Chapter 85: All Goes Well
Professor McGonagall was very interested in the club organized by Carl, and took the initiative to ask about the specific content of the event and the number of participants.
Eventually, after consulting with Professor Sprout, she agreed to the club's application, arranged a classroom for their activities, and offered to give Carl some of the equipment to practice.
But she asks Carl to be extra careful with his magic practice.
"I don't want any surprises, or ······" Professor McGonagall was not finished, but the warning was self-evident.
Carl felt that his life had never been smoother since he entered Hogwarts: he had done everything he wanted to do.
Everything is getting better.
The only thing he regretted was that Quirrell had stopped "communicating" with him on Saturday since that day.
Although the reason is that Karl is now strong enough to deal with possible trouble in Slytherin.
But the real reason, Carl and Quirrell both know.
Carl wanted to talk to Quirrell, the kind of friend he had. But Quirrell had been avoiding him. After a few times, Carl understood.
He respected Professor Caro, so he gave up his childish behavior.
Unbeknownst to Professor Carlo, however, Carl had a map where everyone could be seen.
When no one is around, Carl often observes these two "teachers" who are hiding their actions.
To his disappointment, the two were fairly peaceful—classrooms, offices, libraries, occasional outings, all in all, nothing out of the ordinary.
On Saturday afternoon, Carl and his friends arrived at their club classroom as promised.
It was a classroom that hadn't been used in a long time, and there was nothing but a few dummies used to practice magic. Desks and chairs are stacked in the corners of the classroom.
Seeing this familiar scene, Carl suddenly remembered the scene where he and Peeves met in the classroom that day, which was basically the same as the current classroom, except for something that was covered by a veil.
In the classroom, tall Charlie was standing there examining the dummies, and when he heard the movement, he turned around and waved at everyone.
Fred whistled, "Look, who is this?" ”
"Our Captain!" George answered, "Hah! He's out of the Quidditch pitch! ”
"Oh my God!" Fred feigned horror and said, "Doesn't the captain only appear on the Quidditch pitch?" ”
"So the person in front of you must not be Charlie." George said. "Maybe he's a boggart." He pulled out his wand and recited the spell he had just learned.
"Funny funny!"
There is no doubt that magic does not work, and they have reaped Charlie's iron fist in it.
As a seventh-year student, Charlie was rarely seen in the castle, except for his daily Quidditch training, and more often than not, he was busy outside.
It was agreed that he did not need to worry about his future path, as several Quidditch professional clubs were already willing to offer him a tryout.
And according to what Carl saw in the Daily Prophet, the head coach of Quidditch in England will also come to Hogwarts to watch the final match between Gryffindor and Slytherin.
"I'm here to give you dummies. These are all used in 7th grade. Charlie said to Carl.
Carl examined them and found that the dummies did have a lot of traces of use, but they were generally intact.
He patted Karl on the shoulder, "I have to go, Professor Kettleburn asked me to send a Motra rat to Graplan, the mouse was a little injured the last time I played." ”
"He's been working for Professor Kettleburn this year." Watching Charlie leave, Fred said, "Honestly, I don't want him to do that, but it's his choice." ”
The Gryffindor Quidditch players in attendance all looked regretful, and it was clear that they had known what Fred was hinting at.
Cedric's mind was quick, and he immediately understood, and exclaimed, "You mean ······!" ”
Carl clapped his hands to divert everyone's attention back: "There's no rule that says you have to do what you're good at, not what you like, right?" Alright, now let's get started. ”
Cedric wisely kept his mouth shut, but also with a look of regret.
Speaking of communication, the eight people in the room look at me, I look at you, and finally look at Carl at the same time.
They took classes together, did their homework together, and their grades were pretty good, so they all had a good grasp of the magic, and Carl asked them to communicate, and they didn't know what to communicate.
Karl had known this would be the case for a long time.
He believed that everyone present here already had some knowledge of magic, but in front of Carl, they felt that they couldn't handle what was in their hands, so they wouldn't look at him so directly.
All Carl has to do is break this shyness, the first time you can start with him, and the rest can only be left to time.
"So let's start with the first spell, the Levitation Charm." Carl said.
At the mention of the levitation charm, everyone present smiled.
It was the first spell they had ever learned, and after enduring Professor Flitwick's boring theories for nearly two months, they had experienced the magic of magic for the first time.
The spell was simple and had already been mastered by all those present.
"Everybody should be able to float things, but have you ever thought about manipulating things that float?" ”
This is actually a common technique of levitation charms, and wizards have long discovered this technique, and have developed a very boring game: they will command two tables to collide with each other to see who has the first table to fall apart.
The little wizards who came from pure-blooded backgrounds in this game knew about it, but none of them expected that the magic required for this game would be a simple levitation charm.
Carl could clearly see that several people were looking interested.
The technique was simple, and after Carl demonstrated and explained it, the group soon began to practice on their own.
Cedric was the first, followed by Fred and George, who not only learned the trick in the first place, but immediately took the local material and manipulated the two tables to start round after round of passionate collision.
The activity of these two made everyone more motivated, and soon after, Lee Jordan, Milton, Angelina, Alya, and Summers joined the group.
In the end, in the midst of this banging sound one after another, the first activity of the "Magic Practice Group" club ended happily.
The only trouble is that Carl discovers that Fred and George are in love with the magic.
Even when eating in a restaurant, they like to let the food fly directly to their mouths, and finally eat it triumphantly in the amazement of everyone.
Soon their performance became a scene in the cafeteria, and many first- and second-year students would even wait for them to show up, just to enjoy the performance of the two.
"I regret it a little." Carl said to Lee Jordan.
The fuss of the kids was a big headache for Carl - except for Fred and George, who liked to be in the limelight, no one liked to be seen as a circus show when they were eating.
There was even a first-year student who didn't know how to look at Carl to perform one, and if it wasn't in the cafeteria, Carl had to let him tap dance to class.
Lee Jordan was calm, smiled and comforted: "It'll be fine in a few days." After a few days, there will be a new buzz, and everyone will turn their attention elsewhere. ”
"I hope so." Carl could only comfort himself with this.
