Chapter Seventy-Six: The Arduous Quest

Without a blood sample from Martin's father, Hanser and his party had to send the DNA sample of Martin they had collected from the Thai police morgue back to The Hague. While waiting for the results, Matthew suggested that everyone could go to the bar where Martin had been that night and recreate the situation that Martin had encountered. Thompson was an old man, and he thought it was perfectly fine for Matthew to go out and relax, but it was outrageous to make such an excuse.

Unexpectedly, Hanser actually agreed. Hearing Hanser's approval, Thompson hesitated and decided to participate himself. After all, for the investigation of the case, he now believes that this is also a very necessary and effective link.

The bar is not too big, but business is good. It can be seen that this is a pastime mainly for foreign tourists, and there is a variety of Thai cultural programs in it, and it is quite exciting. In the midst of this flurry of whistles, Matthew leaned over with a glass of martini, and he said to Thompson with a wink, do you see something?

Thompson's attention was noticeably unfocused, and his gaze was drawn to several hot girls, sweeping around like a searchlight. After a while, he took a sip of beer and said that the taste here was so light. Matthew knew he was supposed to mean beer.

A local girl in a mini skirt squeezed in enthusiastically, and she emerged from between Matthew and Thompson like a lube-oiled fish. "Hey, handsome guy", Thompson's old face flushed, and the girl's red lips were dripping, almost touching his mouth.

Matthew turned his head in amusement, and suddenly he saw a man approaching.

The man who came had his phone in his hand, and while looking at the photos on his phone, he looked at everyone in the bar, apparently he was looking for someone.

Out of professional sensitivity, Matthew intuitively felt that something was wrong. He looked back at Thompson, and in a matter of seconds, he was already nibbling with the girl. "Forensic medicine is typical, and I don't forget to collect evidence in leisure." These were the exact words he teased Thompson on the way back.

"Yes, who can refuse a true love?" The old man replied contentedly.

Only the serious German mathematician Hanser could see the problem. He wondered how Martin could stay in such a place until it closed. And they talked so much with the girls that they didn't ask a single useful clue about Martin.

"Could it be that the Thais have lied to us? Martin didn't come to this bar? Everyone gasped.

Could it be that the purpose of the Thais in doing this is that they have something to do with Martin's accident? Hanser didn't think that the Thai police were so bold that even the head of Europol headquarters dared to do it, he felt that there must be some misunderstanding or something wrong here, and the guy who used his mobile phone to find someone at night was later caught in a corner and questioned by them, and admitted that the royal police had instructed him to find Hanse and his party.

Thinking of this, thinking of the secret room where Fan Bing was killed, Hanser decisively decided to leave Thompson alone to go back to the hotel, and the others would not stay in the original room tonight.

The simple forensic doctor was excited by the wise decision of the leader, but what he didn't know was that after they had sent him to the hotel and repeatedly confirmed that he had returned to the room, several people returned to the bar just now, called the girl they had already made, and decisively pursued love in a foreign country.
