Chapter 308: I Missed It

The Knicks didn't answer Tifa, and he thought it was better not to let Tifa know about some things.

At the start of the new week, the class had not changed much, Professor McGonagall was still stern, and Snape was always finding fault. Moody still had the students use him as a target to practice some spells and occasionally teach about dangerous dark arts.

Hagrid's Conservation of Magical Creatures class still observes snails, but due to theft, there are very few of them now. It can't be one for each student, and it becomes a collective observation for everyone.

Luckily, the Knicks had fewer snails and less of the sin he suffered. However, there is also a lack of anti-magic materials, and some of his ideas may not be realized.

The snails are nearing maturity, and each time they explode, they push themselves forward about ten meters, and if they were still walking around with a rope as before, they would definitely be injured without Hagrid's strength.

They're more dangerous than ever to get together and fight, and the impact of the explosion and the toxins on the spikes can send students to the school infirmary for a week.

At noon, Hermione finds Knicks.

"Nicks, rumor has it that your potion is a hoax."

"No one will believe it." The Knicks don't care.

"No, I've heard that Durmstrang's students did."

"Oh."

Hermione's green muscles protruded, why didn't she know that she was in a hurry.

"You made a deal with Victor Krum, didn't you?"

Nicks nodded. "What's wrong?"

Hermione looked left and right, and lowered her voice, "Durmstrang went around smearing you, but the students at Hogwarts thought your potion was fine, and they all said that you deliberately tricked Wickktor Krum and sold him a useless potion. Did you really do that?"

"Not really, my potions make him smarter."

"But we think he needs strength more." George and Fred sat next to the Knicks and said loudly.

Hermione continued, "Everybody says you're not a Gryffindor, you're more like a Slytherin."

"It's not the first time. You don't think George and Fred think so." The Knicks broke free of their arms.

"No, you do look like a Slytherin, especially when it comes to intrigue." George teased.

"That's right, though you're a Gryffindor at heart, and dare to charge at the Dementors." Fred added.

"If you go on like this, your potions will be questioned." Hermione was in a hurry.

"No, everybody knows the effect." Nicks replied with a smile.

"Forget it, I don't care." Hermione gave up.

At this time, Tifa and Luna also came over, they had just finished class, and when they saw Nix, they excitedly said, "Brother, let's go to the Hogwarts kitchen together in a moment."

"What are you going to do?"

"My classmate said he saw Dobby, and I wanted to check if it was real." Tifa didn't tell the truth, she still knew Dobby by by mixing with Harry, and her classmates were even less likely to know Dobby.

But they know Twilight, and Tifa's purpose is not to see Dobby, but to Twinkle. She wants to be the new owner of Twilight so she has her own house-elf.

"Let's go together, and I think Dobby will understand my 'House-Elf Advocacy'." Hermione was excited, too. "I announced that the first event of the Facilitation was to go to Dobby, and I went to inform Harry of them."

With that, Hermione left with her books and went to find Harry.

After lunch, Luna left first. Nick and Tifa arrive together in the Hogwarts kitchen.

A large group of house-elves were surrounding Harry.

Dobby danced and said something, and Twilight lay on the ground crying.

Hermione was so focused that she didn't notice that Knicks and Tifa were coming.

The two huddled around Hermione and heard Dobby's words.

"Professor Dumbledore said that since Dobby wanted to be paid, he could pay Dobby! So, Dobby is a free elf, and Dobby gets a gold every week

Garon, take one day off a month."

"That's not much." Hermione said angrily.

"Professor Dumbledore was going to give Dobby ten gold Galleons a week, with the weekends off." He shuddered, his expression frightened. "But Dobby bargained with him, miss...... Dobi likes freedom, but he prefers to work."

Nicks spoke, "Dobby, what job did Professor Dumbledore give you?"

"Can't say, Dobby can't tell anyone. Harry Potter can't say either." Dobby's eyes were full of guilt as he looked at Harry.

Hermione changed the subject, "And what about you, Twilight, how much does Professor Dumbledore pay you?"

Twinkle stopped crying, sat up, stared at Hermione with huge eyes, and said angrily, "Twilight is a house-elf who has been swept out of the house, but Twinkle hasn't fallen to the point of getting paid. Twinkle is ashamed of freedom."

Tifa's eyes lit up, interrupting the flash: "You only want work, not pay?"

Without waiting for Twilight to answer, Hermione spoke first, "Tifa, you can't do that, Twilight is working at Hogwarts right now."

The Knicks also understood why Tifa had asked him to come to the kitchen. "Mom won't agree, and we have house-elves in our house."

"The house-elves in the house don't listen to me. I feel like I can keep her." Tifa argued, "She doesn't need to be paid and can take care of me, and Mom will agree."

"But you'll have to pay for her, too." Nick Dow.

"I have enough pocket money." Tifa's idea is that the pocket money will be used to pay for Shinshi, and if he wants to buy something, he will go to the Knicks for prostitution.

"It's useless, she won't work for you, she's faithful to her former master." Nick Dow.

"How do you know if you don't try?" Tifa turned around and said, "Twilight, are you willing to work for me?"

Twinkle looked at her, turned her head and wept, "My poor Mr. Crouch, what can he do without Twinkle? He needs my help, and I've taken care of the Crouch family since I was born, before me, my mom, before my mom was my grandmother...... Disgrace! What a shame!"

Nicks laughed, "Look, she doesn't want to work for you."

Tifa said angrily, "Mr. Crouch is not as good as you, I've seen him......

Before she could finish speaking, Twinkle immediately said, "Have you seen my master? Over here? At Hogwarts?"

"Yes." Tifa replied, "He and Mr. Bagman are the judges of the Triwizard Tournament."

"Bagman is here too?" Twinkle suddenly became angry, "Bagman is a bad wizard! A very bad wizard! My master doesn't like him!"

Tifa nodded in agreement, "Indeed, not only is it bad, it can't be done, it's just a matter of getting him into his name, and actually choosing Neville to be a warrior!"

"Bagman helped you!!" Harry and Ron had long been suspicious.

Tifa hurriedly denied, "No, it's not him, it's my brother who helped me, I mean Bagman is so stupid that he thinks Neville is a warrior."

Hermione said sternly, "Don't try to quibble, Bagman helped you, right?"

Tifa looked at the Knicks for help, and the Knicks shook their heads and spread their hands, indicating that they couldn't help her.

There was no way to see Nyx, so she had to admit it.

"Yes, Mr. Bagman helped me, but he only voted for Neville's name, not anyone else."
