Chapter 35: The Red Demon Hahn
Harvin had no other mind to attend to, and his mind was full of the need to bring Hahn to testify before the prosecution.
Now vetoed by Brooklyn, his whole being is chaotic, and he stands there muttering in despair.
"Harvin."
Brooklyn also noticed that Harvin's state was not quite right, and frowned and shouted.
"Are you okay?"
Haven did not answer.
Benjamin looked at it for a while, and saw that Haven was in a daze, so he could only take the initiative to get up and continue to be the main force of evidence.
"Our Application for Evidence No. 23 ......"
………………
Outside Courtroom No. 9.
A prisoner sat quietly in a chair.
He wore an orange prison uniform and had iron chains on his hands and feet, which were held together by a short chain to ensure that the prisoners did not run too fast when they escaped.
The prisoner, with a young face and bright, pure eyes, sat quietly in the middle of two burly prison guards, politely smiling back in the face of the curious gazes cast by passers-by.
He looked very innocent, like a child, and it was difficult to associate him with a criminal.
He looked up at the guard on his left.
"What time is it? Mr. Brown? ”
His voice is also very good, as clear as a mountain stream and a clear spring, which is refreshing.
The prison guard beside him was like a great enemy, and when he heard this, he hurriedly looked at his watch.
"11:05, Mr. Hahn."
Brown, the prison guard who had been called by Haven to testify, was unhappy with Hahn's address.
"Hey!"
"Why are you so kind to him?"
As he spoke, he stretched out his foot and kicked Hahn's leg, pouting with disdain.
"He's just a, I heard that he can't do it at all, so he uses a knife to commit crimes."
Brown smiled, a flash of displeasure on his face, and did not speak.
"Mr. Burton, we ought to be kind to everyone, are you right?"
Hahn raised his male and female face, blinked and whispered, with an innocent look on his face.
Being stared at by Hahn like this, for some reason, Bolton only felt a chill in his back, and a fear rose in his heart, and he couldn't help but take a small step back.
When he reacted, he was furious.
Bolton shoved Hahn down in his chair and cursed loudly
“FxxK! You little white face who sells ass! You'd better pray that this time you will be out and let off the wind longer! You useless softass! Incompetent waste! ”
Hahn slowly rose from his chair and let Bolton insult him, with a clean smile on his face all the time.
He even stood up between the two to prevent Brown from arguing with Bolton, separating the two.
What an exemplary inmate!
Burton's insults quickly stopped.
The cameo assistant opens the door and invites Hahn in.
The defense case is over, and it is the plaintiff's turn to present evidence.
Hahn politely nodded and thanked the guest assistant, and led Brown towards the door of Courtroom 9.
As he passed by Burton, he paused and whispered in Burton's ear
"Mr. Burton, say hello to your wife and daughter on my behalf, I have heard that they both have attractive long pink hair, which I like."
Burton froze in place, turning his head to look at Hahn in shock.
A chill rose from the soles of his feet and slowly crawled all over his body, making him feel cold all over his body.
Hahn chuckled, made a kissing gesture, and stepped through the door of Courtroom 9.
……
……
The guest assistant brought the Bible, which was picked up by Brooklyn.
Brooklyn stared at Hahn, who was standing on the witness stand.
Their gaze began the moment Hahn stepped through the door of Courtroom 9.
"Put your right hand upon the Bible and swear to God that you will know to the best of His knowledge that what is said is true and that nothing is hidden"
Brooklyn didn't even pay attention to the commotion in the courtroom, just stood in front of Hahn and said solemnly.
"Okay. Honorable Judges, ”
Hahn nodded politely, smiled and raised his right hand, looked at it repeatedly and then put it down, then placed his left hand on the Bible.
"I swear. Brooklyn, we're meeting again, and you're finally getting interesting. ”
Hahn swore casually, chatting with Brooklyn like an old friend he hadn't seen in years.
"I saw you in the newspaper the other day. You don't know, the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York is simply boring to death, there is no news there, and I only know about it for a few months. You really shouldn't have locked me up there in the first place, I'd rather sit in the electric chair. ”
Hahn grumbled.
"Hahn, this is the courtroom, do you understand your obligations and responsibilities as a witness?"
"Of course, of course, you should know what I do, E.D.N.Y, I know you better than you."
"I used to be in and out of here a lot before you came here to work. By the way, Court 9 used to be an old woman with pink hair, and her hair was really charming.
Unfortunately, I later learned that she was dyed. What a shame, hey. ”
He sighed, like a gambler who missed out on the jackpot, shaking his head and complaining
"She was good for nothing but her charming hair, which was dyed.
That's an old-fashioned, mean old woman, just like you used to be. ”
"Huh! The owners of Court 9 are old-fashioned and mean people! ”
Like a child discovering a novelty toy, Hahn's eyes lit up and he stared excitedly up and down Brooklyn.
"Why do you say that?"
He asked mysteriously.
Brooklyn ignored him, and as soon as he walked in the door, Brooklyn knew from memory that Hahn was such a man.
Beneath this pure and flawless angelic exterior lies a demonic evil soul.
He was a devil in human skin.
"Quiet!"
"You can ask questions, Ben."
Brooklyn returned the Bible to his guest assistant and kept order in the courtroom, Okben Stone said.
Seeing that Brooklyn ignored him, Hahn pouted in dissatisfaction, and then waved at the dock.
"Judge Brooklyn, do you know what they call me?"
Hahn placed his right hand behind his ear and made a listening gesture.
"Red Devil !!"
A high-pitched shout suddenly came from the dock, startling everyone.
"They call you the Red Devil !!"
Curtis shouted feverishly, broke free from Benjamin's pull, flipped over the table, and rushed to the witness stand.
He knelt down on one knee in front of Hahn, raised his hands above his head, humbly bowed his head, and shouted loudly
"The world doesn't dare to call you by your name!"
"No one dares to look you in the eye!"
"Thou art walking in the world, purifying unclean women!"
"Your prestige warns all women to be pure!"
"Wherever unclean things happen, there are traces of red demons!"
"Blood-stained roses pave the way for you."
"Sweet wine leads the way."
"Uncleanness will be purified!"
"Red Devil!"
Curtis fell to his knees and shouted, like a fanatical preacher, preaching his faith.
The missionary was then dragged away by two bailiffs and locked in a small room in the observation room.
"Defendant Curtis, disrupting court order, contempt of court, sentenced to 100 hours of forensic assistant work, forbidden to leave the morgue during that time."
Curtis, who was behind Brooklyn's glass, smiled slightly.
"Mr. Curtis, you've managed to make me feel angry."
As he spoke, the clerk had already made the penalty and handed it over to Brooklyn by the guest assistant, who signed it and asked the guest assistant to close the file.
The contempt sentence will be placed on file after the trial is complete, along with the rest of the trial.
