Chapter Ninety-Seven: The Silent One
Godwin immediately understood what these men were thinking.
Almost as soon as the man spoke, he pulled up behind him and Ios apparitioned.
"Mr. Godwin is so stubborn!" The black-robed wizard said contemptuously.
Phantom shifting fails?
Godwin repeated the spell, but his form remained in place, not moving at all.
"Do you think we're not prepared at all?"
The black-robed wizard said, glancing at his companion beside him.
Then he quickly drew his wand and a beam of imprisoning spells, knocking Godwin to the ground.
His companion looked at everything indifferently, without the slightest intention of making a move. This was Philimon's agreement with them, and he was only responsible for using the magic pattern to seal off the nearby space, so that it could not be apparitioned for a short time.
As for the rest, it has nothing to do with him.
"Stop!"
"Don't hurt my uncle." Ios flew to Godwin's side, arms outstretched.
"Okay, why should we hurt him?" The black-robed wizard chuckled and said.
"As long as you come with us."
"Iβ" Ios's eyes were full of hesitation. Her body trembled slightly, and her face was full of pain.
"You don't have to hesitate, little girl, we know your background very well."
The black-robed wizard bowed his head slightly, he looked at Ios level, smiled and said, "That's not all. We also know that thing in your body. β
"Reptiles in the gutter!" Godwin clutched his chest and said bitterly, "Don't try to get Ios. β
"Crawlers?" The black-robed wizard sneered.
He then motioned for his companion behind him to drag Ios away, and then crouched down and looked at Godwin quietly.
"Are we reptiles? So what are you? β
"Is the Magic Congress that clean?"
"We're here to protect her!" Godwin yelled.
"The Magic Congress..."
Before he could finish speaking, the black-robed wizard directly smashed a punch into his face, forcibly interrupting Godwin's words.
"Don't you feel disgusted when you say that?"
"Protection?" The black-robed wizard grabbed Godwin's shirt and slowly wiped the blood from his hands.
"What about when the spell on her body fails? Create a more powerful monster? β
"Don't pretend to me, if you really care so much about that girl's life, why don't you just take that thing out of her body?"
"Hehe, you guys, we know that little ninety-nine very well."
"Evenβ" The black-robed wizard leaned down and whispered in Godwin's ear, "better than yourselves." β
Then the black-robed wizard suddenly stretched out his wand and tapped it lightly on Godwin's body.
Reply quickly.
The pale green glow was full of a certain rhythm, and each ray of light that fell on Godwin's scars regained a point.
The light began to dissipate slowly, and the scars on Godwin's body slowly disappeared.
"What are you going to do?"
As a high-ranking member of the Magic Congress, of course he knew about Ios's situation, otherwise they wouldn't have allowed him to be Ios's guardian.
"Do what?"
The black-robed wizard slowly picked up Godwin's wand and slipped it into his pocket.
"Any idea what this is?"
Suddenly, the black-robed wizard pulled out a metal weapon from his robes.
"No-Maj's weapon, you want..."
"Bang!"
The whistling bullet pierced Godwin's skull like a cracked watermelon, and brains and blood splattered on the wall behind him.
"Beretta Type 92F pistol, made in Italy, standard weapon for the Maj army."
"Hmm... I have to be really easy to use. β
"No !!" Ios cried out in mourn.
And her voice didn't last long. Because soon "Bang! Bang! Bang!" The sound of her voice drowned out her whimper.
"A bunch of stupid wizards, attacked by Muggles..."
"Tsk, what a wonderful excuse!" The black-robed wizard looked up to the sky and smiled.
"War is coming soon."
...
"Sir, where are there two Englishmen, what should I do?"
Another wizard beside him reminded softly.
"Attacking a group of wizards, how can there be no moles? Briton? Just right! The black-robed wizard said mockingly.
"Let's take it away!"
The black-robed wizard gave the order decisively, and then a group of wizards slowly stepped forward and surrounded Ron, Ioth, and Mr. Septimus.
Ron hid behind his grandfather, and at this moment he suddenly remembered another magic that Melda had taught, just after he and Harley learned the Olympiad.
"Wow! This spell is so handsome, is it a phantom shifter? β
"It's flashing, Ron. I've told you many times, this spell is not a phantom shapeshifter, one is a grandfather, and the other is a grandson, understand? Melda explained again speechlessly.
"Well, you know Melda, I don't have a good history of magic."
"However, this spell is similar to phantom shifting, is it difficult to learn?"
"It's not difficult, this is one of the most basic spells of wizards, as long as a wizard who learns to meditate can learn it."
Melda didn't bother to explain, and it was a fantasy to get Ron to understand the evolution of the spell.
"Anyway, just remember that the shapeshifting spell will be interrupted by the anti-illusion shapeshifter, but the flash spell will not."
...
"Flashing won't be interrupted by anti-illusion magic!"
Ron's mind suddenly remembered Melda's 'earnest teachings'.
He looked keenly at the statue of a ptarmigan at the east exit of the stadium.
It was a portkey.
Ron and his grandfather came through a portkey.
As long as you can touch the portkey, you can escape from here.
But it's not enough.
Ron was a little distressed, if he spent all his time on summer practicing spells, what would he do now?
His flashing skills were far inferior to Melda's, and even Harley's ability to do so, he could only flash a distance of more than ten meters at most.
No matter how good he is, he is twenty meters away from the statue of the Thunderbird.
What about the last five or six meters?
Although only in less than a second or two. But for the five or six wizards guarding the portkey, that was enough time.
Enough to cast any spell they wanted.
But he was still willing to try, he was a Gryffindor student, how could he choose to sit idly by?
As Meda said, you can't give up until the end.
With this in mind, Ron raised his head slightly and glanced at his grandfather, Mr. Septimus.
The grandfather and grandson understood, and they both looked at the doorkey not far away.
Although Mr. Septimus did not know what his youngest grandson could do, he was ready.
Mr. Septimus slowly lifted Ios beside him, and the onlookers had already stretched out their wands.
"Hand over your Mr. Wand, and don't get yourself in trouble."
