Chapter 271: Association for the Promotion of the Rights and Interests of House-Elves
It's rare to see Neville for dinner, and Neville doesn't miss a chance to eat.
The Knicks gave up without a few bites. He went to the kitchen, the house-elves weren't too busy, and Nicks had them prepare some barbecue to bring back to Gryffindor, intending to use the fireplace to roast and eat with Neville.
Returning to Gryffindor and not seeing Neville in the common room, he looked around and found him reading a book in his dorm bed.
Nix said, "Didn't you have dinner?"
"Well, not hungry yet." Neville replied.
"Looks like you're better, don't stay in bed, come down, I've got dinner for you."
Neville hesitated, "I'm not hungry yet. And the book "The Amazing Aquatic Plants of the Mediterranean" that Professor Moody lent me is very interesting."
"You can take it downstairs and watch it while you eat, if you're not afraid of getting it dirty, by the way, I brought a barbecue." Nick Dow.
Neville drooled, glanced at the book in his hand, hesitated, and put it down, not being able to get it dirty.
When I went downstairs, I met Ron and Harry, who had returned, and the two of them were concerned about Neville's situation, and when they learned that Neville was fine, they took "Clearing the Fog and Seeing the Future" to do their homework.
Neville gave up a lot of classes in fourth grade, including divination.
As he ate, he grew amused as he watched Harry and Ron rack their brains to write up the unfortunate events of the future.
Tifa came back to see the Knicks and Neville's barbecue, touched his little belly, and said sadly, "I was too full for dinner."
George and Fred pulled her away, and the three of them muttered to each other, studying something.
Knicks overheard a few words and understood that the three of them were discussing how to get a debt. He was a little sympathetic to Ludo Bagman, who could have made money at the Quidditch World Cup, if the twins and Tifa hadn't bet.
The result of the Quidditch World Cup came as a surprise to many, with most of the people who bet on Ludo Bagman losing, but the twins and Tifa won, and Bagman didn't make enough money to pay the three.
Hermione came back with a box that rattled as she walked.
"I'm done."
"We're done with it, too." Harry and Ron replied.
Hermione took Ron's prophecy. After reading the review, he said, "You're unlucky." The tone is slightly sarcastic.
Nix was surprised, the relationship between the two developed very quickly, and Ron did a lot of things during this time!
"We've been busy all night." Ron Road.
"But you can still see that it's all made up." Hermione said.
Neville couldn't help but laugh out loud at Hermione's words, and the skewers in his mouth squirted onto Ron's homework.
"Ah, my homework." Ron tried to salvage it, but unfortunately it didn't work, and the oil stains were already stained.
Hermione said, "One more copy, and you've drowned twice."
Ron wanted Neville to copy it for him, but he eventually dismissed the idea, not because he couldn't bear to bully Neville, but because he felt that Neville's copying was unsafe, and it was he who was unlucky to copy it wrong.
Harry pointed to the box and asked, "What is this?"
Hermione opened the lid. Inside are a lot of badges, all kinds of colors, with .E...
The Knicks gave up the barbecue and got up to leave.
"Stop, where are you going?"
"Uh-huh......." The Knicks thought for a long time and made an excuse: "Go to the bathroom."
"Take this first." Hermione handed him a badge.
"Can I give up? Ron looks like he wants it more."
"No." Hermione said.
"I don't want to 'vomit.'" Ron retorted.
"It's not 'vomiting,' it's 'house-elf rights advocate.'" Hermione said unpleasantly.
"I haven't heard of it." Ron replied.
"Of course you don't." Hermione was proud of the idea, "I just started it."
"How many are there?" Ron thought that it wasn't impossible for more people to join.
"Plus you." Hermione counted Neville as well.
"I'm not going to walk around with a badge that says 'vomit.'" Ron Road.
Hermione was upset: "It's the House-Elf Rights Campaign, I wanted to ......"
……
Hermione and Ron argue about house-elves.
Nyx's mind was not here, but what he was thinking: Hermione had shown a lust for power when she was in school, and it was no wonder that she would become the Minister of Magic in the future. Listening to Hermione's tirade on the rights of house-elves is much like the propaganda used to get votes during the election of councilors.
It didn't take long for Hermione to convince the two to join her House-Elf Advocacy. And also the assignment of positions.
"Harry, you're the secretary, and you need to write down everything we've said now for a record of our first meeting. Nix, you're going to be the treasurer, and we need as much dues as we can." Hermione said.
"Inappropriate." Knicks' tone was resolute.
"I am the President, and I command you to be the treasurer."
"Then I choose to withdraw from the club."
"No."
Ron whispered, "Why do you have to be the treasurer?"
Hermione heard it and explained, "The Knicks can get a lot of gold Galleons, and he's the treasurer, so we have a lot of money to help the house-elves."
Hearing this, Nix said, "It's okay for me to be the treasurer, and I'll let my house-elves make money to subsidize it, an association that helps house-elves, and use house-elves to make money as membership fees."
"Sounds like an evil organization." Neville whispered.
Hermione was angry, "We're here to protect the house-elves, Nicks, and you're going to give your house-elves freedom."
"I can't give it, I still have to rely on the 'House-Elf Rights Promotion Association' he gave you to make money." Nicks slumped on the couch.
"Okay, you don't have to be the treasurer." Hermione compromised.
Nicks nodded.
"But you're going to give the house-elves free."
"Let's talk about it." The Knicks choose to procrastinate.
"Ron, you're going to be the treasurer." Hermione said.
"What treasurer. Can I be?" Tifa is back, she doesn't know what everyone is talking about, she just wants to steal Ron's things.
"No." Nick Dow.
"Okay." Hermione laughed, and Tifa would have turned to the Knicks for help when the treasurer ran out of money.
Seeing Hermione's smile, Nicks knew what she was going to do, and said maliciously, "You'd better not let her be the treasurer, she's been short of money lately, and she'll keep all the dues for herself."
"No, it won't." Tifa's puffed denial.
Hermione thought for a moment and pulled out a badge, "Two Silver Sico."
Tifa reached out and took the badge, shook his head, and said, "I don't have any money, can you ask my brother for it?"
The corners of Hermione's mouth twitched.
To add to her persuasiveness, Tifa flipped her bag over: "Look, I really don't have any money. I was just talking to George and Fred about getting the bet back."
The Knicks got up and left, and whoever was the treasurer had nothing to do with him.
