Chapter 10: Camille Siffany

My name is Camille Siffany and I am 22 years old. He lives in the area of Bremley and is unmarried.

I was a sophomore at the University of Westminster, majoring in psychology. I had to study in the school library until 8 p.m. every day because I had to avoid my jealous cousin and my abusive aunt.

I don't wear makeup, I don't gossip, I don't fall in love.

Go to bed at 11 p.m. and sleep for 8 hours a day. Before going to bed, I do eye exercises, because I always feel that there is something wrong with my eyes, and I always see inexplicable things.

Once I got into bed, I was able to fall asleep right away. Sleep until dawn, and never leave fatigue and stress until the next day.

Friends... I don't have any friends and I feel like I'm normal.

That's weird!!

At the age of fourteen, Camille discovered that she had an unusual talent, she could always read the emotions or psychology of others, and her eyes could always see strange things.

She had never told anyone about these things, it was her secret.

Camille's parents died in a man-made accident when she was 10 years old, leaving her to live with her uncle. The uncle was a relatively cold man, he was only responsible for part of Camille's living expenses and school fees, and never cared much about his niece.

Camille's aunt was a femme fatale, and she had always thought that Camille was eating and drinking for nothing at her house. never mentioned that he had taken Camille's parents' inheritance, and his uncle and aunt used Camille as a maid at home. And Camille's cousin is really worthy of being her uncle's biological daughter, and she has perfectly inherited her mother's vitriol.

However, even with all kinds of debuffs, she was successfully admitted to the University of Westminster through her own efforts and got a full scholarship.

Camille has been quiet since she went to college, and her aunt and cousin's troubles have subsided since she entered college.

There was only one thing that happened during his college years that Carmil cared about, not a confession, but what a female professor named Phoenix said to herself.

"It's a pity, you're just a Muggle with no blood."

Professor Phoenix was the first person she failed to observe in mind, and when she mustered up the courage to ask Professor Phoenix if she knew anything about her, the professor replied with a sigh:

"You have a talent called 'synaesthesia,' but unfortunately you're a Muggle."

"Muggles?"

"It's nothing, let's go to class."

Camille could feel the repulsion of Professor Phoenix even if she didn't use synaesthesia, so she didn't dare to ask more. After this incident, Professor Phoenix didn't have much contact with her, as if they weren't born in the same circle.

And today, on the night of the red moon on February 9, 1589 in the Terra calendar, a second event happened that made Camille unforgettable, and it was also the event that changed her life.

Just as Camille washed up as usual, ready to read a book and go to bed.

She found that her window had been opened, and an owl was standing on the edge of her window. I don't know if it's an illusion, but she feels that the owl's eyes looking at her are full of arrogance.

The owl still had a letter in his mouth, and Camille couldn't figure out what was going on for a moment.

A man and an owl stared at each other blankly for a minute.

Finally, the owl showed an expression of rotten wood, and threw the envelope in its mouth directly in Camille's face, and the bewildered Camille took the letter from his face.

Curious, she opened the envelope, and it contained a sentence written in Terra:

Are you thirsty for knowledge? 】

Just when Camille looked confused, the words on the envelope began to change automatically.

[Yes, you desire!] 】

What the heck!?

The envelope suddenly spontaneously combusted, causing Camille to retract his hand, and the flying sparks formed a circle on the ground, and then an illusory portal rose from the circle, and the portal carved an inverted tree composed of ten "circles" and 22 "paths".

Camille watched in amazement at this unreasonable scene.

Just when she was at a loss, the door opened, and the owl didn't know when to fly behind her.

How I had a sense of foreboding.

Her hunch was correct, and just when she was confused, the hateful owl behind her directly hit her back with a hammer, and she stumbled and fell directly into the portal.

After Camille entered, the owl flapped its wings and followed.

When Camille opened her eyes, she saw this dreamy scene.

There is a unique drizzle in the sky, and the streets are filled with peculiar light pollution and noisy noises.

Where is this?

Am I dreaming?

Camille was stunned by this strange scene, and as Camille was in a daze, she saw a portal appear out of thin air in the square in front of her, which was exactly the same as the one she had seen before.

Camille saw someone coming out of it, and was so frightened that she hid in the grass beside her, and at the same time she reached out and pressed the owl perched on her head, covering its beak tightly.

The owl with his beak covered looked at Camille for a long time with the eyes of a special handicapped, and Camille was sneakily observing the people coming out of the portal, and at the same time using his talent to quietly probe the other party, she wanted to know the information of the other party.

Camille easily penetrated into the other person's heart, and just as she was about to read the other person's heart, a piercing roar suddenly sounded, and her heart felt as if it had been hit by a heavy hammer.

She couldn't help but let out a wail.

It's over.,It's sent... Now, the other party is... My voice is attracted and it's going to be finished.

"Ma'am, it's taboo to use mind-probing thaumaturgy on other thaumaturgists."

Contrary to what she had imagined, a gentle voice came into Camille's ears, and the other party seemed to sense her embarrassment, so she deliberately spoke with a joking ending.

Camille looked up a little bewildered, her loose glasses slipping down and clasping on either side of her nose, her mouth slightly open as she stared at the hand reaching for her.

At this time, the rain just stopped, and a brilliant aurora appeared in the sky.

What appeared in front of her was a fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy, the boy had a pair of bright but gentle golden eyes, he was very handsome, the kind of person who was impressed after seeing it once.

Camille held the other party's hand stretched out to him in a daze, and then was helped up by the other party, her height was 1.68 meters, and the teenager was a little taller than him.

Boys at this age should be even older. Camille thought to herself.

"Ma'am, ma'am, are you alright?" Concerned voices rang in his ears again, and Camille panicked for some reason.

"I, I, I'm fine, haha, I'm fine."

"yes, your face looks a little too ruddy."

"Nothing, really."

"Yes, then you can let go of my hand, ma'am."

"Ahh Excuse me. ”

"Take it easy, ma'am."

"Ahhh Well. ”

Camille felt a little embarrassed.
