Look at yourself in the mirror of the Dharma

In modern Western countries, industry, commerce and high technology are very developed, and people's hearts are generally empty, so Buddhism is regarded as a nourishment

"Spiritual Food" or

"Recipe for the Heart". In many countries in Southeast Asia, the practice of Esoteric Buddhism is regarded as a secret recipe that can quickly solve practical worldly problems or achieve one's own selfish desires.

Both of these attitudes towards Buddhism are incorrect. If Tantra satisfies the world's desires in this way, it is not in accordance with the Dharma law of reincarnation of cause and effect.

Whether it is sutra or esoteric teaching, it is all about learning the principle of choosing between good and evil, so that we can change our concept of self-grasping from our daily life and slowly accumulate good karma, so that we can always feel peace and happiness in our minds.

Happy people are people who are kind in their hearts, surpass themselves, and can think about others. A selfish person will slowly degenerate in his heart, and in the end, in order to achieve selfish interests, he will often hurt others, and as a result, everyone will rebel and leave their relatives.

One should have self-confidence, but being overly self-absorbed is a disservice. Therefore, in order to elevate the mind and change the afflictions caused by greed, hatred, and jealousy, it is necessary to improve it through an understanding of the heart and giving to others.

On the spiritual level, we should use the Dharma as a mirror to constantly reflect on our own body, mouth, and mind, instead of allowing our body and mouth to project outwards and use the Dharma as a tool to examine and criticize others.

The Buddha spoke the most

"Look inwardly". On the other hand, the more time you have, the more time you have to practice, and the more time you will be able to dissect the world's troubles and know how they lead to goodness.

The longer some people study Buddhism, the more inclined they are to observe others rather than themselves, and whenever they discuss and argue with others about the Dharma, they do so for the purpose of showing their own qualifications and knowledge of Buddhism, but they are unable to put the Dharma into practice in themselves

"Buddha oil", this kind of person is actually more unable to subdue his mind than a beginner. Sometimes, on the contrary, the faith and devotion of the first students of Buddhism are stronger.

After entering Buddhism for a long time, it is easy to be affected by external phenomena and confuse the clarity of the inner mind. Even if a monk who is respected and sits on a throne does not look back at his own mind and understand that it is the Buddha and the Dharma that everyone admires, and not the ordinary body of the monks themselves, they will develop a desire to pay tribute to the ego and be slow, and this will become the cause of falling into bad pleasures.

The difference between a Buddha and sentient beings is that a Buddha serves sentient beings and relies on sentient beings to achieve himself, while sentient beings serve themselves and fall into samsara and suffer.

"Learning Buddhism" is

"Learn the spirit of the Buddha", do not harm sentient beings, so that you can be happy; We should think more about the mentality of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and we must be able to have the desire to benefit sentient beings.

It's not enough to have the ability to wish, but also to be able to

"OK", in

In the process of "doing", it is necessary to constantly observe for a long time to see whether you are surviving by hurting others and gaining self-interest, or whether you are surpassing yourself and benefiting others.

Some people make a lot of vows and do a lot of things, but they still have a backsliding because they have less time to observe themselves internally.

So, to maintain the good quality of the mind, you have to practice for a long time.

"Cultivation" is to observe one's own heart, keep it in the present moment of goodness and wisdom, and then continue it and give for the benefit of sentient beings in the six realms.

And these are only compassion, not bodhichitta, which is the short-term happiness of human beings and the ultimate Buddhahood.

Buddhism teaches people to do good, and the more kind people in a group who can give and give to others regardless of relatives or relatives, the cultivation of the whole group will improve.

We must always be vigilant in our hearts, remove the darkness in our hearts, give rise to the light of wisdom in our hearts, and pray for the world, the country, the society, and even for every living being who needs spiritual light.

The role of the mirror of the Dharma is always for us to reflect on ourselves, not for us to look at others.

Through the mirror of the Dharma, we can not only see the cause of our suffering, but also generate good thoughts that are blinded by karmic habits.

In life, we all need to constantly observe our appearance through the mirror, so the wisdom of survival also requires us to use the mirror of Buddhism to illuminate our hearts.
