Chapter 293: A Fallen God
In the endless desert, the sun is shining, and the wind and sand are mixed together, making people unable to open their eyes.
Leaving fine footprints behind him, blocking the wind and sand that kept drilling into his eyes with his hands, Rocket Raccoon couldn't help but complain: "Why don't you let the transport plane take us directly to the entrance?" β
"The entrance is not fixed, the ship can only determine a general range, and the rest can only be found by ourselves."
Slowly descending from the sky beside the group, Narnia explained slowly.
"Damn, when do we have to find out?"
Hearing this, Star-Lord frowned and said dissatisfied.
Dressed in a black armor and wearing a fully enclosed transparent helmet to isolate the wind and sand and strong ultraviolet rays, Cyber said lightly: "It's here, it's right in front of you." β
There was a blue point of light reflected in the golden vertical pupils, and Narnia glanced at the man in surprise and nodded, "That's right, it's indeed here." β
He thought that only he, who had inherited some of Farargo's divine powers, could sense the entrance to the Ancient Temple, but he didn't expect this ordinary-looking guy to find out.
"Where's the entrance? Why didn't I see it? β
Aurem, the hammer of destruction, who had been silent along the way, narrowed his eyes and wondered.
"It'll be right away."
With a faint purple light lit up from the surface of the black scales, a string of obscure syllables also came from Narnia's bloody mouth: "#@Β₯%@#!" β¦β¦β
In the next moment, a thin blue and white line connecting the sky and the earth suddenly appeared in front of everyone's eyes, and then quickly expanded to both sides, finally forming a blue-white light door that covered the sky and the sun.
"Let's go, there's the Ancient Temple inside."
Triumphantly glancing at his teammates next to him, Narnia flapped her wings and instantly jumped into the huge spatial door in front of her.
Looking at the eager Guardians of the Galaxy next to him, Cyber kindly reminded: "I give you a piece of advice, the first time you encounter the enemy, don't think about fighting hard, and run away quickly." β
"What do you mean?"
Gamora frowned, staring at the dark-haired man next to him with burning eyes.
Although she doesn't know how strong the other party really is, she is by no means an easy person.
Since the other party has said so, it must mean that there is a big trouble here, a big trouble that they can't deal with!
"Don't you know?"
"Know what?"
Star-Lord's expression froze.
"The strength of the gods who fell into this ancient temple."
Seeing everyone's confused appearance, Cyber met the gaze of the green-skinned woman, and a wicked smile appeared on his face: "Since these guys dare to be gods, they naturally have some skills.
Their weakest strength is similar to Ronan, and if they are in their own god domain, their strength will rise to another level, and they will become stronger than your ghost father.
And if the other party can solve this group of gods silently, that means ......"
"He's not my father!"
At the mention of that person, Gamora instantly lost his cool.
Pulling his girlfriend's palm, Star-Lord flattered: "Big guy, since you are willing to participate in this operation, you must be sure to deal with the enemies inside, right?" β
"I'm just an assistant."
Shrugging his shoulders, Cyber neither affirmed nor denied.
Immediately after, he stepped out, ignoring the entangled members of the Energetic Dance Troupe.
β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦
The sky swirled, and in the blink of an eye, the scenery had changed dramatically.
The endless sea of sand vanished, replaced by dense ancient trees about the height of Narnia, and exotic flowers and plants unique to the space.
Standing firm, scanning his surroundings, Cyber knowingly asked, "What are we going to do next?" β
Turning around, raising a giant claw, and pointing forward, Narnia explained, "Follow this direction for about fifty kilometers and we'll be on the periphery of the Ancient Temple. β
"Fifty kilometers?"
Stepping out of the space door, looking down at his little short legs, the rocket raccoon patted the black giant's feet: "Dude, can you take us along?" β
"Heh, what do you say?"
Glancing coldly at the little mouse, Narnia sneered and walked forward.
He was reduced to a mount.
"Hey, you two wait, there's likely to be danger here, don't go it alone!"
Trying to hold back the giant beast in front of him and the Padang people carrying the sledgehammer to no avail, Bill had to turn his gaze to the little raccoon behind him, and reluctantly said, "Come to my shoulder." β
"Thanks, but no more, big man."
Declining the other party's invitation, Rocket Crawl jumped lightly, jumped on his partner's left shoulder, grabbed the branch growing on the other party's head with his right hand, and pointed forward with his left hand: "Let those two bastards know that we are powerful, rush, Groot!" β
"Love Groot!"
"Alas~"
Sighing, Bill stopped talking, kicked his right leg, and instantly leaped more than ten meters away, chasing after his teammates in front of him
So, what is the use of him as a team leader, no one in the team is willing to listen to him at all.
Fifty kilometers may be a long distance for ordinary earthlings, but there are no ordinary earthlings at all.
Fifty kilometers was about five hundred meters to them, and in less than five minutes, the fastest Narnia was on the outskirts of the Ancient Temple.
Cyber had already gone into invisibility, hanging behind Star-Lord and Gamora, and was moving towards his destination without hurrying or hurrying.
The core area of the Ancient Temple was protected by a layer of divine power enchantment, shielding him from the prying eyes of his super eyesight.
But even so, he found a lot of interesting things.
Breaking away from the large army and coming to a half-collapsed stone temple, Cyber slowly floated towards the altar in the center of the temple without revealing his body.
On top of the altar, there was a human head with its eyes gouged out, its tongue cut out, and blue-green blood flowing from it.
Crucially, there is a remnant of a cyber energy in this skull.
In order to explore the secrets of the gods of the Marvel Universe, he once went to an indigenous planet and captured a vicious 'God of Destruction' for research.
After various experiments, he succeeded in peeking on some of the secrets of the gods.
What remains of this skull is a unique power that exists by gods who rely on faithβdivine power!
And this is the head of an unknown god.
In front of the altar, there is also a hairless, gray-skinned alien wearing a blue-and-white robe, with a black sword stuck in his back.
Even though he was dead, the eyes of this alien without the slightest divine power still revealed endless horror, as if he had seen something unspeakably terrifying.
Of course, it wasn't the ordinary alien or the head of the unknown god that attracted Cyber here.
It's the black sword that the alien has in his body!
