Second, the leader likes his subordinates to obey him because of an emotional need. Because dominating and controlling a person's behavior can bring pleasure and a sense of accomplishment to oneself, and it is also an external manifestation of one's own face. The obedience of subordinates to the leader is a recognition of the leadership position and authority, and it is to give the leader face. If subordinates do not obey the leader, or even confront the leader in person, this will make the leader feel embarrassed in face, and the relationship between the subordinate and the leader will be in jeopardy.
However, sometimes leaders will also blame their subordinates and make them feel wronged. What should be done at this point?
When this happens, subordinates should pay attention to two points: first, subordinates should maintain a restrained and calm attitude, and understand in their hearts that the leader is to blame themselves, but they should also tolerate it for the time being, and do not collide with the leader in person, so as not to damage the leader's face. Because once the leader's face is damaged, the leader may make mistakes and will not correct his mistakes. Second, after being wronged, we should not always remain silent, and when necessary, we should confide our grievances to the leader, but we should pay attention to ways and means, and do not collide with the leader on the fire of the leader and stiffen the relationship. Subordinates must learn to choose the right time, and at the same time, they must also learn to use appropriate methods to explain that the leader has wronged themselves and prove their correctness.
Experience has proved that it is a good way to give advice, and the gist of this method is that when you want to give advice to the leader, you do not directly point out the leader's mistakes to avoid damaging the leader's face. Instead, first affirm the leader's approach and reason according to the leader's logic until a very obvious mistake is inferred, so that the leader can find this mistake and take the initiative to correct it.
If you want your leader to accept your opinions, you must take care of the leader's face and express your opinions in an appropriate way, so as to increase the possibility of the leader accepting your opinions.
