Chapter Seventy-Four: The Troll Puppet
"Is this the Room of Requirement? It's amazing. Looking at the room that appeared out of nowhere, Hermione was amazed.
"The most amazing thing about it, you haven't seen it yet!" Foxie glanced at Hermione, a faint smile on her face. Rooms that appear out of thin air are not uncommon at Hogwarts, but there is only one place where the contents of a room can be changed according to "user requests".
The moment the door to the Room of Requirement opened, Hermione felt as if she was back in Hagrid's hut, where dragon eggs were hatching.
"Why is it so hot here?" She wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead with her sleeve.
"It should be to simulate the weather in Egypt, otherwise the mummy would have rotted halfway through." After a brief explanation for her, Love couldn't wait to look at his troll mummy.
After some treatment, the troll shrank a lot, and its original twelve-foot-tall body was now shrunk to ten feet, and its small head, which was already small, was almost invisible. Under the effect of dehydration and evisceration, the troll's large, bloated body also became much more slender and looked much more well-proportioned. On top of that, the smell of it is finally gone.
So judging from the appearance, what appeared in front of the three of them was a humanoid headless mummy wrapped in a white strap.
"Looks okay, Love, can you try to start it?"
Love walked over to the table and placed his hand on the troll's body.

"Get up." Love gave a gentle order, and then he felt a piece of the magic in his body be drained into the corpse in front of him, and the next moment, the troll, which had been lying quietly on the table for months, moved again.
It clumsily stretched out its arms, crawled slowly down from the platform, and stood quietly in front of Love.
"Seems a little sluggish?" Watching the troll's movements, Love frowned.
"Could it be that it has just started, and it will take some time to get used to?" Faulcy stood aside and analyzed.
"I don't know, I need to try again, if only there was a training ground."
As soon as he finished speaking, an extra trapdoor appeared on the ceiling of this room, and there was a folding ladder above the trapdoor.
As soon as Foxie drew her wand and tried to lower the folding ladder, Love reached out to stop her.
"No, no, no." Love snorted at his troll puppet, consuming so much magic to summon it, not to let it stand there in a daze, and Love had to use it to verify something.
"Pull the ladder down." Love gave the order.
When the troll puppet heard the command, he slowly walked under the trapdoor, slowly stretched out his arm, and pulled down the ladder on the trapdoor.
Love breathed a sigh of relief that his worst fears had not happened. What he feared most was that the puppet was too stupid to understand its instructions, or at least not know how to be flexible, and used brute force to tear the ladder down entirely.
Fortunately, on testing, these problems did not appear.
Love took the lead and climbed up the ladder to the room above. Above it was an empty house with stone tiles, the size of half a Muggle school's playground. At one end near Love, there was a pile of cushions, and at the other end of the room, there were a number of humanoid targets that seemed to be used by the young wizards to practice spells.
Foxie and Hermione followed.
"It's amazing!" Hermione had now seen the most wonderful part of the Room of Requirement.
"So two different rooms can exist at the same time?" This is where Faulconie noticed.
"Not really." Love shook his head: "The trapdoor is still open, and the two rooms are still connected, so they can only be counted as one room." β
"And what happens when you close this trapdoor?" Faucie looked at the trapdoor, ready to move.
"Wait a minute." Love hurried to the door, his troll puppet still downstairs. If he is fooled by the senior sister and loses the puppet, where will he find another one?
Ever since the command to "pull the trapdoor down", Love's trolls have been standing quietly downstairs, motionless. It appears that it will only execute one command, and then stay in place until the next command is given.
"Come up."
At Love's orders, the trolls squeezed through the trapdoor.
That is, the giant monster that became a mummy has lost a lot of weight, otherwise according to its previous size, it is not so easy to squeeze in.
When the trolls came up, Faucie closed the trapdoor. As soon as the door was closed, it could never be opened.
"This door divides the upper and lower floors, turning one room into two."
"So the rule of the Room of Requirement is, it has to be a room?"
Love nodded.
After picking up a piece of trivia that didn't have much use, they set out to test the performance of the troll mummies.
"Go, move a target, hurry up." Love is becoming more and more proficient at summoning creatures.
The troll obediently trotted into the corner and walked towards Love, holding a target.
It's just that although it's trotting, its movements are still slow and the same as adding a filter of 0.5 times the speed, but it just takes a big step, so the speed is about the same as that of ordinary people trotting.
When the troll puts the target in front of Love, Love asks him to punch the target again.
"Hold back." To be on the safe side, the Loveha target pulled a little distance.
The troll stiffened its arm, then swung it hard.
The troll's fist brought a gust of wind and landed heavily on the golem, making a loud noise that pierced its chest and sent sawdust flying.
"It's amazing." Love nodded with satisfaction, this puppet, except for moving slower, has no shortcomings.
After testing its attack power, they continued to test the speed of the puppet, and found that it could only reach the speed of everyone running at the fastest, and it was difficult for a strong "person" to go any faster.
"Shall I test its defense?" Faulcy held her wand and looked at Love's mummy, eager to try.
"Walk lightly." Love's face was full of embarrassment, but after some struggle, he agreed to Faulce's request, just asking her to put it away and not break his puppet all at once.
"Thunderbolt Explosion!"
Foxie's explosive curse hit the golem, but it didn't do much damage, only shattering the bandages on its chest, not even causing it to fall on its heels.
"Excellent defense - back to normal." Faulcy looked at Love's mummy enviously, if it weren't for the fact that the smell of living trolls was too big, she would almost have to make a troll puppet.
After a series of tests, Love determined that his Mountain Troll Mummy was a pretty good puppet: low speed, high attack and defense, and no obvious weaknesses, making it ideal for a mage to use as a meat shield.
