Chapter 31: The Valley

"Quick! Kill it! ”

An excited cry suddenly broke the silence of the valley, and the leaves of the jungle shook, and birds and beasts flew out of the forest in panic.

In the very middle of this valley.

A group of primitive people, covered in a layer of mud with straw skirts woven from leaves hanging from their waists, were forming a circle, shouting incessantly, driving away the beasts that surrounded them in the middle.

In their hands, they held torches made of twigs and withered grass, and whenever the beast tried to get closer, it began to wield.

The blazing flames above forced it back again.

This group of primitive people dressed in simple clothes is none other than Ma and his people.

The sun rises and the moon sets, and by this time, dozens of rotations have passed.

With his people, he crossed mountains and mountains through dangerous jungles, all the while searching for new tribes.

They had come across natural caves where there were no signs of wild beasts, and in the eyes of almost all the tribesmen, they were no less than the original tribes.

But Ma didn't choose to root the tribe here, he just took the tribe to look around, and then immediately left with the tribe without saying a word.

The people of the Ma tribe were very puzzled by this, and they did not understand why they still had to leave even though they had found such a good place.

It's just that I've long been accustomed to seeing Ma as the backbone of the tribe, even if I am reluctant to give up on that cave in my heart, I still follow Ma honestly and continue to set out to find it.

Food!

They need food more than they need in a safe cave.

Among the tribes, all the clansmen who learned to hunt were taught by Ma alone, and they were also the most determined and closely followed by Ma among all the clansmen.

Some of the people who wanted to stay knew very well in their hearts that even if they stayed here, if they didn't agree, those people would not hesitate to leave with him.

And the tribesmen who lost their hunting, without food, could only stay in the cave and starve to death.

In this way, they met many places that could be regarded as new tribes along the way, and every time they met one, the clansmen all focused their eyes on Ma, and their eyes were full of hope.

Each time, however, after just glancing around, Ma shook her head and left with her people.

Until they came to this valley.

It seems to be just a gap between the mountains and the mountains, formed by coincidence, with bare mountain walls on all sides, and only a narrow "crack" that is not very wide enough for two people to enter and exit.

When Ma led the tribesmen through the deep and slender "cracks", I felt that the eyes suddenly opened up, tall trees stood upright, flowers and plants grew quietly here, everything outside was isolated by the surrounding high mountain walls, and it was like a small world independent of the wilderness.

The high and straight cliffs blocked the beasts outside, and as long as the cracks were blocked, they no longer had to worry about the beast's attack, day and night.

Compared to the small cave that I had seen before, this place could be called the most perfect place for the tribe to survive.

Everyone's eyes flashed with joy, just a glance, they liked it, but when they saw the frowning and looking left and right, they immediately lowered their heads as if deflated.

No matter how much they liked it and wanted to stay, if Ma didn't agree, they had to choose to leave with him.

"It's right here!"

When Ma found a stream in the middle of the trees, his brow suddenly relaxed, and a smile finally appeared on his face, and then he raised his head and said something that made everyone cheer loudly.

"Roar!"

Their shouts, however, attracted the beasts.

I saw a tiger-shaped beast covered in mottled stripes and a height of a man leap out of the forest next to it, and immediately threw a clansman to the ground.

The sudden change made everyone's faces change suddenly, and they looked at each other's fangs and roaring mouths, as well as the clansmen covered in blood under their feet, and subconsciously took a few steps back.

"Beast!"

His pupils shrank, and without the slightest hesitation, he rushed over with the still burning branch in his hand.

When the tiger-shaped beast saw that this emaciated "monkey" had not only violated its own territory, but also dared to provoke and attack itself, a trace of anger flashed in its eyes, and it immediately leaned down, pressed against the chest of the other "monkey" under its feet, and let out a threatening roar at Ma.

However, in response to him was a blazing flame.

"Roar!" The scorching flames swept against the tip of its nose, and a terror flashed in the tiger's eyes.

The beast's natural fear of fire made it move its feet against the monkey and begin to fall backwards step by step.

"Fire, fire!"

With the flame in his hand, the beast in front of him was driven away from the clansmen step by step, and a fine light flashed in his eyes, and he immediately blocked in front of the clansmen who fell to the ground, and then turned his head and shouted at everyone.

When the clansmen heard this, they came back to their senses, and looked at the beast that was waving backwards, and without much hesitation, they immediately raised the torch in their hands and rushed forward.

Under Ma's command, they surrounded the tiger-shaped beast in the middle, waving the torch in their hands.

"Quick!"

"Kill it!"

The burning torch in their hands seemed to give them a strong sense of confidence, and the fear on their faces quickly dissipated, replaced by a pair of eager eyes.

Surrounded by flames, the tiger-like beast kept turning its head and body, trampling restlessly on the ground, and roaring at them in a low voice.

As the circle grew smaller, the beast became more and more restless.

When the blazing flames were about to approach it, they finally couldn't bear it anymore, and leaped forward, roared and opened their mouths, and pounced on one of them.

Seeing a large mouth full of fangs growing in front of him, the clansman stiffened, and the torch still waving in his hand subconsciously raised and stood in front of him.

However, when the beast was about to approach him, it suddenly twisted its body nimbly, swept past him, and then ran swiftly towards the only crevice in the valley.

The sudden scene made everyone present stunned, including Ma, who didn't expect this beast to run away.

Even, when the tiger-shaped beast ran in front of the crack, it actually turned around and roared at them.

Provocation!

For some reason, a thought suddenly flashed through Ma's mind.

After letting out a roar at them, the tiger-shaped beast turned its head and prepared to enter the rift in the valley.

However, at this moment, a figure walked out of it.

"Your Excellency!"
