Chapter 309: Fighting the Dragon 3
The Plasma Crossbow was originally intended to deal with the botanical properties of the War Ancient Tree, and its effect on the dragon was discounted. However, with the salvo of the crossbowmen, with the superiority of numbers, the carefully prepared crossbow bolts still played a huge role.
The plasma brought flames and burned deep into the flesh, causing pain to the heart. The dragon let out an earth-shattering roar and slammed into the air. Large chunks of flesh were torn off their bodies in chains and fell to the ice, blood mixed with acid splattering in all directions.
It was finally freed from its shackles and desperate to escape from here.
Siegel had been prepared for such a situation. He had been standing on the tower to prevent the dragon from escaping. Like the dwarven-designed Valley of the Dragon, limiting the dragon's mobility is fundamental to combat.
The mage waved his staff in one hand and sprinkled gold dust and iron with the other. The power of the magic wrapped around the piece of iron, causing it to grow in size rapidly, and a rickety wall of iron appeared out of thin air. To say it's a wall is actually more like a beat, after all, its height is much greater than its width. The iron wall slammed to the ground, and the entire tower shook.
The dragon lifted off the ground, spitting acid downward. Kerry drew his ice spear and dodged with his companions. Several of the fighters, slowed down by their injuries, let out screams and melted into the acid.
The second spell appeared in the palm of Siegel's hand, "Mind Movement". The powerful telekinetic power exploded in an instant, forming a fist like a substance, slamming into the iron wall. Siegel poked his head out of the edge of the tower, looked in the direction the dragon had taken off, and made the final adjustments with telekinesis.
"Bastard!Die!Die!Die!" the bloodied dragon roared, turning pain into strength. Crazy attacks on surrounding buildings. Acid drilled through the shooting hole. The crossbowmen dodged in panic. But many people are still burned. However, in many windows, crossbow arrows continued to be fired, clanging into the scales of the black dragon.
Another wave of plasma bolts was about to attack, and the black dragon knew it was time to leave. Only by flying out of a certain range can you not be afraid of being countered by the spell of the mage who is hiding.
A large shadow appeared overhead, and the dragon looked up, then its eyes widened.
"Bastard...... it only had time to let out a roar before it was hit by the falling iron wall. The black dragon flips its body. He tried to throw the weight out, but he wasn't far enough from the ground to make the whole move.
The castle trembled, and many fell to the ground. The men and horses hiding in the caves screamed in surprise, but no one was allowed to leave at will without orders. The roar of the dragons outside came to an abrupt halt, which should be good news, right? But why didn't you hear the warriors' shouts of victory?
The dust was flying, and the rubble was constantly falling. The tower on which Siegel stood had cracked in half, rickety but thankfully not collapsed. There should be no warriors from the Jackdaw tribe in the courtyard just now, so there will be no accidental injuries. Only the two elements have lost contact, and I am afraid that there will be more than one luck.
Summon a gust of wind. Blowing away the smoke and dust, the body of the dragon under the iron wall was finally revealed. The dragon is still alive. Its constantly shaking body illustrates this beyond doubt. But it was clearly badly injured, with broken wings, a broken tail, and three distinct large holes in its outer skin. But the most serious wounds were small and dense, burning under the scales, emitting red flames and green electric sparks.
Kerry held the Ice Spear and walked firmly towards the black dragon. He also had a lot of crossbow wounds on his body, but luckily he pulled them all out and sealed the bleeding with ice. The dragon felt the giant's arrival through the tremor of the ground, and tried to roll his eyes, finally seeing the big man.
It opened its mouth wide and tried to spit at Kerry, but the acid was only a slender strand, and not even the ice armor burned through. Then it shouted vigorously and struggled to unleash the dragon's might, intent on sourcing the enemy. Kerry's footsteps stopped, sweat oozing through his skin and immediately frozen.
"You're all at my feet, bugs!" the black dragon saw that the enemy was standing still, thinking that he was being controlled by the dragon's might. So he pushed the iron wall on his body with his claws and gradually climbed out. It can be seen that its whole body is densely covered with small holes emitting smoke, and the smell of charcoal-grilled meat and acid transpiration is mixed and constantly emitted outward. "Your time of death is today, today!"
"That's right!" said Giant Kerry stabbed the ice spear into the dragon's eye, all the way into its brain, down to the handle. The black dragon threw his head back and lifted Kerry out of the way, reaching for his claws in an attempt to grab the handle of the gun that was exposed beyond his eyes. But now it was too late, and the power of the Ice Spear erupted, freezing all the liquid in the dragon's head, including its brain and blood. As the dragon's eyes and veins swelled, they burst outward, shattered, and lost their vitality.
The black dragon's body shook and died.
There was a cheer on the battlefield, and they finally slew the dragon. But there is no skill in the battle, and there is a death knight who is almost intact.
The Death Knight in golden armor can dispel the elemental forces around him, causing a lot of damage to Siegel's two elemental rune guards. Fortunately, the two of them were originally death squads, and there was no concept of sacrifice at all. When a mage dispels the black dragon's magic without having the energy left to replenish the rune guard's dispelled elemental power, it is only a matter of time before they are destroyed.
At the same time, the armor on the Death Knight makes it unafraid of any metal weapon, even from collapsing iron walls. In plain sight, the iron is heated, burned red, and then turned into molten iron. The Death Knight stood up from the molten iron, a giant black mace in his hand, his eyes glowing green.
Crossbow bolts flew in, some melted in the air, others bounced off the armor, none of which could damage him. The Death Knight rushes towards Kerry, and the unarmed giant has to dodge. The mace carried a strong wind, and everywhere it went, stones, dragon corpses, and metal scattered on the ground turned to powder.
Although the Death Knight is a little shorter than Kerry, he is still two meters tall and has a burly build. At the same time, he also has a high speed that is extremely incongruous with his size. Combined with the length of the mace, his range of threats quickly caught up with the speed of his opponent's tumbling. Kerry was cornered, and the mace was flying towards his chest.
"Don't hurt my king!" several warriors of the Raven tribe rushed forward and unfurled their grappling with their flesh and blood. One by one, they hung on the body of the Death Knight. Muscles are in the tightest contact with metal. Every joint of the Death Knight is in**. A tribal warrior rushed to the head of the black dragon. Ignoring the corrosion of the acid on his body, he grabbed the handle of the Ice Spear and pulled it out with all his might.
The Death Knight roared, and electricity filled the golden armor. The plasma energy of Nagkoth unleashed its power, and the warriors who hung on him were either dead or wounded. He could swing the mace again and run towards Kerry.
"Great Khan, come on!" the warrior threw the Ice Spear at with his smoky hands, giving the giant a weapon again. The mace slammed into it. Hit the shaft of the Ice Sharpshooter. The artifact was undamaged, but the giant Kerry couldn't withstand the tremendous force from the mace, and was knocked into the air, piercing a stone wall and crashing into the castle room.
"Great!" and "Chief!" shouted endlessly, and the warriors of the Raven tribe gathered around with their bare hands, even with their hands to tear off the golden armor. Even those who had been electrocuted and were not even able to stand on their feet struggled to get ready to continue fighting.
The Death Knight had other plans. He found that the Black Blood Castle was indeed well prepared, and he had formed a great restraint against the dragon. In that way, he didn't expect the relatively weaker White Dragon to turn the tide of the battle after it arrived. There are no dragons. He lost his mobility and had only one way to get off the ground - jumping. The walls are so high, and there is a valley outside, and jumping out is likely to fall to pieces. He still has a heavy responsibility to coordinate and command the orc army, and he can't be surrounded by the enemy like a death squad.
Through the gap in his armor, he saw the direction of the gate. Ordinary ferroalloy fences and gates couldn't stop him, and from there, he could go back to the valley and back into the orc troops. There are no druids, no entangled plants and ancient war trees, and no crossbows or catapults will do any harm.
So he took a step in the direction of the city gate, but he could not take a second step. He saw a mage in a red robe and a breastplate over the outside standing in front of him, holding a pure white staff in one hand and an off-white sword in the other.
"The evil spirit has stopped. Siegel dragged out in words, giving Kerry time to recover: "Puppet of Nakuth from the Void, this world does not welcome you, the creatures here do not welcome you, I do not welcome you. Go back to your void, and don't think of going back to the orcs to call the shots—they are evil, but they are still creatures of this world, not of the masters, not of your lonely, dead world. Don't you want to get past my block!"
The Death Knight stared at him closely, the golden armor glowing brightly, and even his size swelled again. Then, the light disappeared, and it seemed that the energy in his body was dissipating, but in fact the darkness was increasing. "What do you know, human mage?" said the Death Knight in a hollow, echoing tone, "Do you really understand the power of Void Annihilation?"
The mace fell hard, and the staff of defense met it. "Don't move, don't break or retreat!" Siegel said the incantation aloud, his staff glowing with a dazzling white light. The black mace with a heavy shadow slammed head-on into the defensive staff.
A tooth-souring sound was heard, and a shockwave from the impact swept across the courtyard. However, the two combatants did not move, and their weapons froze in the air. The Mage Guild's defensive staff was a perfect defense against the Plasma Rune weapons of Nakuth.
Siegel's Star Dust streaked out a gray sword light that slashed at the Death Knight's body from the bottom to the top. The Death Knight blocked with his left arm, and the energy unleashed a shield of shadows that blocked the unbladed Stardust. He took advantage of the punch, only to be blocked by Siegel again with his defensive staff.
"You're just a stake, mage!
As soon as he finished speaking, a deafening loud noise was heard, and the city wall shook, and several large stones were thrown out and landed in the corners of the courtyard. In the midst of the smoke, a tall figure walked out, holding an ice spear in one hand, plucking out his ears with the other, and then shaking off the dust dug out of his fingernails.
"What did you just say?" Kerry said. He danced a spear, and shards of ice crystals shot out like throwing knives and slammed into the Death Knight's armor. "What? I just heard Invincible, Are you looking for me?" )
