Chapter 55: The Ministry of Magic

On the other side, inside Hogwarts.

Almost exactly the same thing as the original, played out in front of Anthony.

Harry pounced and swallowed the Golden Snitch.

Won the game.

The only difference was that Quirrell was very well-behaved today, he didn't curse Harry's broomstick, it was probably the noseless monster in his head who noticed that Dumbledore's attention to him was a little beyond the threshold.

Speaking of which, Voldemort is really grateful to Jin Cangshui for stirring up the wind and rain outside.

If she hadn't attracted Dumbledore's attention to the greatest extent, and even the attention of the entire British wizarding world, he might have been exposed.

Someone really carried the weight for him.

Anthony didn't quite know what Dumbledore had done for Quirrell.

He's always gone with the flow, and for months, apart from a few hiccupes, everything that happened at Hogwarts was pretty much the same as Anthony remembered.

As in the current scene on the court, Harry coughed vigorously as if he was about to vomit, and then a golden object landed on his palm.

"Oh! Harry Potter captures the Golden Snitch and Gryffindor wins! In the stands, the commentator Jordan roared wildly.

A loud wave erupted, and everyone except Slytherin celebrated.

Even the little wizards of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were full of joy.

Marcus was the first to dive down in the ring, and he walked up to Mrs. Hodge in anger and shouted: Potter fouled, he didn't catch the Golden Snitch at all, he almost swallowed it.

It's a pity that Mrs. Hodge ignored him at all, and directly announced in a loud voice that Gryffindor had won.

The score was locked at 290 to 60.

"We won! We won! ”

Wood, Fred and a group of other players rushed over, and they held Harry aloft.

The entire Quidditch arena erupted in a celestial cheer.

In the stands, Professor McGonagall happily waved her arms along with her students.

She also took a special look at Dumbledore in the other stand.

The fiery eyes seemed to say, look, this is my student, how good! (When you don't get into trouble)

Dumbledore echoed the enthusiasm, clapping softly with the professors, but he seemed much more reserved, less enthusiastic than Professor McGonagall.

Enthusiastic...

Only Dumbledore himself knew that his heart was dead at the moment, and the cheerful voices around him could not stay in his heart for even a moment.

Just now, he received two letters from the Ministry of Magic.

One was sent by Kingsley, a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

The other was sent by Secretary Cornelius Fudge, and this is his fourth letter this week.

The wording is harsher than the other.

The first few letters start with dear... Now it's Dumbledore.

But that's not to blame for the lack of courage in the Minister of Magic.

It's the public opinion of the wizarding world that has exploded again.

Three days ago, as the Aurors went deeper, they found traces of the golden water in Wales.

This should have been a good thing.

But for the current Ministry of Magic, this has become the worst thing to do.

Because this shows that their Ministry of Magic is not as good as the Muggle government, and the Muggle government can lock the location of Jin Cangshui in a few weeks, but what about them?

It's been a month!

Nothing but fart eating, it simply disgraced the wizard's face.

And what made Fudge even more troublesome was that in the arrest operation the day before yesterday, the Ministry of Magic dispatched almost all the Aurors who were idle, and the result?

Jin Cangshui escaped under such a net.

Escaped... Take it off... Finish.

Happy!

The Aurors became a joke, and the Ministry of Magic became a joke!

Unlike Umbridge, the failure of this arrest was reported on the front page of the Daily Prophet for two consecutive pages.

Just one day, the howling letters of the English wizards poured into the Ministry of Magic like snowflakes.

Voices questioning the Ministry of Magic grew louder and louder.

Most of them questioned Fudge's ability to lead the wizarding world.

One had to look at another man, a hardliner who had failed to run for minister, Barty Crouch.

Barty Crouch Sr., since he was not nominated by the Minister of Magic because of his son's affairs, he was transferred from the familiar Department of Magical Law Enforcement to the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation.

This is undoubtedly a suppression of his rights.

The Ministry of Magic is not a Muggle government.

The most important ministers of the British Cabinet are the Minister of Finance, the Secretary of Home Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Defence.

The rest of the ministers of education, health, transport, and so on are an echelon.

Finally, like the Leader of the House of Lords and the Keeper of the Seals, the Secretary of State for International Trade and the Chairman of the Board of Trade, the Minister of Whatever (no matter what the Minister is, there really is such a Minister... It's all part of the pie.

Basically, among the 24 departments of the Cabinet, only finance, internal affairs, foreign affairs, and national defense really hold real power. (Maybe the permanent secretary...) )

This shows that the foreign secretary is quite important in the British system.

But in the wizarding world, the wizarding world of each country is independent of each other, and the Department of International Magical Exchange is almost a spare job, because there is nothing particularly important for them to deal with.

Barty Crouch Sr. has achieved the best since he arrived at the Department of International Magical Communication, and the best thing he can do is to reopen the Triwizard Tournament, and that's it, he has to share the credit equally with the Department of International Magical Cooperation and the Department of Magical Sports.

You can see it!

The functions of the Department of International Magical Exchange and the Department of International Magical Cooperation overlapped so much that Barty Crouch Sr. had lost half of his life's prestige and was reduced to such a scrap department.

I have to say, it's really sad.

This is probably the only director of the Ministry of Magic who has real material.

But now it's different.

With the wizarding world, the voices of doubt are getting louder and louder, and eventually all these voices will converge on the minister's head.

Fudge, who is increasingly irritable, has scolded his subordinates several times for trivial matters, which is simply contrary to his usual image of a good old man.

"Look! Look, Dumbledore's suggestion! ”

In the minister's office, Fudge was angrily waving a letter, one from the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts.

"He even asked me to contact a Muggle Prime Minister and ask for help from a Muggle government?"

"Muggles! Ask the Muggle government for help!! Oh he can tell! ”

Fudge screamed, as if humiliated, and the fire boiling in his chest intensified.

He shouted frantically, "Is he an old fool? Or has the headmaster of the school of witchcraft and wizardry become a puppet of the Muggles? ”

"Mr. Minister, the first thing we should do now is to arrest Jin Cangshui as soon as possible, as for the source of intelligence, it doesn't matter." As an old Auror, Kingsley Shacklele knows very well how serious the situation really is, and that female devil is doing evil in England.

Now they even show signs of regressing a bit back to the dark times when Voldemort was wreaking havoc.

It would be foolish to dwell on the sources of information now.

The key is to be able to catch the talent.

"You're Dumbledore?" Fudge's eyes were fixed on Kingsley.
