Section 77 The Second Attack
Stephen Dwarf Giant. It may sound like a race between humans and dwarves, but the so-called "dwarf" is a race of giants who are often six or seven meters tall.
The adult Stephen dwarf giant is still a behemoth of more than four meters.
They live as tribes in the woods between the southern wilderness and the snow-capped mountains in the north, and the Stephen dwarf that runs near Breeze City is supposed to be an old Stephen dwarf giant who has broken away from the group.
With the exception of dragons and demons, a transcendent race that grows stronger and stronger as they get older, dwarf giants obey the rules of this world, and aging means declining power.
And it's likely that the old dwarf giant has a collection of spellbooks.
Annan knew what a spellbook was: similar to a magic ring or scroll, but without the use of restricted magic items, any spellcaster could bypass the limit and release spells from the spellbook. As long as the magic is enough.
For example, have a mage who is only proficient in the Shaping system cast a summoning spell that he has not mastered, or a warlock who can only summon a spell that is not mastered.
This spell book can be used by both Annan and Michael Keel.
It's a bit far, though, about half a day's journey from Breeze City.
Annan and Michael were still sitting in the mage tower carriage, and he couldn't help but ask, wouldn't this be reported for misusing the mage tower carriage?
"I'm also in the carriage, of course, not an abuse."
Michael rightly said. The Mage Tower is naturally united, and this wordplay is for its own people.
Francois's family carriage followed, and Klein rode a heavy horse, like a heavily armed knight, with an unparalleled sense of oppression and security.
Annan felt that if he coveted the position of city lord, he must accept Klein.
Fast, who believed in himself as an elite warrior, stood next to Klein as if he would be hammered to death with a punch.
Towards noon, they rushed to the range of Stephen's dwarf giant.
They tied the carriage to the side of the road, and Klein tied the horse, put the hammer back, and removed a heavy steel shield and a hand axe from his waist.
The team scattered through the woods, following the footprints of overwhelming bushes and standing water, approaching the dwarf giant habitat.
Their figures shred through the dappled light and shadow of the shade of the trees, and the scattered beasts and gnolls, the unrecognizable skeletons of the race spoke silently of the dangers of the woods, and the pupils of the scavengers on the branches reflected the uninvited guests who had intruded into the territory.
"I smell the dwarf giants."
Kadalina, who was walking in front of Klein, stopped.
Deep in the sparse woods reveals a devastated clearing, and Stephen the dwarf is inside.
Michael began to assign duties: Klein attracted attention, Kadalina weakened bloodletting, Francois observed and assisted, Deira was responsible for protecting Annan, and he himself was in charge of control.
"What about me?" Annan, who was not assigned a place, asked.
"You can do whatever you want."
Michael wasn't at all worried about Levi, who said he wasn't Levi. Not to mention the magic robe that burned several spells, he was fully aware that the friendly boy in front of him could summon an existence with an aura like a blue dragon, a coercion like a blue dragon, and a power like a blue dragon.
Klein cleared the way, holding the steel shield as he approached the clearing.
When Stephen was lying on his stomach among bones and dung, the dwarf was sluggish to his feet due to the intruder, Klein charged with a shield instead, trampling the solid ground and slamming the dwarf giant's calf, causing it to stagger to one side.
Kadalina, who followed her, revealed her figure, wielding her two-handed sword to cut through the tough skin at her ankles.
Francois also seized the opportunity, and the arrow pierced Stephen's eye socket without hindrance.
The roar of pain startled the birds, and the Stephen Dwarf Giant, who had lost much of his senses, woke up completely, and waved his palm as large and rough as a whole steel shield, and happened to shoot Klein.
Staggering backwards, Klein fell, then raised his shield against the enraged giant's ensuing slap.
With a dull sound that shook the earth, the steel shield was slapped to the ground, and the palm of the hand was getting closer and closer to Kleinβ
"Hey! Ugly Giant! β
A giant voice entered the dwarf giant's mind, and it turned its head to follow the sound, and an arrow shot completely into the nostrils of the dwarf giant at a tricky angle.
Even the dwarf giant's dull senses could not resist the pain of damaged eyes and internal organs, and the pain ignited the anger, and the anger suppressed the pain, causing the dwarf giant to raise his palm and completely smash the abominable reptile under his feet, and before he could stand up, a spell was ready:
"Greasy Technique!"
A slippery piece of grease appeared beneath the dwarf giant, causing the anger to slap towards Klein's palm.
Klein took the opportunity to crawl out of the battlefield. Without a shield, he couldn't help, but he was blind in one eye, his brain cavity was damaged, and the death of the controlled Stephen dwarf was a foregone conclusion.
Then, whenever the dwarf roared to its feet, Francois's arrows and Catalina's blades would arrive just in time, like a leech robbing it of its strength and energy.
Francois erupted with unimaginable battle instincts, and it was clear that Breeze's disdainful name for him as a "shameless baron" wasn't entirely accurate.
Only Annan did nothing in this battle. Even Deira was blocking the flying dirt and rocks for Annan.
Ten minutes later, with a dull scream streaked over the forest, Stephen fell to the ground.
Michael and their cooperation is like a wonderful performance with a clear division of labor, but for Annan, it is a battle without a sense of participation.
Annan couldn't make a move, he could only use the fireball technique and the low-level summoning technique to summon the blue dragon. And this calling is not constant. Who knows what other thing they'll summon by accident.
So Annan was ready to ask the blue dragon for a piece of scales or dragon skin with its breath.
Klein drew his steel shield, turned back to Annan and said, "Do you want to take the final blow?" β
Annan wanted to refuse, but Kadalina, who exuded scarlet heat, lent him a one-handed sword.
Annan, who had caught the sword, had no choice but to step forward and clumsily stab the Stephen dwarf giant in the heart.
Stephen dwarfs dead, and Michael fumbles around it, finding a spellbook sewn into a lot of skin.
"It's disgusting...... It's a book of filth......"
Michael's face was full of disgust, and he nearly threw away his precious spell book.
"Where's the filth?" Annan asked curiously.
"Written with genitalia of all races."
At this moment, the surface of the mage's robe suddenly flashed with a glow triggered by malicious detection.
Before Annan could react, Michael raised his staff in surprise and shouted towards the woods, "Arcane missile!" β
"Assassin!" Francois screamed.
Klein held his shield in front of Annan and McColl.
"Blood Sacrifice Human King! Skull Sacrifice Throne! β
Kadalina rushed out of Annan with a frenzied shout.
