: "Dementor!"
...... Seconds later, Harry recovered from Lockhart's invasion.
"Not bad, Harry. So you've been practicing Quidditch just now, and you're going to have a tournament in two days. Lockhart put away his wand, and he saw what Harry had just been thinking.
"yes, Professor, you're going to come and see us, aren't you? Ron said excitedly, "I'm sure I'll be able to show my skills in this year's competition." β
"The professor never seems to watch the Quidditch matches in our school," Hermione said dissatisfiedly, "because he thinks the student games are not pretty......
"Actually, Pandora and I are both ...... Well, I don't really like watching this kind of exercise. Lockhart was a little distracted, and mentioning Pandora in front of Hermione might make her unhappy, but Hermione didn't seem to hear it.
"Hagrid, are you coming to see it?" asked Harry, holding his head.
"I want to see, but I don't seem to have a chance......" Hagrid said sadly.
Lockhart had no choice but to comfort him again: "Don't worry, Hagrid, I'll let Pan ...... I'll write to the Minister of Magic to keep you ......"
Hagrid shook his head: "It's too big this time, Umbridge may not give this face." β
"Is that old toad from Umbridge again!" asked Hermione angrily.
"Well......" Lockhart sighed, "Harry, do you still dream of that door and what is behind it?" β
Harry lowered his head, "I still dream, I woke up as soon as I used the Occlumency, but I really wonder what that dream meant...... I almost seemed to get that thing in my dream two days ago......"
Lockhart was shocked in his heart: "As long as you dream of that scene, immediately use the brain occlusion technique, don't be curious!"
"I will, Professor. β
"It's a centaur!" Hagrid led a few men to hide behind a tree.
In front of them, a large group of centaurs galloped past.
"What's wrong with them, it looks like they're going to war. Lockhart asked curiously.
"Why are you hiding, Hagrid, don't you have a good relationship with the centaurs?" Ron asked.
"Now the other centaurs hate me," Hagrid whispered, turning his head to check, "they used to be β well, you can't call that friendly β but we got along well, they were always self-sufficient, but I always came out when I looked for them." Not anymore. β
He sighed deeply.
