Volume 3 Eventful Chapter 78 If you want to be white, you can be white
Hearing that Master Qishan asked Sangsang to join him to join the Buddha, Ning Que's face didn't react much except for some surprise, but in fact, there were already a lot of waves in his heart.
Let Sangsang go to practice Buddhism? Then in the future, when he is cured, he will have to recite sutras in the Buddhist hall for a lifetime and eat vegetarian for a lifetime? Although my Sangsang has yellow and wilted hair, he is not qualified to say what kind of 3,000 green silk it is, but it is not appropriate to cut it all, right?
Ning Que naturally had these thoughts, and then he remembered the evaluation that Second Master Brother Chalk had made about the world's chalk sect, and felt more and more that there were some problems hidden in Master Qishan's mention.
βThe two Taoist and Buddhist families, the favorite thing to do is to use fear to suppress people's reason, and then promise a better future to tempt people's chalky idiocy, so that people will listen to their words and dare not question them in the slightest.
Master Qishan first said that the cold breath in Sangsang's body was so terrifying, and just when he was about to despair, he suddenly said that he wanted Sangsang to cultivate Buddhism, which was really like the Taoist monks in the Taoist Buddhist temple who persuaded the old ladies to donate money.
Ning Que looked slightly, but he felt that he seemed to be thinking too much, no matter how the master looked at it, he didn't look like this kind of person, and Sangsang's body was very important, and the master expressed his last hope on behalf of Sangsang, so he took a deep breath and asked as calmly as possible: "Why do you want Sangsang to cultivate Buddha?"
Where did Master Qishan think of it, he just mentioned yΓ¬, and let Ning Que think about so many things in such a short period of time, and said kindly: "It is said that Buddhism pays attention to the purification of sentient beings, in fact, this statement is very false, even before the death of the Buddha, it is impossible to do any Buddha who says that he wants to purify sentient beings, it is a false Buddha, because this is originally a delusion, and the so-called Buddha cultivation is only himself, seeking the liberation of his own flesh and spirit." β
Ning Que said: "I have also read two Buddhist chalk scriptures in the mountains behind the academy, and I probably know some of the principles of cultivating Buddha, and the master doesn't need to talk about it in such detail, I just want to know what this has to do with Sangsang's illness." β
Master Qishan said: "Sangsang is a thousand worlds of chalk, and the chalk naturally cannot expel or eliminate the cold breath in her body, but Buddhism is different, what Buddhism seeks is not to suppress chalk pressure but to liberate it, which will not cause the hostility of that cold breath, and can even make that cold breath enlighten in front of the Buddha and liberate itself." β
Listening to this seemingly whimsical but carefully pondered words that seemed to make some sense, Ning Que was stunned for a long time, and asked with a little confusion: "Then what realm do you have to cultivate Buddha to relieve that cold breath?"
Master Qishan untied a string of tiger peach wood prayer beads from his wrist, rested on the ground in front of the chalk group, looked at Sang Sang and said calmly: "If she can become a Buddha once, she will naturally be able to get great liberation." β
Ning Que said slightly: "Master, you are joking, for countless years, the Buddha has become a Buddha by himself, even if Sangsang is really related to the Buddha, how can he cultivate to that realm?"
Master Qishan smiled and said, "When she was a dying baby girl, did you ever think that one day she would become the chalky daughter of the Xiling Temple?
Ning Que said: "Even if my family Sangsang is really the most amazing cultivator in tens of thousands of years, but master, if you want to become a Buddha, it must not be something that can be done in a short period of time, and it is too late in time. β
Master Qishan asked, "Can you think of a better way?"
Ning Que was stunned and said, "No." β
Master Qishan said, "Then, cultivating Buddha is the only way to cure her. β
The only way, the best way. This is a truth that all the academy disciples understand very well, and Ning Que naturally understands it, thinking that Sang Sang's condition may recur at any time, time is precious, and he didn't think about it for a longer time, so he made a decision.
And before he made his decision, he certainly didn't forget that very important thing.
He looked at Master Qishan and asked seriously: "Does Sangsang need to shave her head to be a nun?" Of course, there is no problem in being a nun for a few years in order to cure her illness, but if her illness is really cured in the future, will your Buddhism cry and shout that she will not be allowed to return to the world, and insist that she sit on the lotus seat and be worshiped by those monks?"
Master Qishan looked at him in a daze, and was surprised that the problem he was most concerned about was actually this, and sighed: "You can practice at home, and naturally you don't need her to shave her hair and become a nun." β
As long as Sang Sang does not become an old nun with a hateful face like Qu Ni Ma Di, in order to cure the disease, Ning Que is willing to bear any other price, hearing this, he immediately felt at ease, and said without hesitation: "Master, please." β
Naturally, it is not a matter of asking for a seat, but of asking Master Qishan to start teaching Sangsang Buddhism.
Although there are also many Buddhist chalk scriptures in the mountains behind the academy, Ning Que understands that since the old chalk master let him bring Sangsang to the Langke Temple, then only Master Qishan can be the old chalk master of Sangsang.
Sang Sang had a very tacit understanding with him, and when he heard this, he knelt on the chalk and bowed down to Master Qishan.
Master Qishan laughed heartily and said, "When the old man is about to die, he still has the opportunity to accept such a great apprentice...... Buddhism abstains from hatred and greed, but thinking that maybe my name can be recorded on the Buddha chalk sutra because of this disciple and passed down for thousands of generations, my Zen heart, which has long been undisturbed by external objects, is a little excited. β
Ning Que was in a very good mood and said, "Guanhai was robbed of the position of the chalk of the closed disciple, or even more excited and annoyed. β
Master Qishan smiled and said, "I really don't know how the master accepted such a naughty student as you. β
Ning Que said with a smile: "The old chalkmaster is often angry with me and blows his beard, and he doesn't take care of me. β
The laughter faded, and the cave was quiet.
Master Qishan looked at Sangsang and said: "Countless years ago, the great Zen master Youpo, who inherited the wisdom of the Buddha, created his own impure view, and obtained the method of reading, which is the convenient chalk door in the Zen method mentioned by Buddhism today. β
The master also said: "If you are disgusted, take a black stone and put it in front of you, if you have a good chalk thought, put a white stone in front of you, and gradually practice until the number of white stones and black chess pieces is equal, until your heart turns pure, the black stone is gradually exhausted, and only the white stone is left in front of you." β
Sangsang said: "I wish to be taught by the master." β
Master Qishan shook his head with a smile and said: "The so-called black and white is the matter of chess, and the so-called chalk gate is the matter of chess. β
Sang Sang was a little puzzled and asked, "Black is black, white is white, how to change?"
Master Qishan took out a black chess piece and rested it in the tiger mahogany bracelet from earlier.
Then he looked at Sangsang and said, "If you want it to be white, it can be white." β
Sang Sang looked at the black chess piece and suddenly felt a little familiar.
There are many black pieces in the chess basket, and they all look very similar, almost identical.
But she could see even the slightest differences between the pieces.
She remembered that the black chess piece was the one she had dropped on the chessboard in the afternoon.
(The third chapter is sent, two thousand words, and the next chapter is four thousand, because the leader shouts to eat, and there is still wood to eat for dinner today, and the fourth chapter will be a little later.) οΌ
