Previous Chapter

Buyi Festival

"April 8" is the eighth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar. This is the festival of the Buyi nationality to commemorate the ploughing of cattle, it is called "Ox King Festival" in Luodian and other places, it is called "Shepherd Boy Festival" in the area of Zhenning Bian Dan Mountain, and it is called "Seedling Opening Festival" in Anlong and Xingyi areas. On this day, every family eats "Niu Wang Ba" and glutinous rice, and feeds the bucket with glutinous rice or glutinous rice ba. In the Zhenning area outside Guizhou, children are also given a steamed rooster, and adults take children to the river to bathe, catch small fish, eat chicken, and bask in the sun.

There are several regions and several ethnic minorities in Guizhou who celebrate this festival, with Guiyang being the most solemn. On this day, the Miao and Buyi people from all over the country, dressed in festive costumes, gather from all directions to the fountain in the center of Guiyang, the Feiyun Cliff in Huangping or some other places, blowing reeds, dong flutes, piccolo, etc., singing love songs to find a partner. Middle-aged people gather to talk about the past and the present, and hold various activities. From day to night, from night to dawn, all night long, enjoy yourself.

Gelao Festival

Also known as the "Ox King's Day", the Gelao people are a mountainous ethnic group with a small population in China. They call themselves "Ling" and "Jin". The Zhuang people call it "Bujin", and the Han people call it "Mu Lao".

Oxen are industrious and capable, ploughing the fields for the people, obscure, hard-working, all they need is grass and water, but they have much to give. Therefore, many ethnic groups worship and care for cows, and regard them as good friends of human beings, and the Gelao people are no exception. The eighth day of the fourth lunar month is designated as the birthday of the ox, called the "Ox's birthday". On this day, no matter how busy the farm work is, the cattle must be given a holiday to rest.

Families washed their cattle cleanly, cleaned their pens and planted maple branches at the gate to keep mosquitoes and flies away. And kill chickens and ducks, prepare wine and meat to sacrifice to the "cow pen god", and make black glutinous rice to sacrifice to the ancestors. On this day, the cattle should be fed with good feed, and the cooked black glutinous rice should be eaten by the cow first, and then eaten. People with good family backgrounds also make soybeans and corn, mix them with egg lees and feed them to the cows, which can really be said to be very protective of the cows.

There is also a beautiful and moving legend about the birthday of the cow. Legend has it that in ancient times, the ancestors of the Gelao people cultivated the fields and dug them with a pickaxe and a hoe, which was time-consuming and laborious. A girl named Luo Ying was born smart, hardworking and kind. One day she went hunting in the mountains, and saw a wild buffalo running wildly, and saw the villagers sweating in the fields, and thought to herself, how nice it would be if she caught this cow and ploughed the fields for the villagers! So, she chased the bison. The bison was running with one hoof caught in a crack in the rock, and he was crying in pain. Luo Ying was powerless to help it get out of the predicament, so he had to pick tender grass to feed it, and sing for it, the singing voice was excellent and sincere, not only touched the heart of the bison, but also moved the mountain flowers, grass and trees, the moon, and the hard stone was also moved by it, slowly cracking the stone cracks, and the cow's feet were pulled out. It followed Luo Ying to the field, diligently dragging plows and rakes for people, and cultivating the fields for generations. The Gelao people have ploughing oxen, and the way to work in the fields is much easier.

In short, on the day of April 8th, in different regions, different ethnic groups have their own unique significance, and Bai Ye and others were very lucky to come to a place inhabited by many ethnic groups.

After Boss Cheng greeted the helper who came to help slaughter the cattle, he said to the big guy: "Hey, the cattle will be slaughtered in a while, if you don't dare to look at it, go to the front to rest for a while." ”

Song Zisu chuckled lightly and said, "Boss Cheng, don't underestimate us!" Don't say it's slaughtering a cow, I don't have to be afraid of you opening a slaughterhouse here! ”

"Yo! The little girl can't see it, and she's not small. It's okay, you can watch it if you want, just stand farther away for a while, in case you don't hold the cow, I don't care if it runs up and hits you! ”

After saying that, Boss Cheng went to prepare tools with a few prime of men.

"Zhuangzi Health Master": "Ku Ding is Wen Huijun's cow relief." The touch of the hand, the leaning of the shoulder, the foot, the knee crossing, the sound of the sword, all the alto. [2] Moon Hye-jun admired the skill of his skills. Ku Ding Shi Dao Yun: Thousands of cattle were slaughtered in his life, and now when he slaughters cattle, he is all lucky, and his eyes are "not seen all cattle", and the knife enters the cow body if "there is no thick into the room" and is at ease. Therefore, although the knife has been used for 19 years, its sharpness is still 'if it is new'. ”

In the interval between Boss Cheng and others preparing tools, Brother Dong suddenly thought of the story of Ku Ding's solution to the cow: "Seeing this scene, I can't help but think of the story of Ku Ding's cow relief, and today I can finally take a look at how to solve the cow!" ”

Among the people in this group, Bai Ye and Xiuzhu have never read a book and don't know this story yet.

"Brother Dong, you tell me and Xiuzhu about Cooking, but we don't know if we are uneducated."

He Chaoqun quipped: "The two of us here who have strange abilities are uneducated, it's a shame to say it hahaha!" It seems that when I go back after completing the task this time, I want to make up for the two of you! I'll talk about this cooking, as soon as Brother Dong opened his mouth, he said, but it's boring!

In the cool autumn season, the sky is high and the clouds are light, Zhuangzi walked to the pasture on the north bank of Pushui, only to see the cattle everywhere, he stroked his beard, intoxicated.

Zhuangzi suddenly remembered that Ku Ding was going to participate in a skills competition today, so he walked quickly.

I saw Ku Ding's eyes concentrating, lifting his qi and closing his abdomen, and his luck dantian, his expression was dignified, he was full of strength, wielding a knife, dancing up and down with cold light, splitting like lightning sweeping the sky, stabbing like thunder breaking the mountains, only to hear a bang, the big cow fell to the ground in response.

Then look at Ku Ding's palm stretched out here, his shoulders pushed to that side, stretched his feet down, and bent his knees to that side, his movements were light and flexible. Ku Ding stabbed the butcher knife into the cow, and the sound of the skin and bones peeling off the flesh and bones matched with the movements of his knife, which seemed to be so harmonious and beautiful. It's like dancing to the music "Mulberry Forest" from the Shang Tang era, and the sound of the ox is also very in tune with Yaole's "Jing Shou", such a scene is really wonderful. After a while, a "bang" was heard, and the whole cow disintegrated.

Wen Huijun, who was standing on the side, was stunned, and he couldn't help but exclaim: "Ah, it's amazing! How can you be so skilled in slaughtering cattle? ”

Seeing this, Ku Ding hurriedly put down the butcher knife and said to King Liang Hui: "I like to explore the laws of things in my work, because this is a step higher than ordinary technical skills. When I first learned how to slaughter cows, I didn't know the body structure of cows, and all I saw was a huge cow, but after I had three years of cattle slaughtering experience, I had a complete understanding of the structure of cows. Now that I have slaughtered more cows, I only need to touch the cow with my heart, not with my eyes. ”

"I've been using this knife for 19 years, and I've slaughtered more than a thousand cows, but the edge is as sharp as if it had just been sharpened on a whetstone."

In the full house of cheers, Ku Ding easily won the championship. ”
