Act II. Finale [Second Empire]
The Airborne Warehouse of the Sons of Horus landed on the wasteland of Baal on the ninth day of the founding of the First Kingdom.
There was only one man in it, Sejanus.
The archangel stood in the wind of the wasteland and watched the weathered veteran silently walk towards him.
Bang.
The sound of armor smashing to the ground sounded, and Sejanus knelt down.
The archangel was silent.
A hoarse voice sounded,
"Horus betrayed."
Sejanus said vicissitudes,
"We were trapped in a galaxy by subspace turbulence, and Horus was stabbed by some powerful being, and he began to have a fever and experienced some hallucinations...... After that, he became less normal. β
"He can say strange words [Second Empire], [War Marshal], [Regent]......"
ββ¦β¦ But that's just the beginning,"
Sejanus said calmly, as if he had accepted everything,
"I was with him all the time, and it's hard for me to describe what I went through, it was a chaotic time, and before that, I saw you, and after that, there was Luojia, and Perturabo, and Motalian, and Fogen, and Riemanrus, and Magnus β but I couldn't tell the real from the fake."
"They,"
Sejanus was silent for a moment,
"Sometimes, Horus gets better, he wakes up from a fainting, and they talk to him."
Sejanus continued, as if he was uneasy about what was to come,
"During this period, there was also some commotion within the corps."
Sejanus swallowed
"Some people think that the emperor has deceived us, and blasphemous thoughts begin to spread among the legions."
The archangel stared at Sejanus in silence, he didn't know what to say, because this part was true,
The emperor really deceived them.
"Back ......"
Sejanus said,
"Some complicated and stupid political battles, and I was later impeached from the Council of the Four Kings, and the Legion tried to find a new way to heal Horus - for which they sacrificed a Primal ...... Mortal friends, they seem to have succeeded, and the original himself began to recommand the army. β
"But in the sixth week of the Primordial re-commanding the army, the Emperor's Son visited us, and I heard that the Third Primordial was coming."
Sejanus bowed his head,
"I don't know exactly what happened, maybe it was an argument, a recrimination, Horus fell again, he was injured again."
"The Legion tried to repeat the old trick, but it didn't work this time, and the original body was on the verge of death for a while."
Sejanus took a deep breath,
"Your Excellency, please forgive me disrespect."
[Speak.] γ
The archangel said coldly
"Just like when you established the Kingdom of God, during that time, a large number of [theists] sprung up in our legions, and many people did not want to lose the Father of Genes, so they carried out more breakthrough operations ...... [Imperial Truth]."
Sacrifice.
[I know what you are trying to say, and without prejudice to my judgment, I allow you to skip the details that make you uncomfortable, Sejanus. γ
Sejanus breathed a sigh of relief,
"Thank you for your kindnessβbut one way or another, no matter what method they ended up using, Horus stood up again."
[Is this the end of his difficulties?] γ
The archangel suddenly asked,
"No,"
"My lord, no."
Sejanus continues this long, painful story,
"After the Father of Genes was awakened, he showed a strong interest in subspace, but only scratched the surface, and he may have hoped to use the power of psionic energy to bring the Legion back to the physical worldβbut in an attempt to connect with the Psionics...... Some exist? β
"I'm not sure what's on the other side,"
Sejanus explained,
"But it makes me feel like a Scarlet Sinner."
Magnus, or the force behind Magnus Psionics?
"Finally, Horus walked outβhe ...... He's completely changed,"
Sejanus said hesitantly,
"Every legionnaire heard the words that came out of the mouth of the Father of Genes,"
He said......"
"He said of the Forsaken, the Minister's seizure of power, and the Emperor's Death."
The archangel trembled.
ββββββββ
γCome here,γ
Motarian walked along the corridors of the Fortitude, and behind him, Machado followed the Pale Lord briskly,
γβ¦β¦ unimaginable. γ
Motarian commented,
[I can't imagine this scene, in my imagination, I have never imagined such a scene - unexpected people, unexpected things, should come and see. γ
[Now,]
The Pale Lord said that he was moving faster and faster,
[Now is the time when the miracle can be seen in its entirety, on the ninth day of the ninth month before the torch is extinguished.] γ
Machado was silent, he clutched his scepter, and from Motarian's words, the old man may have realized what was happening.
β¦β¦ The Lord of Change.
Machado thought.
Whatever Tzeentch did, he wanted his old buddy to hold on.
Motarian stopped suddenly, and Machado, who was contemplative, nearly crashed headfirst into the disgusting pair of large wings.
Motarian spoke,
[Be optimistic, I know what these numbers mean β but it's not what we think it is. γ
"Don't sell off, Motarian - when did you learn to play with others?"
Machado frowned, Motarian snorted coldly, and began to lead the way again He pushed open a door for Machado and led him into the astrological room.
It was the personal chamber of the Pale Lord, a huge, transparent glass dome bulging above their heads, dense stars staring down from the sky, and the glaring fissure staring at them.
Motarian walked over and stopped in front of a large spherical observation instrument, and he began to tune it, a complex and delicate instrument with fourteen sets of eyepieces and objectives to be adjusted, and a few small death guards hanging from it.
"I don't need this instrument myself, Machado. γ
Motarian's calm voice rang out, and Macadopi smiled for a moment, naturally ignoring Motarian's taunt.
After a long time, Motarian stood up slowly, and he stood by the observation glass, staring at Makado, and motioning for him to come and check.
Machado hurried over, his eyes reaching for the eyepiece, which was displaying real-time subspace waves, at the Lord's Death's tune.
After the torch was extinguished, whenever the subspace was observed, all that could be seen was chaos and a blinding scar that pierced the galaxy.
But nowβ
Machado saw a star, surrounded by ominous black,
It's glittering, winter and crimson casting a dazzling trail in the subspace,
The star dragged a trail and pointed in the direction of the trail...... At the intersection of it and the Great Fissure, it is...... It's Kadia.
Someone pointed the way for them.
Machado jerked to his feet in front of the eyepiece, and Motarian stood beside him with his arms crossed, looking happy that he was about to go to battle,
[I'm familiar with that light...... Tell me, damn old man, what did I have in touch with this man who helped us? γ
Makado's mouth trembled slightly, it was ...... Is that......
ββ¦β¦ Fenris"
And......
"Magnus."
No, yes!
