Chapter Forty-Three: Hosdner
The dragon Hostner was bored, in his own words: I don't know how long I've lived, and how long I'm going to die, life is too boring.
Hostena was a dragon, undoubtedly a true dragon in the world, with a body length of over one hundred and seventy feet (over fifty meters), which was much larger than any dragon he had ever seen, and most importantly, he seemed to have a consciousness of his own from birth to the present.
Hundreds of years ago, he came out of the dragon egg, in this forest, and to this day, he is still here, and he has never gone out. It's not that he doesn't want to go out, it's that the rich magic of this forest has trapped him inside, and all he's faced since he was a child is a group of creatures that don't have any intelligence at all and a giant eyeball.
He knew what that eyeball was, and in his legacy memory that the big eyeball was a relic of his father. He knew who his father was, but he had never seen him, for he had not seen him since he came out of the dragon egg, and had only seen this huge eyeball.
He was so bored, so bored that when he became an adult, he had to choose those inferior creatures to complete his rite of passage. Well it's a little wicked, but it's true, and there's no doubt that he's a great man, because he created a dragon to race! Although he himself does not know.
His children weren't ideal, as his children didn't seem to resemble anything else he thought he had - no matter how much he controlled his abilities, his size, and his lifespan, so far only one of his children had died.
However, several of his children seemed to be doing well, although they couldn't get out of this damn forest, but his children were free to come and go, and Hosdner seemed to have heard his children say that his species was basically all over the area of this generation, and his children farther away had never been.
But what makes Hosdner even more depressed is that his children and grandchildren seem to be even more inadequate-at first, at least they still have IQ, but the more they go on, I don't know why they are getting more and more mentally retarded.
Yes, Hosdner had learned the word from a race called humans, and he thought it was the best way to describe his children, who were getting smaller and smaller, almost as much as he had been when he was a child.
"If memory serves, the creature that came in called a human seems to be named Merlin?"
From time to time, Hostner still remembered the events of hundreds of years or a thousand years ago, although those years were not worth mentioning to him, but at least for that brief time he felt very pleasant, the human had taught him a lot, already some human language, but then the man named Merlin left, never to be seen again.
"Probably dead, right?"
Hosdner was very emotional, he found that although human beings are very interesting, it seems that the life span is really short, even if he doesn't have to deliberately perceive it, he can clearly know that the imprint of time on human beings is much more violent than his own, although the human magic level is very good.
"I'm just lonely now, that's the word, only a group of brainless retards and a big eyeball!"
However, there seemed to be something different today, and Hostner, who had been sleeping in his dragon's den, suddenly felt a strong wave of magic power. Yes, very strongly, even stronger than the human named Merlin who didn't know hundreds of years ago.
This magic fluctuation directly woke him up from his sleep, and he was a little curious about what kind of creature had such a magic fluctuation? So he got up and called a descendant who didn't know how many generations he had been to come and ask, and then he was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was actually four humans!
"How long has it been, since this group of idiots seemed to eat a few humans who came in as food decades ago, no human dared to come in, and now someone has finally come in again!"
Hostner's wings fluttered, and the whole dragon flew into the sky at once, and he warned his children and grandchildren with his roar that whoever dared to attack these people would come and be my ration! However, he was surprised to receive an answer, because his descendants told him that these humans were terrifying.
He didn't have to wait longβa few hours was no different from a few secondsβhe saw the four humans walk up to his lair, their eyes fixed on the big eyes left by the old man he had never seen, and one of them, who looked like he was dying, exclaimed: Merlin is on top, what is this?" Why is there so much fire element in it!
Merlin? He knew this person, it seems that they should be Merlin's friends or descendants, right? As for the fire elemental, what is it? Hosdena was full of questions, so he took a good look at the human language, flew down from the sky, and asked in a voice:
"Fire elemental? What's that? β
Josh looked up at the descending dragon, also stunned. Not only him, but even the three people around him were all a little stunned, when did the dragon know how to speak? Josh doesn't remember that there were dragons in the original book who could talk.
"You, why do you speak? I mean, why do you speak human language, and it's also English? β
"Isn't it weird? Because someone has taught me before that he was the first human to come in, and that is Merlin as this dying guy said. β
With a loud bang, Hostner flapped his wings and landed on the ground, then smiled (he thought he was laughing, but Josh looked hideous to them) and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, human. My name is Hosdner, and I haven't seen a human in hundreds of years. β
"Oh my God! Have you seen Merlin? Dumbledore didn't care about that, he asked excitedly.
"Yes, I've seen him. Didn't I say that I learned the language of mankind from him. Oh, by the way, Merlin, how is he now, is he dead after hundreds of years? β
"....." Dumbledore was dumbfounded, but he quickly replied, "Yes, Master Merlin has been dead for a long, long time. β
"Is that so? The lifespan of human beings is really short, and they are not as good as my mentally retarded children. Hostner looked a little sad.
Mentally retarded..... Josh really doesn't know what to say, and it's really interesting to say that his children and grandchildren are mentally handicapped. Josh wanted to laugh, but immediately he couldn't laugh, he swallowed his mouth and asked, "The children and grandchildren you are talking about, are those guys outside?" Peak Dragon? β
"Peak Dragon? What is that? "Hostner is a little confused." I have so many children and grandchildren, some are on the other side of the sea, some are here, and some seem to have flown farther away. But I could feel that they were still in this part of the sea, and they didn't fly farther. β
This part of the sea, this Nima means that your children and grandchildren are all over Europe? This time, Josh directly gave this guy the highest respect, a living legend! He has basically determined that this guy is probably the ancestor of the so-called European dragon clan!
Not only Josh guessed, but even Dumbledore and Fulard guessed, they all looked at Hostner with a look of incredulity, they didn't expect those dragons to be the descendants of this guy? Fular shuddered even more - he seemed to have eaten their meat when he came in, and his own country was still keeping his offspring in captivity!
Isn't this considered to be a death by yourself!
"Why do you have such strange eyes, like Merlin hundreds of years ago? It was as if he had asked me a similar question, and I answered him and he had the same expression. Hosdner was a little confused, he didn't know what the humans' expressions meant.
"Well, it seems like there was some accident between us. Because we accidentally killed one when we came in, and then we couldn't catch any other creatures, so we .....," Josh said with some embarrassment, he didn't think he was hiding it because he still had a piece of dragon meat in his pocket!
"Eaten? It's okay, if their strength level is not good, they will be eaten if they are eaten, anyway, it doesn't matter if there are so many of them. Oh yes, they attacked you humans decades ago, too, so it's not a big deal. Hosdner shook his head casually as if he didn't have that kind of thing, not caring at all.
Whew, now they finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although Hostner is not too terrifying in Josh's eyes - close to the fourth order but not yet reached, and the quality of the magic in his body is not too high, so Josh is not very afraid, the main reason is that the skin of the legend dragon is very wear-resistant, and Josh is a little worried that he will not be able to beat him.
"By the way, this big-eyed ball.... Ahem, what is an eyeball? β
To alleviate the embarrassment, Josh quickly changed the subject and asked directly about what interests him most. To be honest, Josh thinks this eyeball is very incredible, this kind of thing should have been decomposed a long time ago, but it is still pure and full of magic, Josh is a little curious about who the owner of this eyeball is.
"It's just an eyeball." Hosdner said unconcernedly.
"It was my father's eyes, and I don't know who my father was. Because I haven't seen him since I was born, he's dead in my memory, and the only thing left is this good eyeball. Oh, by the way, what you mean by the fire elemental, I've mentioned it in my memory, but I've never seen it. β
Mentioned in memory but never seen before? Josh touched his chin, and it was kind of funny. Memory inheritance, Josh can almost be sure that this dragon named Hostner is a dragon with a memory inheritance, but it is obvious that his inheritance seems to have been lost a lot.
"The fire element refers to the magic element of the fire attribute, and the things that flow in this eye are the fire element. Doesn't your memory tell you that? β
"Nope." Hosdner shook his head directly. "I don't know why, my memory seems to be a little intermittent. I just said that I was a dragon, and I knew dragon language, and some dragon roars - oh yes, it was said to have different effects, but I tried it and didn't. β
Well, Josh can almost certainly be sure that this is a dragon with a problem with his inherited memory.
"Another thing that is strange to me is that the world I remember is not like this. And I think there's something wrong with my system because my father seems to be a lot bigger than me! β
