Are you religious?

The Buddhist scriptures say, "A person who is not pious will not have good karma in him, just as a rotten seed will not sprout!" Guru Padmasambhava also said, "Whoever has a pious heart, whether male or female, Guru Rinpoche does not go anywhere else, but sleeps at the door of his house." He said, "My life span is not death or birth, and in front of every pure believer, there is a Lotus Master." This means that as long as we are pious, there is no difference between Guru Rinpoche and us. Guru Padmasambhava is not in the auspicious bronze mountain lotus light palace, but next to everyone!

That's what we said

"Thousands of rivers have water, thousands of rivers and moons" have the same meaning: there are thousands of rivers, and a moon in the sky can shine on every river, and every river can reflect the same moon and show the same moonlight.

What is the importance of piety? The Buddha said that all dharmas must depend on good knowledge, and that the Lord of all special things is good knowledge.

The Dharma is vast, there are 84,000 different methods, and the Buddha has attained Nirvana, and we don't know how to condense it into practice, and in this life we can collect it and tell it to us, and we can rely on the skill they have gained in the process of practice to teach us, only good knowledge.

Even if we are able to recite the sutras, explain the sutras, be very good at all the theories of the Dharma, and deal with external things very well, but in the practice of practice, if we do not rely on the personal experience of good knowledge to learn, then it will be difficult for the Dharma you have learned to be in harmony with everything you have done.

What is true piety? It is easier for a person to develop piety at first, but it is more difficult to maintain the faith in his heart for a long time without letting it retreat, and this kind of faith that does not retreat is true piety.

When someone asks you to choose between life and faith, you can choose faith when your life is at stake.

Otherwise, piety to us will be like a little light in a clear sky, still unstable, receding, and only occasionally rising.

Because we are seeking the Dharma in the world, if life does not go well, our faith in the Dharma will be doubted and regressed after encountering setbacks.

Piety is so special and important, but many people are hurt and go astray without knowing it because the object of piety is not necessarily a pure faith in the Dharma.

It's like driving, before stepping on the accelerator, you must find the right direction first, otherwise you will drive farther and farther. Therefore, you should always have a pure desire to come across the Fa-rectification and the good knowledge of the Dharma, so that it will be easy for you to connect with the good causes and conditions to learn the Fa.

If you can rely on a good practitioner, a good person who really has compassion, bodhichitta, renunciation and great wisdom, you must grasp it well and don't miss it!

Because karma is the same as impermanence, if you don't cherish it, you will go quickly! Piety is like a radio, it not only connects to the channel of our compassion and good thoughts, but also to the compassionate wishes and blessings of wisdom that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas continue to pass on.

The prerequisite for practicing Buddhism is to be devoted. Because devotion is as indispensable to the knowledge and contemplation of the Dharma as we need air and sunlight in our normal lives.
