Chapter 132: Little Jordan's Diary (Fifth Update)

My name is DeAndre Jordan and I speak for myself.

When the 2009-2010 season began, I felt like there was a sense of hope from top to bottom of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The parachuted manager Smart Min brought a very different atmosphere to the team.

When I first arrived at the Clippers last year, I was in despair, this is a cursed team.

The biggest feeling I have from the whole team is that I don't feel anything, and everyone has to get by with everything.

Now it's different, I'm going to change myself!

I decided to keep a diary of the season's events and see how I've improved.

……

Thursday, June 25th, Weather: Rain, Notes: 2009 Draft

Smart selected Stephen Curry from Davis University in the draft.

He was a lunatic scorer, and his performance in the 2008 NCAA was nothing short of godlike.

But everyone said they were going to pick Griffin, and it felt like all the management was crazy.

……

Monday, June 29, Weather: Sunny, Note: The first day of Summer League Camp.

The first time Mr. Smart came to the training center to watch the team practice, I felt that his eyes were as sharp as a wolf.

There was a chilling sensation as it swept over me.

I felt like I had to train harder, otherwise I risked being traded.

……

Sunday, July 12, Weather: Sunny, Note: Las Vegas Summer League begins.

Mr. Smart booked us the best Caesars Palace hotel, which was really luxurious.

Last year's summer league was at the Express Hotel, and Mr. Smart was much more generous than Sterling.

Oh yes, Sterling hasn't been seen since the start of the new season, and everyone is wondering if he's dead.

……

Saturday, October 20, Weather: Sunny Remarks: Preseason

Something big happened, Randolph and two Davis beat people up in a nightclub.

But Mr. Smart strongly supported the two, and it was later proved that the beaten person had racist remarks!

Randolph they fought well and are the heroes of our blacks!

Strongly support Mr. Smart!

……

Tuesday, October 27th, Weather: Cloudy, Note: NBA Regular Season Opener.

An exciting game, playing away from the Staples Centre.

In the end, we won the game!

Stephen Curry hit a crucial three-pointer! Fisher failed.

So excited! I didn't play a minute, but I worked the sidelines.

Mr. Smart is very calm, and I admire how calm he is.

Also, Curry is amazing.

……

Thursday, November 19th, Weather: Rain, Note: A rare day off.

The team started the season well and we won three in a row, a beautiful victory.

Randolph played very well, and the management suddenly announced an early renewal of Randolph!

71 million in 4 years, my God, when will I get such a big contract?

I feel like the whole team is getting motivated and wants to get a big contract.

……

Monday, November 30th, Weather: Rain, Remarks: Closed.

Jordan Peel and Michael Kee are two guys back on the team to shoot a short film.

This time, the whole team went out in the locker room to make a film called "Addiction Diary".

I almost died laughing when I saw the script, Baron Davis plays a guy with an ass addiction.

I swear, usually Baron Davis isn't like that, but he plays it so well.

……

Sunday, December 13th, weather: sunny, note: game day against Spurs.

We lost to Spurs at the Staples Centre and I played badly.

Coach Dunleavy has been expanding his rotation lately, and the playing time of his substitutes has increased.

Our results are also declining, and we don't know why.

I heard that Mr. Smart instructed him, and he must have some long-term plan.

……

Monday, December 21, Weather: Sunny, Remarks: Away to Spurs.

We played Spurs again after a week and this long road trip finally felt Mr. Smart's good intentions!

After trailing by 11 points in the first half, the whole team exploded in the second half, with Curry scoring 18 points in the third quarter.

I came out in the fourth quarter and received two dunks from Curry.

I also gave Duncan a big hat, and it was Tim Duncan!

I sealed him! So excited! We won!

But for some reason, Mr. Smart didn't look very happy.

He made $20,000 on a half-court shot and scolded us.

The first time he scolded us in a game, everyone was ashamed.

……

Friday, December 25, Weather: Sunny, Remarks: Christmas, Christmas War.

I can't spend Christmas in Los Angeles, I have to fight a Christmas battle with the Suns in Phoenix.

This one was broadcast live across the United States, and the game was so intense that my palms were sweating as I watched from the bench.

In the first half, we were beaten to the point where we couldn't change hands and trailed by 21 points.

But in the third quarter, we were united and chased back.

It was Curry's play in the third quarter again, and he shot a three-pointer like crazy.

As soon as a block comes out and there is a gap, he throws a three-pointer, and I've never seen a three-point shot like this.

But he went in, I can't remember how many I entered, I think there were 10? I really can't remember.

Anyway, we caught up all the way and at the end of the game we tied with one minute left.

It's crazy, what's even crazier is that Randolph finally catches the ball and lays up to kill the Suns!

The whole team went crazy at the end of the game, this is the best Christmas present!

Really, I love the Clippers and I'm retiring here!

……

Sunday, December 27, Weather: Rain, Notes: End of the road trip back to Los Angeles.

The long road trip is finally over and it feels so good to be back in Los Angeles, it's raining but it's warm.

We have a 5-1 record in six games, which couldn't be better, and this season we have a chance to make the playoffs!

Today's opponent is a super strong Celtic, and it is really tense to play against Kevin Garnett.

This guy's mouth really stinks, and I was almost scolded to death when I played against him last season.

Randolph missed with a minor injury, Gordon returned, and Coach Dunleavy started me!

But this time we played well and Carman broke out again.

With Garnett scoring 27 points, we won the game!

I did my job well, with six points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

I think it's fantastic, I love the Clippers and we're going to get better and better!

……

Tuesday, December 29, Weather: Rain, Remarks: None.

I was really hurt today, I was supposed to get up in the morning to go to the airport, and everyone was going to fly to Portland.

But Mr. Olchea called me out of the blue and told me not to go to Portland because I was traded.

I was traded to Memphis, along with Chris Carman, in exchange for Mark Gasol, Jaric and a first-round pick!

I can't accept it, why am I being traded? Will it be traded to Memphis?

Or with Carman, Carman's performance can be an All-Star!

Just swap back one Marc Gasol and Jarich!

Jaric isn't playing in the NBA anymore, he's trying to tie a contract.

My God, I'm not good, my God, I hate the world.

I don't love clippers anymore, I don't believe in the world anymore!

……

Wednesday, December 30th, Weather: Fine, Note: I came to Memphis.

The first day I came to Memphis, it felt pretty good, Elvis Presley's hometown.

I met Blake Griffin at the training centre and he's still recovering from injury.

I heard that the recovery is not very good, and if you want surgery, it will be completely reimbursed.

The burritos here are really good, and the citizens are very rustic, okay.

I'm going to forget about my pain in Los Angeles and start over!

Griffin says he hates the Clippers and Smart and wants revenge one day.

I agree, I'll get my revenge too, I'll hurry up and be a starter!

……

Saturday, January 2, Weather: Cloudy, Notes: New Year 2010.

Go to Phoenix to play away.

Substitute, I was blown up by Amare Stoudemire.

People are not good, there is no hope for this team.

Forget it, I don't want to keep a diary, just mix it up.

Serious people who write diaries.
