Chapter 21: The Strange Fish

Philip was not as happy as the other crew and passengers, he pushed Gochia away from him, and despite the pain in his back and palms, he quickly ran to the side of the ship, looking out at the ocean in sight.

He constantly changes his position, looking for areas and objects that may be anomalous.

Suddenly, he heard a dull chirp.

He was stunned for a moment, discerning the direction from which the voice was coming from, and ran to the bow of the "Asuka".

The dull chirp grew sharper, and Philip saw blood flowers emerge from the blue sea in the distance, and a large shadow rose up.

The shadow quickly cleared into a four-eyed monster fish with gray-blue balls instead of scales on its body and a pointed mouth.

The strange fish was not small, writhing and struggling in the sea, flicking its tail fin and water droplets frantically.

There was no wind or waves around it, and the sea water surged to a height of five or six meters and then crashed heavily.

The shrill chirp subsided slightly, and the four-eyed monster re-dived underwater with a sense of real fear, swimming quickly into the distance.

The remnants of its kind followed.

At the window of room 5 in the first class, Lumian, who saw this scene, changed his clothes as if no one was around.

It was precisely when he found that the "Hate Movement" had detonated the fear of the four-eyed monster fish that he directly "teleported" back, instead of "jumping" into the air again, taking advantage of the opponent's surface to give saturation fire coverage.

Fear will make the monster flee and not stay where it is, and become ferocious and continue to make great waves.

"Huh......" waited until the four-eyed monster fish had completely left the sea, and Philip breathed a sigh of relief without concealment.

"It's okay, it's okay......" he instinctively whispered twice, opened his arms, and said reverently, "praise the sun!"

"Do you know that fish?"

Suddenly, a voice came from Philip's side.

Philip looked in amazement and saw Louis with black hair and green eyes and deep facial features. Berry.

His lover Gokia stood at the entrance of the cabin, wanting to come over here, but did not dare to approach the side of the ship.

"It's 'alien sailfish', hehe, that's the name given by scholars, and at sea, they have another name, 'Death Navigator'." Philip pressed his hand on the side of the boat and answered Lumian's question.

'Death Navigator', why haven't I heard of it?" Lumian said calmly.

Truth be told, he didn't know much about otherworldly beings, and he had mostly dealt with the Extraordinary, cultists, and out-of-control.

Philip glanced at him, exhaled, and said with a smile:

"It's a fish creature that has only appeared in recent years, and many crew members call it the devil of the sea."

It had only appeared in recent years....... Lumian frowned.

For him, such descriptions often mean that they are related to the erosion of evil gods, environmental changes, or the occurrence of disasters.

"Did it only recently appear in the Misty Sea, or did there be no legend of this fish on the Five Seas?" Lumian interrupted Philip's narration and asked a question.

Philip thought for a moment and said, "I used to serve in the Misty Sea Fleet, except for the Misty Sea, I have only been to the North Sea, and I don't know enough about the Furious Sea, the Sunia Sea, and the Polar Sea, but I really haven't heard of similar strange fish in the mouths of those crews, pirates, and other colleagues in the fleet, until a few years ago."

It can't be a fish polluted by an evil god, right? Lumian suddenly felt that it was a wise choice not to force the "alien sailfish" to kill just now.

That would expose his extraordinary abilities to many of his crew and passengers, as well as other dangers, and most likely nothing.

A pile of garbage, which can only be fed to Ludwig!

See Louis. Berry no longer dwelled on the details, and Philip continued: "The Alien Sailfish' would surface on a fog-free night and hang there vertically, as if quietly looking at the stars, and many sailors and pirates had seen such a scene and were frightened that they were summoning some kind of evil creature.

"If you think about it, the sea in the middle of the night is pitch black, the red moon in the sky is very faint, only under the starlight, and the twisted and terrifying fish heads silently poke out of the sea, motionless, arranged in different patterns....... everyone will be afraid!

Look up at the stars...... It can't really be polluted by the power of the evil god for some reason, right? Lumien pondered for a few seconds and said, "Why do you call them 'Dead Navigators'?"

Philip rubbed his cheeks: "After looking at the starry sky, the 'alien sailfish' will stay on the surface of the water, line up in two columns, form arrows, and swim towards a certain place in the sea, as if they are navigating unknown creatures."

"Some pirates, adventurers, and treasure hunters feel that this might point to something of great value or hidden treasure, and try to follow the 'alien sailfish' to see where they end up.

"None of the ships that did so returned, and the crew on it disappeared.

"That's why we all call 'Alien Sailfish' the 'Death Navigator.'"

Speaking of this, Philip sighed: "I have heard some sailors say that the 'Dead Navigator' seems to be able to steer the waves, and now it seems that this rumor is probably true, and much more powerful than I expected.

"Well, that 'alien sailfish' just now, even among all the 'Dead Navigators', should be a relatively powerful one.

"However, there has never been a 'Dead Navigator' attacking a human ship before... ….”

Lumian laughed, "Maybe it was attacked, but no one survived, and the news was not delivered."

Philip was stunned for a moment and said: "Also, in a huge wave like that just now, once the ship capsizes or is smashed, except for a few people with special abilities, no one will survive."

He paused, and said to himself, "The Dead Navigator's attack was provoked by that big trouble?"

"Possibly." Lumien responded sincerely.

After waiting for a while to make sure that the "Dead Navigators" had not returned, Philip turned around and said to the passengers and crew members crowded at the windows and the entrance and exit of the cabin: "The alarm is off!"

"It's normal!"

The humans who had just cheered had been given a definite answer, and they whimpered again, praising the gods they believed in.

Philip retracted his gaze and said thoughtfully, "The Dead Navigator was also scared away by that big trouble in the end?"

"I feel like it's scared."

"Possibly." Lumien was still so sincere.

With this episode, the Asuka increased its speed and arrived at Farin Harbor, the capital of the Misty Sea Islands, before night really came.

The sun hung behind the island of Santique, dying the ocean in the distance, the vast expanses of forest, and the brown volcano that had been dormant for so many years.

"Farin" means aroma and sweetness in the indigenous language of the Misty Sea Islands, and the island of Santique is rich in spices such as cloves, nutmeg, pepper, sugar-pressed plants such as sugar cane, bananas and grapes are the main fruits, and the rest is grown with cotton.

Looking at the white-walled and red-roofed buildings on the coastline, at the masts, sails and chimneys in the harbor, Lumian chuckled and said, "Rossell the Great, who named this city in the first place, probably did not expect that 'Falin' would become the last remnant of the indigenous language."

As a result of generations of cultural erosion, the current archipelago speaks only Intis, and since generations have been speaking their native language for generations.

There may be elders of the primitive tribes who live in the mountains and forests, but there is only one language in all the colonial cities and the surrounding plantations.

That's the Intian language.

Of course, in the Misty Sea Islands, there are some very rare Indisian words, which are the product of a combination of Intilis and indigenous languages, and outside of here, very few Intis people use them.

"Are you going to get off the boat?" Lugano asked about Lumien.

The Asuka will not leave the port until tomorrow afternoon.

"Of course, when you come to Falin, how can you not taste the famous Kinsom here?" "Will you take Ludwig with me, or will you stay here and look after him?"

The Misty Sea Islands are home to some of the best sugar cane in Intis, and the sugar wine made from their syrup is known as 'Kinsom'.

Lugano instinctively wanted to follow his employer, feeling more secure in the company of Lumien, who was both capable and decisive enough, but the "doctor" thought about it for a moment and decided that it was better to stay on the ship.

His employer is very powerful, but his ability to cause trouble is also not small!

Having left Ludwig enough money for dinner and two snacks for a late-night snack, Lumian descended the gangway in the form of a white shirt, a black waistcoat, a dark jacket and trousers of the same color.

Autumn was already cold in Trier, but the Misty Sea Islands seemed to be still late summer, and the heat was flowing in the air, which was quickly blown away by the blowing sea.

Lumian strolled out of the harbor and saw an old native lady with brown skin and a wrinkled face selling golden straw hats across the street.

It is woven from a local plant called "Golden Leaf", which is very popular with the "Eternal Sun" devotees, and if you buy one, you will have the illusion that the sun is on your head.

Lumian thought it was interesting to wear a straw hat, so he bought one for five Ricks, covered it on his head, and walked slowly to the nearby square.

In the center of the square there is a solar obelisk, and on the edge are several billboards with a large number of wanted notices pasted on them.

Lumian paused, put his hands in his pockets, and while the sun had not yet completely set, his eyes swept over the wanted notices, and wrote down one reward after another:

'The Mysterious Queen', one of the kings of the sea...... Bounty of 100 million filkins.

"King of the Five Seas" Nast, one of the kings of the sea...... Bounty of 20 million filkins.

"Queen of the Stars" Gardelia, one of the kings of the sea...... Bounty of 11 million filkins.

"The Immortal King' Agaritu, one of the kings of the sea...... Bounty of 4 million filkins.

'Queen of Disease' Tracy, one of the kings of the sea...... Bounty of 3,000,000 Filkin.

"Lord of the Dusk' Buratov. Ivan, one of the kings of the sea... Bounty of 2,600,000 Feldin ......."

The adventurer next to him saw that Lumian was seriously reading the wanted notice of the Six Kings of the Sea, and couldn't help but joke: "What, do you want to hunt the kings of the sea?"
