Chapter Fifty-Three: The Silver Samurai

Rumlow felt that he had been quite irritable during this time.

Pierce sent him to the deserted island in the Dragon Triangle to find artifacts, but after a lot of hard work, he brought back the wrong thing, and inexplicably attracted the pursuit of the madmen of the Holy Trinity.

Although he relied on his hard power to fight back against the Holy Trinity for several waves, the specially selected special combat team was seriously reduced because of this.

Afterwards, he managed to avoid Nick Fury's sight again and trained a wave of new members loyal to Hydra, but now he has to bite the bullet to help eliminate his companions.

Rumlow understood that his immediate boss, Pierce, had sent him with the intention of annexation.

But unlike his power-hungry boss, he believes in the so-called Hydra and doesn't have too many factional thoughts of his own.

From the moment he entered the base here, the corpses of the Hydra soldiers and researchers all over the ground made him feel distressed, but he was powerless to do so, so he was anxious to enter the laboratory to get the remaining research results and the like.

The route map of the base provided by Laura was accurate, and the special operations team arrived at the door of the data center in one step, but there were still two teams of Garrett and Coulson at the door.

"Intelligence division? Task splitting? โ€

Coulson, the good old man, asked.

Garrett and Rumlow nodded when they heard this, silently thanking the one-eyed black brine for his suspicion.

Coulson is used to this, but the other two teams are responsible for different content.

Laura and the others didn't come along, and the science duo stayed outside, and they had to use their portable computers to try to hack into the data center door.

"No, it failed, the scientific research department made this thing too rubbish."

Ward put the computer with the words "hacking failed" back in his bag, got up and walked back behind Garrett.

Rumlow gestured to the assault men on the special operations team, who quickly stepped out of the ranks and secured a disc-shaped object on the door.

Seeing this, Coulson and Garrett took a few steps back with the team, and then realized that the assaulter had not retreated from a safe distance.

"Zizizi-"

The disk, mistaken for a bomb, split into four sectors, then centered on the original position, began to move at a uniform speed on the door and cut it with high-temperature plasma.

"It seems that Pierce and Fury have put together a lot of good things for the special forces team."

Garrett said a little sourly that he had always thought that instead of spending time and energy on these bells and whistles, it would be better to save money on research on limb repair and regeneration.

Rumlow knew the details of Garrett, but he didn't understand why the other party was suddenly angry with him now, he didn't seem to have provoked this master, right? Could it be that he has an opinion about Pierce?

Seeing this, Coulson thought that he had a good relationship with Garrett and wanted to ease the tense atmosphere at the scene, so after thinking about it, he made a joke in a brisk tone:

"yes, Rumlow. The old and new directors are really fond of your special combat team~ Then please take the lead. โ€

Just as the door breaker had finished working and regrouped into a single disc, Rumlow nodded to the assaulter.

The assault hand, who had received the boss's orders, stepped forward to retrieve the disc, and then activated the exoskeleton on his body to remove the severed door panel.

Rumlow made two tactical gestures to the special operations team, and immediately a team of three people came out to form a team and entered the data center through the breach with rifles.

The data center does not appear to have power restored, and it is pitch black inside.

Once the trio entered the interior, they began to reconnoiter the room with the tactical flashlight mounted on the rifle, and the leading creep took two steps to find that the flashlight beam was reflected back by something in front of them.

Losing his vision, he quickly lowered the muzzle of the gun in his hand, preparing to observe the situation ahead with the diffuse reflection of the ground.

"Buzz"

The leading creep heard the voice as his gaze caught a dark red in the darkness, and then he found himself uncontrollably turning his gaze, as if he saw the startled eyes of his companion behind him, and then disappeared into the endless darkness.

"Enemy attack! Repeat! Enemy attack! Marco has fallen to the ground! โ€

The team member in the middle hurriedly shouted warning while raising the rifle in his hand and pulling the trigger.

A few fires appeared in the darkness, and he quickly judged from the firelight and the sound effect of the hit feedback that the bullet he had just bounced off.

"Ahh I've been shot! โ€

The team member who walked at the end was hit in the thigh by a ricochet, and screamed as he fell.

"Damn it! What the hell is hidden in this? This special armor-piercing bullet can pierce through those black monsters outside! โ€

The reflexes of the special operators threw out a flare while holding a gun in one hand and grabbing their teammate's vest with the other hand and began to quickly retreat.

"Smack"

The lit flares emit a faint shimmering green glow, illuminating the surrounding environment.

"This!? Japanese samurai armor? โ€

Appearing in front of the special operators was the silver samurai who had been brought back to the base by Ophelia and deeply tested and reformed, and this guy also held a huge dark red katana in his hand.

"ๆฎบใ—ใพใ™!"

The Silver Samurai stooped down one by one, and then slashed straight at the two of them.

The people standing outside were already on alert when they heard the warning, but they didn't know what was going on inside.

Seeing Rumlow standing in place with a gun, Garrett snorted coldly and raised his weapon to get closer to the breach, and before he could observe, he heard the sound of oncoming wind breaking and hurriedly dodged to the side.

After rolling on the spot, he was greeted by two special operators who had been cut into four pieces, and then Garrett felt an extremely strong warning of death, but his half-crippled body could no longer be avoided.

At the critical moment, it was his former good friend who saved his life, and Coulson, who pounced, took him to roll on the ground several times.

Both of them were disgraced, but at least their lives were saved.

Before he could thank him, the massive body of the silver samurai had already broken through the wall, wielding his katana to harvest the lives of those present.

The bullets that could kill the black monster before were now unable to even slow down the movements of the Silver Samurai, and the narrow space was not conducive to the team's thermal weapon combat, and the retreat was blocked by the flying round door panel.

In just a dozen seconds, the front of the data center turned into a hell of corpses and a sea of blood, and because of the high temperature on the silver samurai's katana, there was a strange smell of barbecue at the scene.

"Snort-bang"

Laura breaks through the obstacles in the passage and finds that only Coulson, May, Garrett, Ward, and Rumlow are still standing, all with injuries.

She broke the shards of the door that stood in her way in two, calculated the force and angle, and threw it at the Silver Samurai, who smashed the latter back into the data center with a huge momentum.

"Get out of now! I'm going to deal with this big guy! โ€
