Chapter 59: A Little Try
Late nights at Hogwarts are not quiet.
This seems to be a very peculiar phenomenon, learning will always make students tired, but there are always that kind of students, they will feel tired, but when it comes to playing, fatigue is like a cloud in the sky blown to the ends of the earth by the wind, never to be found.
Of course, it's not that the millennium-old school is unaware of such things, so a game of cat and mouse was born at Hogwarts.
The game is made up of countless generations of administrators and students who travel at night, and the rules of the game have changed quite a bit - you can't expect administrators and students hundreds of years ago to be good gentlemen - and finally came into its current form:
Every night, our esteemed Mr. Filch would make his rounds with an oil lamp—and his cat.
And all the students need to do is avoid them.
Dodge, then congratulations, the school will act as if they don't know about it—even if the portraits, the ghosts that never sleep have seen them.
If you don't, then unfortunately follow Mr. Filch, and he will tell you why you shouldn't go on a night tour.
However, this does not scare the students, especially the young ones who are carried away by love.
In an abandoned secret passage, a couple is intimately attached to each other, their ears and temples grinding, and the corners of their mouths are smiling and telling tiresome love words.
Until a crisp sound came from not far away.
"It's Filch. He touched my magic. The boy's face changed drastically, and he took the girl's hand and hurriedly opened the door of the secret passage.
They walked through the bright moonlight, like the eloping couples in a play, through the corridors of various colors, and even the armor displayed as they walked buzzed and vibrated with their footsteps, like spectators cheering for the show.
They also seemed to be excited about their excitement today, and the initial anxiety on their faces had turned into excited pleasure.
When they entered a secret room, the cat's voice disappeared without a trace, and they stopped, looked at each other, smiled, and kissed each other.
"Got rid of him?" The girl kissed the boy's face, and the smile on her face was like a flower.
"Of course, this is the safe house that Slytherin House has inherited from today." The boy looked smug, "Squib like Filch······ Hehe. ”
He didn't finish, but the disdain was evident in two light snorts.
"Oh······" The girl did not blame the boy for his disdain, but kissed each other again, "I'm going to tell Lila about today, she will be interested." ”
"Of course······"
Before the boy's voice could finish, the door was slammed open.
An unexpected man stood in the doorway, with an oil lamp in his hand and an equally unfriendly cat at his feet.
"Hah, two students." Filch's bulging eyes grew larger, and excitement flashed across his face, "Ravenclaw, as well, Slytherin." ”
He walked into the chamber and looked closely, "I never thought of it, never thought of it, Slytherin, ha! I see, I see! I knew that there was no such thing as a house! ”
The two students stared blankly at Filch, the smugness on their faces completely gone.
The next morning, the story of the hapless couple had spread throughout the campus through the reduction of gems in the hourglass.
Even before Potions class, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff were still discussing it.
People expressed sympathy for the hapless couple, and at the same time condemned Filch for beating the mandarin ducks with cruelty.
"But it's weird." Cedric, one of the few sobriety people here, raised a small question, "How did Filch find out about the couple?" ”
For this kind of incomprehensible person, Karl said with disgust: "Cedric, this is not the point, the point is that Filch is too much!" ”
His remarks were echoed by a large number of girls in attendance, who once again began to denounce Filch and worry about future dates.
Carl didn't join in, and Fred and George couldn't help but smugly share some possible safe spots with the girls.
Only Lee Jordan secretly asked Carl, "Are we making a big deal out of it?" ”
Karl looked at Lee Jordan in confusion: "What's the matter?" He looked at Lee Jordan without blinking, as if he was really just confused.
Lee Jordan wisely shut his mouth.
Snape walked into the classroom with a more gloomy face than usual, and the bustle in the room vanished in the blink of an eye.
"Fred, George, I suggest you go and shave the hair off your face at once, the red hair on your face is thicker than the orangutan, and I can't even see your eyes." He said in a weird way.
If Professor Flitwick had said this, everyone would have laughed and started today's lesson with a relaxed and happy mood.
But it was Snape who spoke.
No one wants to touch it.
His gaze turned away from the twins who had turned back obediently, and he glanced around, glaring fiercely at Carl, who was still unconcerned.
"Mr. Turinus, do you want to take a good look in the mirror? See how amazing you are? ”
When it comes to creating bad moods, Snape is no less accomplished than he is at the level of potions. Carl even suspected that this was the Potions teacher's direction in the dark arts.
Snape, having vented his anger, finally began to do his duty and clicked on the blackboard.
"Now take out your pen and paper, I don't want any unlucky guy to go to Madam Pomfrey to get some medicine." Snape said.
When the class ended, all the students breathed a sigh of relief.
In today's lesson, Snape's desire to deduct points was stronger than before, but fortunately he still retained his senses, and in the end he could only watch the group of new students who had become more and more proficient come out of the classroom.
During lunch, Fred and George kept hinting at Carl with their eyes, but Carl didn't see it, and he didn't wait until he finished lunch before he got up slowly.
"Don't be in a hurry, Fred and George, we need a certain amount of time."
"But there's not much time left." Fred said reluctantly.
Carl really didn't know if Fred and George were really worried that Gryffindor wouldn't be able to catch up because of the time constraints, or if they were pretending to be worried that they wouldn't be able to continue doing such a fun thing right away.
The two mischievous men didn't usually see the pride in Gryffindor's glory - that's what his brother Percy looked like.
"That's not in a hurry." Karl warned, "It's with me, don't try to get around it, you're not good enough to get it done." Lee, help me keep an eye on them. ”
"What about you?"
Carl picked up Hattings, who had sneaked in.
"Professor Caro told me to see him, and I'm going to be locked up."
