About the Author
Karma Rinpoche (Tulku Yanban Shere Shosen) was born in 1968 in Markang County, Sichuan-Tibet. Since childhood, he has studied with Khenpo Thubten Chokyi Drakpa Rinpoche, and has been awarded by his master for his talents in language and translation, and proficient in sutra and esoteric teachings
"Khenpo" degree. In addition, he was certified by His Holiness Mozha of Nyingmapa Gatuo Monastery as the reincarnation of Shire Shoshsen, one of the three enlightened disciples of Yuzha Ningbo Translator and Patriarch of Katuo Monastery Danba Dexie.
He is currently the abbot of Nyingma Pachanglie Monastery (located in Malkang County, Sichuan-Tibet). Since he was a teenager, Rinpoche has been promoting the Dharma and benefiting people since he was a teenager, and has continued to do so throughout the year, building and managing Buddhist institutes, sponsoring other monasteries and practitioners, supporting the construction of Hope Primary Schools and homes for the elderly in Tibetan areas, guiding his disciples to establish charitable organizations, and participating in earthquake relief efforts many times.
The group of monks and laymen led by him has also been committed to supporting the Dharma and benefiting the public for many years.
Rinpoche attaches great importance to the education of Buddhism, which emphasizes both knowledge and action, and deeply believes that the only way to benefit others in the long run is to take root in education.
For more than 20 years, Rinpoche has managed and supported several Buddhist institutes and has produced many outstanding monks, who have also traveled to Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, and the United States to systematically teach Buddhism.
In recent years, he has often gone deep into remote Tibetan areas to teach the teachings, benefiting a large number of people who are destined to do so, and has had a far-reaching impact.
