Xunzi opposes the special phenomena of nature as the conscious activities of the Heavenly Dao and the intervention of the Heavenly Dao in human affairs, and regards them as the result of the changes in the natural world, such as heaven and earth, yin and yang, etc., which is the main characteristic of Xunzi's rare and precious naïve materialism.
"Everything can be recognized, and the error of the induction of heaven and man lies in the incorrect cognition of the way of heaven. Xun Ziyan: The use of the mandate of heaven means that people should grasp the laws of heaven, grasp their own destiny, and grasp their own form and spirit, rather than relying on praying for the blessings of heaven. ”

"Therefore, "Xunzi Wangba" cloud: Those who take the world are not responsible for their land, and the Tao is enough for one person."
