The original intention of writing this book was to simulate the Ming Dynasty with another possibility, starting from the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, so that the Ming Dynasty would lead our Han nation into a beautiful path that completely avoided the tragedy and disaster that followed. I thought about setting the protagonist as a commoner, a nobleman, a scholar, a relative, and all sorts of things, but in the end I chose to set the protagonist as the youngest son of Lao Zhu and Queen Ma. The reason is that the identity of "vassal king" has a unique particularity in the Ming Dynasty.

The vassal kings of the early Ming Dynasty were most similar to the "vassal states" of the Zhou Dynasty. Lao Zhu's magnificent but sad and miserable life is also one of the important reasons why I set up the identity of the protagonist.
