Chapter 239: Thor in the Iron Cage

Chapter 239: Thor in the Iron Cage

Clark is about to leave Kama Taj and the end of one battle could herald the beginning of the next.

"Clark, it's time for you to go." A voice rang out, and Clark searched around, knowing it was the Ancient One.

"Where are you? Why don't you come out and say goodbye?" Clark looked around, but there was no sign of the Ancient One.

"I need time to recover, Clark, and I'll let go of the dark power I've been drawing on."

"And what about Stephen?"

"Stephen will need time to get used to his status as the Supreme Venerable, and he will become a good mage. I know that the things in you that don't belong to this universe will give you a lot of power, so use this power to protect the world."

"Goodbye, Ancient One."

"Goodbye, Clark."

Silence returned, and the Ancient One was gone, and she still had no pavement. Clark understands that he doesn't have much time to rest and that he still has a long way to go. He knew that Thor, the god of thunder, was still tied up in a cage. As a traverser, he also has his own destiny.

Fighting with the Avengers and saving the world is Clark's destiny.

"Oh, I know what you're thinking. You must be thinking, "Oh no, Thor is in a cage, what's going on?" Sometimes, you have to get caught before you can get someone to ask why."

Thor, the god of thunder, was tied to an iron cage with iron chains, and not only his hands and feet were firmly trapped, but even his whole body and limbs were tightly bound by iron chains.

"It's a long story, but actually, I'm a hero." Thor said as he looked up, he couldn't move anywhere in his body, the only thing he could move was his mouth and eyes.

He went on to introduce his life: "I went to Earth for a while, fought a few robots, saved the Earth a few times, and then I went to the universe to find a few magical colorful Infinity Stones, but unfortunately I didn't find them."

Reflecting on his past, Thor continued thoughtfully, "This is when I encountered a path of death and destruction, and thus ended up in this cage." Thor looked around, then nodded slightly, looking across the side.

"And then I met you!" Thor said, looking at the other side.

At this time, sitting opposite Thor was a white skeleton, after an unknown number of years of captivity, the former appearance was long gone, and the white bones still bound by iron chains could not see any of the past.

Bone's jaw fell off, and Thor heard a rumbling sound around him, his eyes looking left and right. Then he asked the white bone on the other side, "How long do you think we're going to stay here?"

Suddenly, the bottom of the cage opened, and Thor fell. But he still had chains tied to him.

The moment he was about to fall to the ground, the length of the chain saved him, and Thor was suspended in the air, just twenty centimeters above the ground.

There was a lot of magma on the ground that was still spitting red flames, shining with orange light all around. Due to inertia, Thor is driven by chains, slowly spinning in the air.

"Thor, son of Odin." The Flame Giant, sitting on the high platform, whispered to Thor. His eyes and body glowed with flames.

"Surter, son of the Eighth King, you are still alive." Thor's mouth was never at a loss, he smiled and continued, "I thought my dad would have killed you a long time ago, and that was half a million years ago."

Surtr had horns and flames burning all over his body, and he said to Thor dismissively, "It's not so easy for you to dream, at least until I finish my destiny and destroy your home."

"It's kind of strange to talk about it, if you say that, because I've been having nightmares lately, and I've dreamed that Asgard is a ruin in a sea of fire. And you, Surtr, stand in the middle of the ruins." Thor continued to say to Surtr.

"Then you've seen the twilight of the gods. With the fall of Asgard, great words are about to come true." Surtr said excitedly.

Haven't waited for Sue yet

After Tell finished speaking, the chain inertia turned Thor in the other direction, and Thor exclaimed, "Wait, wait a minute, I'll turn around, I think we have a common language." Thor continued to quip.

Thor turned to face Surtr again, "Alright, now you go ahead and talk to me, Ragnarok, you tell me in detail what this means."

Half-nestled on the high stairs, Surtr watched Thor and continued, "The end is near, and when my crown is reunited with the Eternal Flame, my power will awaken again, when the king will reign on the mountains and pierce my sword through Asgard......

"Wait, don't worry." Thor interrupted Surtr. He hung in the air and turned his back to Surtr: "I swear I didn't move, it was this thing moving on its own. I'm so embarrassed."

As Thor turned back to face Surtr, he continued, "All right, so what I understand is that you are going to put your crown into the Eternal Flame, and then you will be the size of a house."

Surter corrected him and said, "It's a mountain."

Thor continued, "The Eternal Flame that Odin locked in Asgard?"

Surtr leaned back in his chair and continued, "Odin is not in Asgard now, and you are not here now, this is when the throne is empty." Surtr smiled, and the flames spread across his face.

"Well, where's your crown?" Thor asked.

"This is my crown, the source of my strength." Surtr said, pointing to the horn-like things on either side of his head.

"That's your crown, huh? I thought it was a horn stuck in your head or something like a big eyebrow." Thor quipped.

Surtr said with certainty, "This is the crown!"

"Oh, well, you say yes, but anyway, it looks like I'm going to have to get that thing off your head if I want to stop Ragnarok."

Surtr laughed when he heard this, he slowly stood up, walked down the high steps and continued to say to Thor, "But Ragnarok has already begun, and you can't stop it at all."

Surtr dragged a flaming broadsword down the stairs and towards Thor, a glimmer of flame erupting from the ground where the broadsword slashed.

Surtr grabbed Thor's chains, lifted him up in front of him, and continued, "I am the destroyer of Asgard, and so are you, everything will be doomed, everything will be burned in the flames."

Surtr's flaming face approached Thor, who felt the power of the flames, his face fiery.

"It's so exciting, and to be honest, I'm really looking forward to watching you turn into a flame giant and set the whole planet on fire." Thor smiled and continued, "But I'm sorry, I'm going to have to make a backup plan, I'm going to break free of these chains and chisel the phoenix crown off your head. Locked in a treasure trove in Asgard."

Surtr looked down at Thor, "You can't stop Ragnarok, don't you give up?"

"Because that's what heroes do." Thor wanted to summon his hammer, but his palms opened, but the hammer didn't appear.

"I'm sorry, I didn't count the time."
