Chapter 69: Hagrid's Dragon's Egg

The days after the holidays are peaceful. Thanks to Love's help, Professor McGonagall alone would have been able to show Harry what it would be like to not do his homework.

Life at Hogwarts hasn't changed since Christmas arrives and leaves, and if anything, the pastime of the young wizards has changed from wizarding chess to wizarding killing.

Between classes and in the afternoon, you can see little wizards playing cards with three or five friends everywhere. However, the strange thing is that only the three students of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw can play cards, and the wizards of Slytherin can only watch.

This is not surprising considering that the three founders of the Wizard Kill were all from Gryffindor.

Slytherin students come to Gryffindor students to order cards? That doesn't sound very realistic. But where there is demand, there is a market, which is why Faulcy blocked Love in the library.

"How much does a set of cards that you sorcerer kill sell for?" Faulcy sat sideways on the desk in front of Love, lazily brushing her hair, bringing with her a vague scent.

Love took his eyes off the black pantyhose that loomed at the hem of his sister's robe and silently raised three fingers. The wizard kill he and Fred founded is still in a state of losing money and making money, and it is sold very cheaply, and a pair of wizard kills only charges the cost price of three sicos.

"Three Galleons? Yes, deal. Sister Fukxi readily agreed: "When will you be able to supply?" I booked five sets. โ€

Love almost choked on his own saliva.

It's Slytherin House, it's the trench!

"It can be done tomorrow, and we'll send you an owl mail?" Love agreed, for fear that Faulcy would regret it.

"Yes." Faulksi nodded in satisfaction, she could sell a set of five Galleons as soon as she changed hands, and she was basically picking up money. However, this money can only be picked up by someone like her, who has a way in Gryffindor.

"By the way, did you taste the bottle of wine that was given to you earlier?" After talking about business, Foxie was not in a hurry to leave, she glanced at Love, who did not dare to look directly at her.

"Not yet, I'm going to open the bottle and drink it on the day Gryffindor wins the Quidditch Cup."

"I don't know how to answer, but I'm sure the bottle will taste delicious, after all, I made it [myself]." Fauce played with her hair and wrapped her fingers around a few curls.

Love nodded, and suddenly something didn't seem rightโ€”what was the wine? This grape can't be stepped on by the senior sister herself, right? Probably not...... Right?

As Love and Fox chatted, there was a sound of heavy footsteps, and Hagrid appeared in the library wearing a moleskin coat.

"Hagrid? How did he end up here? Despite the allusion to "three days of Shibei should be impressed", Love still did not believe that Hagrid would suddenly fall in love with reading, and Dumbledore's words would probably not be as strong as Sun Quan's persuasion, unless he cast a Imperius curse on Hagrid.

"Ahh Ralph! Hagrid's body shuddered when he saw Love, and he put his hands behind his back, as if he didn't want Love to see what books he had borrowed.

"Hagrid, how did you remember the library?"

Faced with this problem, Hagrid hesitated for a long time and did not say why. Eventually, he found an excuse: he had come to check the breeding information of the Flober caterpillars.

Love: I believe you're a ghost.

Hagrid hurried away, and Love and Foxie looked at his back, thoughtful.

"I'll go see what book he's looking for." Faulksi jumped off the table.

A few minutes later, she returned, with several books in her arms, which she spread out on the table. "I asked from Mrs. Pins that Hagrid was looking up books about the breeding of dragons, you see!"

She pointed to the books on the table: "Types of Dragons in Great Britain and Ireland", "From Hatching Eggs to Nirvana", "A Guide to Raising Dragons"

All the signs point to one answer: Hagrid is trying to hatch a dragon.

"Looks like we need to pay a visit to Mr. Rubeus Hagrid," Foxie smiled, both eyes narrowed, "I haven't landed my puppet material yet!" โ€

Ralph:?!

"Faulksi, are you crazy? If you make Hagrid's dragon a puppet, he won't spare you. In order to ensure Foxie's safety, Love took Foxie very seriously and enlightened Foxie.

"Love, you should know that raising dragons is a crime, and at the Wizards' Congress in 1709, a bill prohibiting dragon breeding was officially passed, and Hagrid was jumping on the edge of the law."

The ban on dragon breeding was enacted at about the same time as the International Federation of Wizards Secrecy Act, because dragons were too hot-tempered to tame and easy for Muggles to notice, so the Ministry of Magic forbade wizards from raising dragons without permission, and banished wild dragons to desolate sanctuaries. To this day, the Ministry of Magic still considers the concealment of the dragon's existence to be a very important task, and they have invested a lot of manpower in chanting spells to Muggles who see the dragon to make them forget about it.

Although Hogwarts is not in the non-wizarding world, it is still subject to the laws of the wizarding world, and it is also illegal to raise dragons here.

"Yes, butโ€”" Love couldn't imagine Hagrid's reaction when Faulcy killed Hagrid's dragon.

"Don't worry, I'm measured." Faulcy looks confident, and she's not stupid, and she definitely won't do anything to Hagrid's pet, but that doesn't stop her from blackmailing Hagrid into finding her a fresh enough magical animal remains.

She had heard that there were many eight-eyed giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest, and she thought they would be a perfect fit.

Seeing Foxie say this, Love also put his heart back in his stomach and followed Foxie to Hagrid.

When he came to the outside of Hagrid's hut, Love was even more convinced that Hagrid was doing something unseemly, because he actually used curtains to cover his hut tightly, which looked very suspicious at first glance.

After knocking on the door, it took a while for Hagrid to open the door for the two of them. As soon as the door opened, a wave of heat rushed in, and Hagrid remodeled the fireplace in the hut so that it was the same width as the wall, so that it burned and raised the temperature of the room to the highest possible.

It's so warm that even if the hut is moved to the Arctic Circle, you don't need to wear a coat in the house.

"Why are you here?" Hagrid asked weakly, "Don't ask Nicol Lemay anymore!" โ€

"We already knew who he was and what was hidden, but today the focus is not on him, but on you."

"Hagrid, you've broken the law!"
