Chapter 354: Tang Sen: I'm from another world
"I've never experienced such an easy fight."
Looking at the fragments of the Eye Demon Zombies all over the ground, Barn said in a somewhat complicated tone.
"The caster accomplished everything, and I didn't even have the need to wield a hammer."
"Not all spellcasters are weak guys, but in my opinion-" The warrior monk paused, "Even a mage above the seventh ring may not be able to do such a thing." β
"I didn't notice that you used spellcasting materials, and even the spellcasting gestures were very simple and rude." Trish whispered, "And it's too fast, even if it's a trick of the zero ring, I shouldn't be so fast." β
"It's not logical." She concluded.
"I never said I was a mage." Townsend replied earnestly, "Maybe I'm closer to a warlock." β
The difference between a warlock and a mage is that a mage relies on knowledge to cast spells, and they always need to obtain the power of magic through long-term study and research, while a warlock, relying on their own blood or unexpected encounters.
"With all due respect, I've seen the Warlocks of the High Rings, and you" Barn looked up at Tang Sen and said, "I'm not saying you're not good-looking, but compared to the Warlocks who even blush as female dwarves, it's a big difference." β
Warlocks are charismatic.
"I'm not a high-ring warlock either." Tang Sen smiled: "Actually, my situation may not be what you imagined. β
"I'm from another world."
Townsend doesn't shy away from saying this.
The four people present were stunned for a moment, and the warrior monk asked with some uncertainty, "Are you talking about other planes?" I've heard similar stories from bards about powerful spellcasters who are able to open portals to the Atlas and travel freely between the main material planes and even the astral planes. β
"The history of the dwarves is also recorded." Barn said: "Many of the races in Faeron actually have ancestors from other planes, and in the earliest days, the elves were the most numerous races on the continent. β
"I don't know that." Trish blushed and said, "I'm only half-elf, after all. β
"The accident you've experienced must be more exaggerated than I thought." Barn quickly accepted this and became excited: "Encountering visitors from another world in the course of your adventure and fighting together against the evil that threatens the whole world is a legendary adventure!" β
"We're just fighting some zombies and the undead." The warrior monk pointed this out bluntly: "And in fact, it is only Mr. Townsend who contributes. β
Barn didn't care about this at all, and he asked with interest, "Spellcaster, what does the other world look like?" Are there dwarves there? What do they eat? β
"I'm sure dwarves aren't endemic to this world, but I've seen more humans, and I used to be a professor at a place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is where my spellcasting ability comes from," Tang Sen laughed. β
"As for the eating habitsβ"
Townsend looked at the Eye Demon Zombies.
The various monsters in this world contain extraordinary characteristics that are much stronger than the magical beasts of the Harry Potter world, and Tang Sen is very sure that if he devours the Eye Demon Zombies, there is a high probability that he will be able to obtain a lot of magic power, magic resistance, and even the unique ability to shoot rays from the Eye Demon.
"You're not quite right in your eyes." Barn was taken aback: "Do you people there even eat zombies?" β
"No, forget it this time."
Tang Sen shook his head regretfully.
Zombie flesh was a bit too disgusting, and Townsend didn't want to include the undead in his recipe if it wasn't necessary.
"This is not the place to discuss food and drink." Townsend interrupted the conversation: "I think we should move on. β
"A wise choice." Barn muttered, "This topic has already made me sick to my stomach, if we can get out of this hellish place, I will definitely give you a taste of the dwarven craft." β
He added, "I don't think as sapient creatures, zombies should never be on the menu, I mean. At least not really! β
"Dwarven craftβ" Townsend turned slightly pale.
Dead memories began to attack him.
So he hurriedly took a step forward.
"Don't go so fast!" The warrior monk hurriedly walked a few steps in front of Tang Sen: "As a spellcaster. Even if you are a spellcaster from another world, you must follow the basic principle, which is to stay in the safest place for the team! β
The rest of the journey was much smoother than before, I don't know if it was because of the transfer, or because the group of Beholder Zombies just now was already the most powerful monster in this tomb, and the group never encountered any undead creatures again.
Except for Tracey, who was a little disappointed, the eyes of the others looking at Townsend became more and more wrong.
"Is it really possible to find the exit to the maze by trying your luck like this?" Barn muttered, "Or is this a way of finding your way that is peculiar to people from other worlds?" β
"It doesn't make sense at all!"
"I don't care if it's right or not, as long as I can get out of this hellish place, you can make me believe that the lich can have children." The wanderer swayed forward from behind, smiling, "I can already feel the wind." β
"The exit is ahead!"
As soon as these words came out, everyone immediately accelerated their pace excitedly, and soon, the cookie-cutter corridor finally came to an end, and a metal gate appeared in front of everyone.
"Marris, it's time for you to get to work."
Barn shouted, "Open this door!" β
Maris the Wanderer cautiously came to the gate, and after checking the neighborhood to make sure there were no traps, he began to explore the gate.
"It looks like no one has opened it in years." He tapped lightly and said, "It's thick, and I don't see the keyhole." β
"I'm pretty sure it's a magic door."
"You just say if you can open it, if you can't do it, I'll use my hammer to smash it directly!"
"Magic locks aren't my specialty." Maris said with some embarrassment: "It's like this labyrinth, it's all a mage's means. β
"Moreover, I believe that brute force is useless against this door."
"Let me come, I have a way!" Trish stepped forward, "I'm a mage. β
Everyone was immediately impressed by her, and Barn was relieved, "Trish, you are finally able to play the role of a spellcaster. β
Tracy blushed slightly, and pulled out a bunch of materials from the spellcasting material pack, and after a skillful and quick gesture-
A fireball flew towards the Magic Gate.
Barn: "."
"That's what you do?"
Trish nodded: "My teacher taught me that whatever is in the way of the front can be solved with the Fireball Technique. β
"If one shot isn't enough, then another shot!"
She said uncertainly, "A door should be counted among them, right?" β
With the explosion of the fireball, the metal door rumbled, and then the flames dispersed, and a charred black appeared on the door.
Barn's beard stood on end, "I don't know who your teacher is, but I'm pretty sure that the fireball technique won't work, even if I do it again!" β
Trish lowered her head: "The three fireball techniques I prepared have been used up. β
Barn gasped.
"So, it took so much effort for us to get out of the labyrinth, only to be blocked by a damn door?"
"If only it were us. Maybe so. Warrior Monk Carmelo looked at Tang Sen: "However, we have another spellcaster. β
Townsend stepped forward: "I think, I can try." β
